We have been members for 30+ years. Through the good times, the not so good times, and now the good…read moretimes are back!!. First, the pools, the staff, and the operations are all top notch. The manager, Brad, has many years experience on the premise and knows how to make it a comfortable experience for most everyone who visits. The board has done a great job of spending limited funds where they are most effective. The end result is just a nice place to spend a couple hours, or more, a couple of days, or more, a week. One of the new additions this year is D'Cappos providing food from the "snack" deck. The everyday provisions are fine and the add ons during the weekend are fantastic!! Jerry brings high end restaurant food to the little shack on the snack deck. Tonight I took Cavatelli with a light white garlic and fresh squash sauce and a delicious Bruchetta home. Can't do that at any other pool I've ever been to. Where did that come from?? The board made another good decision from my point of view. My daughter had never taken a formal dance class and was very anxious to start. I searched all over…read morefor a beginning dance class that fit our lifestyle (read: had classes at times that weren't mid-day or too late) and fit my daughter's skill level. Often by age 6, most studios have assumed children have been dancing for 3-4 years and my daughter no longer fit into their "beginning" classes. EDS popped up a few times, and the location was fairly convenient, as were the class times and offerings. My daughter was VERY eager to start in Beginning Ballet and learn to dance. From the beginning we were impressed with EDS and their flexibility. My daughter couldn't attend her first class until the 3rd week of the season. They accepted her warmly and without penalty, and reminded me that the first class you take is completely free (so if you hate it, you don't pay for it.) She got a free dance bag (which is a pretty cheap drawstring backpack, BUT she loves it and is very proud of it) and got to paint her hand and put her handprint on the wall in the hallway, and she was so proud to do that. What I was VERY excited about was their willingness to accept her and work with her, regardless of her Austism diagnosis. Many studios said they weren't equipped, or they didn't have the staff to accommodate a special needs dancer. EDS goes above and beyond to accommodate and welcome dancers and families with special needs. They have a Special Olympics team, a unified dance team, special needs classes, and more. We've never felt out of place or unwelcome at EDS (and special needs families know that is an ongoing battle.) Miss Brianne is a wonderful teacher and has met my daughter at her skill level, and my daughter has been thrilled to go to class each week. The staff is warm and welcoming, and I've never heard an angry instructor or crying student. The studios are light and bright and airy and they truly go out of their way to make every student feel welcome and important.

The instructor was super calm and knew exactly how to help with road test nerves. They were based in Westmont but worked around the Chicago suburbs too -- super convenient. If you're near Downers Grove or Oak Brook and need a driving instructor who's reliable and easy to work with, definitely check them out. My friend passed their test right after finishing lessons here!

Their phone number does not work when call it multiple times and their email seems shady in not responding to my messages. I do not trust such a business that does not reply or when they do, it does not pertain to the needs of the communication. I am not recommending this company due to my personal negative experience with it. 1 star because that is the lowest I could give this business in order to post my review.

My son was able to take the class but was unable to do his driving with an instructor in Waukegan…read more I had to take him to northbrook to do some driving with an instructor. (45 minutes away) then I couldn't take him to northbrook to finish because they didn't have instructors either. I called and they said because he is 18 he can just go take the test and they will give me a partial refund. He was finally ready to get his license (almost a year later) and now they are telling me they never said they would give me a partial refund. I was told they tried to call me and set up his driving with an instructor but they never did. I only have records of outgoing calls (me calling them) not even one email. I would not recommend them at all.. I wouldn't even give one star. It's not about the refund is the principle... highly recommend them if you want some of what you paid for.

We recently threw a party for our daughter's fifth birthday…read more The online booking system was easy to use and I was able to apply a promotion deal to save 15%. The party details were clearly written out and there were plenty of available dates and time slots. I did not have any issues to reserve for a 4 pm Sunday party for 24 children. On the day of the party, we arrived 30 minutes early to unload our car and set up the outside food and snacks, and party favors. There are two separate sections for check-ins, one was party attendees and the other was for general admissions. There was a small wait because there was no staff checking people in for parties and two staff were checking in for general admissions. Regardless, we were able to check in and my girls were able to enjoy the play areas while I set up the party. To save time, I highly recommend for parents to remember to sign the waivers beforehand. The food arrived in a relatively timely manner. The staff needed reminders to bring out the utensils and napkins but otherwise she was helpful. We had a good time and did not feel rushed.

Celebrated my daughter's 3rd birthday party and I was hesitant because I've been to a couple sky…read morezones and they're really big, kids running around everywhere. This one I felt like it was catered to toddlers or at least half of the facility did toddlers and kid under the age of 10. There were still older kids there and jumping around there was a basketball court and a soccer area. I have been to the sky zone in Aurora and Orland Park. This one was definitely the best for my younger kids. My 12 yo also has a blast. The party coordinators were young but attentive, listened and we got through our party pretty successfully. There was two slides which was new than our other sky zone experiences and multiple obstacle courses.
