Coffee & has rightfully earned its spot as one of my top matcha places of all time. I was so excited to try their new location in Cypress right across the plaza from Mitsuwa and behind the race track. I visited on sunny Saturday afternoon to get some studying done after lunch. The shop is a bit more spacious than the original BP location. They have a few but larger tables with outlets, perfect for someone like me who likes to camp out for a couple of hours. For my visit, I had their double matcha latte half sweet. The matcha was perfectly umami, on the creamier and nuttier side, just the way I like it. I've also been sleeping on double matchas in general, but they give the perfect cold foam feeling without diluting the matcha. Service was pretty standard. The cashier kindly took my order and was accommodating. Suprisingly, the shop wasn't really busy--most tables had at least 1-2 people, but no lines or not even constant flow of customers. The interior is clean and modern with a good amount of seating inside. The team is friendly too! For sips and bites, I got their Coco Cloud and a Salt Bread. The Coco Cloud is essentially coconut water topped with a matcha foam. Super refreshing! I think they use real coconut water which makes everything taste really clean and not too sweet. Love! Stopped by this coffee shop before heading home & I'm so glad we found it! I got the banana pudding, banana matcha w oat milk and my cousin got the biscoff latte with oat milk. The banana pudding was genuinely SO yummy. Like definitely a new favorite banana pudding from a coffee shop. I even bought one to take home lol. The matcha was so good because it basically also had a scoop of banana pudding in it. so yummy. The vibes of the coffee shop in general were nice. Located in a plaza next to Mitsuwa, this coffee shop has plenty of parking. I visited after having lunch nearby. The interior is surprisingly larger than the exterior led me to believe, with a lot of empty space and bland decor. The vibe didn't feel inviting to me. I ordered an Einspanner and an unusual cookie from their pastry case. The cookie had a piece of Oreo, a couple pieces of Biscoff, and some marshmallow on top of it; it definitely looked interesting. The Einspanner was above average but the cookie was disappointing. It was really dry. Even the other pieces stuck on top of the cookie tasted like they'd been sitting out for a while. I didn't even finish eating it. Most other reviewers love this place so I'm the odd man out; my experience was just, at best, "okay". read more

I love this second location of coffee &! The first one is in Buena Park and they had one of the best double matcha I've had in oc. Now they're in cypress!! Parking is easy out in the parking lot. This spot looks slightly bigger too. Lots of indoor seating with low and regular tables. The drinks are so good here, honey oat latte and double matcha is to die for. Still one of the best in the area. Last week I stumbled upon this new location from Coffee& and I was so so happy! Normally I would make the trek out to Buena Park when I'm really craving for their yummy high quality double matcha but most of the time I would settle for something closer in the Irvine/Westminster area and I was on my way home from the vet for my doggie and was thinking of Coffee & in BP and I yelped it and couldn't believe my eyes there was one nearby! This new location is in the same plaza as the also fairly new Mitsuwa, where the 24 Hour Fitness is. Close to TJ's and Costco! They said they just opened about 10 days ago so I was thrilled to be the newer customers to find out! They offer same drinks and pastries options but the seatings are more spacious and plenty more tables and chair! Overall it's a bigger location than the one in BP and also lots more parking! The only thing to point out is they do have a rewards program via Clover but they treat each location as a separate entity! Normally for a rewards program you can redeem or earn points for same coffee shop at various locations but it's still just one rewards account. This, you can't and if you're like me and have been to both, you will end up earning separate points at each locations, which I think is a bummer! read more

I have been to their other location in Buena Park but the one that just opened up at Cypress is just as cute, vibey, and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The cafe is located in a shopping center so there is enough parking in the area. I loved the minimalist and clean look of the cafe - it has quite a few seating areas so it is a good place for studying or just meeting up with a friend to catch up. The staff here was super friendly and warm and definitely very helpful and attentive. Ordered the following: - & Chestnut Latte - Banana Pudding Matcha - Strawberry Matcha - Oreo Mallow (Cookie) - Original (Cookie) - Garlic Cream They had such a great selection of drinks and pastries/cookies on their menu. All the drinks that we tried were amazing and tasted delicious! My personal favorite was the Chestnut Latte that had a smooth, nutty, and with a mix of coffee and subtle sweetness. All the cookies/pastries we tried were aesthetically made but also very delicious! Overall, very grateful to the staff. Coffee & in Buena Park was my favorite coffee shop when I lived in Buena Park. I was so sad when I moved and was no longer close to the original location... until they opened this location in Cypress that I was closer to! The matcha foam top is the best matcha foam of any coffee shop I've been to. The coco cloud is a seasonal drink but it is SO GOOD!! Every drink I've had from the menu is excellent. It's real good coffee and matcha. The baristas are always super friendly and fast, and this location has a spacious interior with lots of tables for studying/working. My coworker recommended Coffee & in Cypress, so I decided to check it out. I usually avoid Black Dot because I'm not a fan of their matcha, and while I like Arc Coffee, the parking lot is such a hassle that it keeps me from going there. I looked at Coffee &'s online menu before heading over and was honestly surprised by how many matcha options they have. They even use ceremonial-grade matcha, which immediately caught my attention. Ordering online was super easy, but after picking up my drinks, I kind of wish I had gone inside first because the shop is beautiful. It's very clean, well air-conditioned, and they even have a nice selection of pastries. I ordered the Matcha Einspänner and the Strawberry Matcha. The cups were filled generously, and both drinks tasted incredibly close to the matcha drinks I had while visiting Japan. I was also excited to see they offer hojicha drinks, which you don't find at many local coffee shops. I placed my pickup order for around 10:20 AM, and it was ready quickly with no wait. I chatted with one of the employees for about a minute, and she was so kind, genuine, and welcoming. I always appreciate friendly, outgoing staff because it makes the experience that much better. What surprised me the most was learning they've only been open for about a month. The employee mentioned it's been a little slow, which honestly shocked me because the quality of the drinks and the overall experience were excellent. I'm definitely coming back to try the hojicha next, and I'll be posting another review after I do. I went today for the BOGO 50% deal. I'm glad a second Coffee & location opened so close to me. The last time I came, I ordered the banana pudding matcha -- it was so sweet and yummy. This time I went with a more tame drink, the iced matcha latte. I was a bit disappointed that 10% of the drink was missing; it wasn't filled to the top. Overall, the taste was alright and I should've ordered it more sweet (that was on me). I tried a sip of my friend's drink, the chestnut latte, and will definitely be coming back for that! read more

came during their soft opening and conveniently located right next to the new mitsuwa in cypress as well. just like the original coffee &, there is ample seating with outlets nestled evenly throughout the store. i ordered the matcha einspanner alongside their original cookie but regretted my decision as everything became too sweet for me. on its own, both the cookie and matcha were not bad but i think a savory pastry would've been the best choice to accompany my matcha. the pros of having a second location is less chance of the store being crowded. read more

For starters I love this new location! It's bigger than their other one. Ample seating inside, great place for a coffee date or getting work done. Customer service here was great, they were welcoming and kind. Coffee still taste the same, the only thing is my iced latte was a little watered down. Luckily I can compare it to the way it's made at their Buena Park location. I always order the Brown Sugar shaken with oatmilk. This time it was a little off. This was my first time visiting "Coffee &" in Cypress, CA and I was very impressed! I got to try their chestnut iced latte and it was amazing and unique. I chose my coffee at 50% sweetness and with oat milk. Everyone at the cafe was very polite and I enjoyed the coffee tasting experience. They also provided great recommendations.
