Unfortunately, our first experience at Seesaw Beans & Coffee was extremely disappointing. My husband and I walked in and stood there waiting to be helped, but no one greeted us or acknowledged us. We felt uncomfortable with the staring and the overall lack of warmth, and after standing there for a while, we decided to leave. What made it especially disappointing is that we are both minorities and genuinely wanted to support a new minority-owned business in the neighborhood. Instead, we walked away feeling completely unwelcome. Before leaving, I brought the experience up to someone who worked there, and the only response I received was, "I'm so sorry." There was no attempt to understand what happened or make us feel differently about the experience. It's really unfortunate that in 2026, people can still walk into a business and feel unwelcome because of the way they are treated. Customer service and simply acknowledging people who walk through your door should be the bare minimum. I really wanted to support this new neighborhood business, but unfortunately, I'll stick with places like Smoking Tiger where we have always felt welcomed and treated with kindness. read more

Finally got to try this coffee shop and really love that they do community outreach and include adults with developmental disabilities. Which makes me want to support their shop even more! They have a diverse menu and their own roasting in the shop. The different varieties of roasted beans and even have it out for you to smell or try out on their menu. For this trip, I had an espresso tonic which was pretty balanced in taste and sweetness and my fiancé got the banana latte and you could definitely taste the banana flavor burst. There is plenty of seating inside and outside their patio and parking is plenty between 8am-4pm as they use the parking lot of the restaurant across the street in the back entrance where the patio is. With the rise of great coffees in the area, we had to add this one to the list. Coffee is great, store is stylish, and they have a great outdoor seating area. Just be warned the parking area is small, you'll need to park across in the BBQ restaurant's area. One gripe/annoyance is their digital menu...the font is a great sky blue color, but the background is white. It is literally impossible to read. It was decadent, with nutty/caramel undertones and sweetness pulling through the espresso. The Cappucino uses their Signature Purple blend with origination from Colombia, Ethiopia, and Guatemala. It was sweet, with fruity and chocolatey notes coming through. Truly a delicious pull! I was genuinely surprised by how much I liked all of their drinks. I heard a lot of hype about Seesaw so I had high expectations and it still didn't disappoint. I got the double matcha for myself and it was the perfect balance of earthy, creamy, and sweet. I had originally wanted the Madagascar vanilla cream but my brother also wanted it so I got it for him, and tried it, of course. It was so good. It tasted better than your average vanilla latte. The base wasn't sweet so the cream on top was a harmonious addition. As for the hazelnut einspänner, the Americano was not bitter nor acidic so it was a win. The hazelnut cream was rich and thick enough to stay afloat but easy enough to mix in. I would definitely come back and re-order all the drinks and try new ones. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have a large parking lot in the back, and ordering online was quick and convenient. Process takes about 20hrs. Don't worry you don't have to wait for 20 hours for a cup a coffee. :P Cold brew was very good and didn't have much acidic.
