I've had coffee from a lot of places, but this spot genuinely stood out to me. I'm honestly not even a huge coffee person, so for me to still be thinking about this drink says a lot. My friends and I were staying at a hotel nearby and decided to make the 15 minute walk over, and it ended up being one of the best parts of the trip. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming. The cashier was incredibly kind and patient, and even though the place was busy, everything moved quickly and smoothly. There were people studying, having conversations, relaxing with friends, and it just had that perfect coffee shop energy that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. The coffee itself was amazing. It tasted smooth, fresh, and honestly addictive without being overpowering. You could tell there was real care put into making it. Some places are overhyped, but this one actually lived up to the feeling people look for when they want a "good coffee shop experience." This Review has been WAY TOO OVERDUE. I've been coming to this place for a few months, it's my go to if I'm going to finish up work or just not think of anything and enjoy the coffee they have which I must say is REALLY REALLY GOOD, I've had like 70% of their menu and each drink just hits the spot better than the other, Americano? Hits, lattes? HITS HARDER, new drinks like their walnut latte? Oh you bet it's fire. Their VTM coffee tastes very very authentic as well and I'm very obsessed with this place. When you enter and specially in the morning they're usually busy so you do have to stand in the line to order or go straight and pick up the order online if you've made one online. They're very very fast and efficient! Every single time I go Alex always takes good care of me, we're pretty much best friends at this point! On top of that, Kevin and Barbra are also extremely friendly and I really love their attitude in the past few months that I've been going to this place I HAVE NEVER had a bad experience with any of the employees quite the opposite, they actually make the start to my day 10x better! Let me start by saying that I mainly come each week to get their Vietnamese iced coffee (VTM). It is so good and I'm addicted to it and try to limit myself to once a week. It was my first time at this coffee shop. I was excited to see they have 3 Einspanner matchas in their menu. I ordered their traditional Einspanner matcha in a large size. I cant say I was happy with my experience. There was way too much of ice in my drink. There was more flavor of milk than matcha or the thick whipped cream it is known for. For the dollar more i paid for a large size, I basically got more ice. Also, I was surprised to see a note at the bottom of the menu stating that ice is part of recipe for iced drinks and ordering less ice does not mean more drink. Watered down matcha and coffee at best; with that said, the only thing that was most enjoyable was it had an outdoor seating area where I can enjoy a nice day out with my dog and stopping by Trader Joe's afterwards. Their avocado toast was simple for the cost and their breakfast was pretty decent but for the size and amount of food, it's definitely not worth it (to the point where I didn't even snap a photo). The interior is nice and clean but the staff looked like they did not want to be serving customers but rather just stand around and chit chat. I wish Yelp had half point increments for reviews. I give this spot a 3.5 because I don't feel it's a true 4. The space inside was clean, with a good vibe, and very comfortable seating. I ordered two Large Iced Spanish Lattes, a sausage and egg bagel sandwich, and a BEC on an everything bagel. Order total was just over $39 and with a 15%, it came out to $45. I felt this was a bit steep for what it was but nonetheless, I figured mini splurge to try a new spot and since it's Friday. Wait time for everything was 20 minutes, which I didn't mind because I sat in the most comfortable chair. The food's temperature held up quite well. I had to drive to Anaheim to drop off breakfast for my husband, and his sandwich was still warm. He loved his BEC, and gave it a 4.5/5. The croissant oddly felt like I was eating a loaf of French bread, I was weirded out by this but felt it complemented the espresso. A top choice for coffee for us as always! I don't know how they do it, but the coffee is always perfect. It's never too sweet or too sour (I strongly dislike sour coffee). The wait is always very reasonable despite them having a constant flow of customers. This location is always very clean as well. The only thing I wish they had was more seating with larger tables, as their current tables are quite small, which makes studying or working there difficult if you come with a friend or want to use a monitor. But this place is probably more suitable for hanging out than studying. The plaza it's located is very cozy with some restaurants, Trader Joe's, yoga studios, etc. Also, they always add a design to their hot drinks, which I appreciate!
