He responded the very same day, and by June 25 he was already checking on our timeline to make sure we could get the job done before our scheduled installation on the 29th. Mike and his team were professional, friendly, understanding, and communicated with us every step of the way. We ran into an unexpected issue when the store we purchased our pool from gave us the wrong bottom rails. Even though it wasn't his fault, Mike stayed in contact with us the entire time, patiently waited for the correct parts to arrive, and never left us wondering what was happening. It's hard to find contractors who genuinely care about their customers, and Mike and his team absolutely do. Their dedication, communication, and commitment to getting the job done right made a stressful situation so much easier. Opened a pool, promptly put a hole in the liner, which in turn resulted in a a multi-month delay and much more, price wise. As you can see from his response to Martha, he will refuse to take responsibility. He'll hang up on you, lie and say he'll come back (and never show). Anything to kick the bucket down the road. He'll definitely cash your check immediately though.

I hired Dales pool in mount Washington, ky to install an inground pool with liner in the year 2022…read more Unfortunately,the pool has leaked since the first year it was installed. Over the next 3 years, the company repeatedly denied it was leaking, despite patching the liner multiple times. Each season the leak became worse. Eventually, the company told us to obtain a third party evaluation and stated they would pay for that. We had two separate pool professionals inspect the pool, and both immediately identified that the liner had been installed with a wrinkle under the main drain and that the drain gasket screws were stripped. After we reported these findings, Dales pools drained the Pool themselves and applied sealant around the drain, but the pool continued to leak. In the fall of 2025, Brandon , the son, admitted he could not stop the leak and agreed to replace the the liner in the spring of 2026. When spring arrived ,we were told by Corey, the father, they would no longer honor the repair because "someone else drained the pool" even though their own company had drained it during prior repair attempts. We are now facing approximately $7,500 in repairs due to what multiple professionals identified as a faulty install. It was all sunshine and rainbows until it came time for them to honor their word. Then we were ghosted. They will not respond to any communication attempts.

They took care of everything, including upgrading our gas service with the utility company. This is our third inground pool we've had installed and this was by far the best. Extremely happy with the service, quality, workmanship and skill the pool was installed with. We interviewed four pool companies before hiring Big Time Pools. The owner, Zach Stivers was the most honest and sincere contractor we've ever met. Everything he promised was delivered and more. There were no delays, we were not pushed to the side for them to work on other projects, they worked diligently until our project was complete.
