The crew of Ziek, Ryan and Wyatt were awesome. There was never a wait for pizza and they had music playing for the kids playing yard games. They went out of their way to make a salad for gluten-free guests. I love the concept of a woodfired pizza oven inside a remodeled yellow school bus. It definitely made this food truck stand out when it came to my job one day for our summer food truck rotation. The employee on the bus was super friendly had my food ready very quick. I ordered the Angry Hawaiian which had great flavor, lots of bacon (surprisingly no ham) and a nice kick to it from the peppers on top. I was t crazy about the handful of large chunks of pineapple. I would've preferred smaller pieces throughout the pizza so I cut up the large chunks and spread them about, which took some time. Went to Gertens for an after hours garden shopping event and was so happy to see the Brick Oven Bus! There were 3 of us and we had the meat pizza and a plain pepperoni. The pizza crust is amazing and there is no shortage of toppings. Delish!! Such a fast turn around from ordering. Staff is all super chill. The menu is posted on the doors of the bus. When you are ready to order you go up the stairs and you are able to pay with a credit card. When your pizza is ready they will call your name from the side window and hand it to you from there. I found these guys on a Facebook event. They were in my area and I thought I'd give it a try. The staff was very friendly and professional. The one staff survey where I normally get pizza and general conversation while we wait for the pizza to cook. I was in and out of there in 5-minutes. The pizza was made to order - the kneel the dough right when I placed the order. After all the toppings were done, they said, "it'll be ready in 3-minutes!" They were also transparent with their pizza size--it is 10" in diameter. Overall, delicious pizza. I'd buy pizza from them again. They recommend visiting their official website to see where the bus is located on that day; it usually goes to breweries. I found them at an Ace Hardware parking lot. The pizzas were okay but could have been wonderful. My husband ordered the Freddy Krueger (meat) and it was way overcooked. He also said it tasted funny. The issue was the seasoning that they put on top. It should have been more evenly sprinkled but on the piece he ate it was almost a teaspoon in one bite. I ate a few bites of another slice and had the same problem. The Jason Voorhees was olives, artichokes and balsamic vinegar. Way too much vinegar as the whole inside of the pizza was soggy. Lots of olives but only a few larger chunks of artichokes that fell off the pizza since it was too soggy. The outer crust was good.
