The first time we went my other half got what she wanted and I asked for a recommended drink. Both were shockingly super good for flavors I hate. I forgot what my other half had but the cashier recommended a peach and mango with black tea. I get it every time now. I hate mango and peach but weirdly the black tea was just perfect. It does get extremely busy a lot bc they are just so good and pricing is awesome ! I do like to grab their cereal treats every so often too. But we do notice that some workers make the drinks better can recall which ones but we had a few that just was not it. So in a way a hit or miss depending on who's working. This place was awesome. Normal coffee shop so don't be in a hurry. A large selection of options. Girls that waited on us were super friendly and recommended multiple options based on tastes. Cute little place. We took out drinks to go so we didn't hang around long. Not a huge place so not a lot of seating but enough for your local coffee house. Tried to get coffee here on a mid Tuesday morning (around 8:30-9am) but the line practically snaked out the door, and for better or worse, thanks to the friendly, personal attention offered to each and every customer, there was no way to make it in and out of there without at least a 20+ minute wait. Their selection looks good, prices average to high (I'm a semi-coffee cheapo!!), and it seems to be a nice, cozy spot to enjoy a well-made cup of coffee. Locally owned and operated, Coffee Expressions is tucked away in the Wittenberg area of Springfield. I only ever get espresso drinks here, my personal favorite being a caramel or vanilla latte with soy milk. The baristas are always friendly and quick with the order. I have heard the drip coffee or regular coffee isn't the best here, but cannot attest to that personally. My 4-Star Review is based solely on the coffees I buy there, nothing more. I think if they offered a bit more for food, my review would be higher, not much to eat here, but the coffee is very good. I have never had a bad coffee in dozens of visits. They serve Crimson Cup roasted coffee, which is Ohio Roasted, Fair Trade and Certified Organic. Update: They now serve pour-over coffee as well. Quite good. read more

Every time I come to Springfield, I HAVE to stop at Coffee Expressions to get a frozen blended vanilla latte! They use Crimson Cup products and they are delicious! It doesn't matter if its 90 degrees or -20. I have to have it! They have a diverse menu for all coffee lovers and they have many flavorings for your favorite cup of Joe.
