Very nice comfortable setting and very good strong black drip coffee lasted me 2 days. You can sit inside or outside next to the railroad tracks. Free easy parking. $3 for a medium sized black coffee. Cups leak from the top until you drink it down. Cups are thin and can burn your hand. They don't have plastic stoppers to fill the hole--they only have stickers--bad news--hot coffee can drip on your hand. When car moved coffee dripped from the cup top all over the console from the cup holder in my friend's car and I had to clean it up. The entire cup system they are using here is a major problem. Guy serving me not overly friendly but okay. Definitely beats Starcrooks but they need better cups and tops. read more

WOW!!! Their bfast sandwiches and lunch paninis are the best I've ever had! I don't go during peek hours so the wait has never been too long for me. If you do need to pick up during the busy time I suggest ordering online, you pick it up in the foyer area-super quick and convenient! The coffee is easy to drink unlike Starbucks bitter, too strong for me, coffee. Service has always been given with a smile. I love love love this place! I wish it was in my town! I would spend a lot of money and time here! This is an adorable and well sized coffee shop inside an old train depot. There is plenty of parking outside and a really nice, mostly covered patio. It sits along a bike/walking trail and there is a cute donated bike fix it stop in memory of Uncle Al. How sweet! Inside is rather large with tons of seating options. This would be a great place to get some work done. The menu was almost overwhelming with so many great drink choices. They also had amazing looking baked goods and even food! You could have breakfast, lunch, brunch, light dinner, and dessert all here! The staff was really nice and helpful in helping me decide what to get. There was some seasonal specials and off that I chose the Almond Joy frozen coffee drink and asked them to make it not as sweet. They were so efficient for how busy it was, I could not believe how quick my drink was ready! My drink was so tasty and it really did taste like an Almond Joy coffee! read more

Great coffee and sandwiches in a unique location. We tried the pumpkin latte, an oat milk latte, a cold brew, and a soy latte - all great! Also had the Depot and the Mediterranean sandwiches which were delicious. We're from out of town and were also impressed by how nice everyone is. Amazing! Gorgeous old train station. This is a small local owned business run by real live human beings. If I can find anything to complain about it's that they're usually so busy we can't find a place to sit or park, without waiting! Nothing is bad here and if it is ask them to fix it, without snarking or biting their heads off. They're in food service but they're not servants. Best place to get coffee or food in Urbana. It's one of the few places that's not a chain. The building itself is a reason to go. A great repurposing of an old train depot. The coffee here kicks ass too. I had a Cherry Cobbler coffee with a vegan brownie. It's about $3 for a medium size coffee. This one is made with cherry syrup and vanilla. It was so sweet it was like actually drinking cherry cobbler. The barista also put in a cool design on top. It has some food for lunch hours. These are mostly freshly made sandwiches. It wasn't the right time to have one, so I had a brownie. This was so good, it was hard to believe a vegan brownie could be so moist. It's pretty easy to find. Cute place to stop on our day of biking. They offer coffees,smoothies,sandwiches and a few breakfast sandwiches. Breakfast is available until 11 am and lunch till 4 pm. Husband had the chicken salad and I had the Mediterranean. Both were yummy. My husband noted the chicken salad was sweet so I'm guessing it is made with miracle whip and not mayonnaise. Sweet tea and green tea were made how we like them. Sweet tea was sweet and green tea was just green tea. Only seating outdoor and three people allowed in store at one time. read more

I've tried this place a few times. Mediocre coffee. Sandwiches are ok. Dude cooking rarely gets order right or complete. I could get by going there occasionally but the guy cooking is super rude. The rest of the staff acts stressed and it's total chaos behind the counter. read more

I didn't love my breakfast sandwich as I thought it was somewhat plain and the bacon had a slightly weird taste but overall priced well and a place I would return to. It's just a beautiful experience to get coffee there. The history of the building and the ambience of sitting inside or outside. The coffee is excellent and the employees are always extremely friendly and accommodating. Their selections of sandwiches is really great too. I enjoy going there, just sitting taking it all in and in the summer months to sit outside by the railroad tracks. I think everyone should experience it especially how good the coffee is. Okay, so when a buddy and I met at Crabill's, we decided to grab a cup of coffee afterwards since he had time to kill, and neither of us had been to this place. Needless to say, I was impressed. The decor is nice, and I 'm glad they didn't try to update the building and make it "modern" and instead it feels, well, timeless. The Americano was good, but we didn't eat any food, but they had *something* in the oven, as the place smelled delicious. I think next time I come to Urbana, stopping by the coffee house may become part of the trip. read more

I honestly don't know how the coffee depot doesn't have 5 stars, if there were more stars to give I would. The Depot isn't just a place to have coffee it's a great environment. It is one of Urbana's finest treasures. I do go for the coffee, but I always feel welcome and comfortable when I am there. The coffee is the best coffee in a 30 mile radius. Starbucks, Tim Hortons or Dunkin Donuts DO NOT compare to the depot coffee. The Depot Mocha is my absolute favorite. This is a cozy little spot to hang out with friends,relax and read a book or study. Several rooms with various seating arrangements make it comfortable for everyone as well as a good size area for outdoor seating. Right on the bike path it's a perfect stop along your journey. The bathrooms are roomy and always clean. The Depot Mocha is a favorite of mine. And yes, it's a bit pricy so this is my occasional treat. If I could afford the habit however I would be here daily. The fresh muffins are moist and tasty. Lunch you can't go wrong with their paninis and their soups. They have occasional events such as open mic or featured guests in the evenings. If you are wanting peace and quiet and not entertainment you may want to follow them on FB to make sure nothing is going on before you plan a trip although I think it's pretty sporadic at best. read more

Rustic places tend to be my favorites. I also happen to love old train depots. Combine the two and serve coffee and you have created my dream home. Just the right mix of old and contemorary in the decor, and good coffee. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. There is pleanty of room and it is very comfy...and did I mention good coffee? You can obviously get the coffee to go...but why would you not stay and drink it here?! The building is what really makes the expierience complete as you enjoy... did I mention it?... good coffee. And, if you do choose to stay, and if you happen to use the restrooms, you will find them very nicely remodeled and very clean. Well worth a long trip if need be. read more

A nice change of pace for Urbana Ohio. Being a small town they do not offer too many local specialties besides some favorites that have been in business for 50+ years.
