I am obsessed with this local coffee shop! Everytime I come to Dayton, I take the opportunity to work from here at least one day! The decor has changed since the last time I visited (more moody & cozy color scheme) but it still is and always has been a vibe!!! On my most recent visit I got an iced vanilla matcha with oat milk and an avocado "toast". The matcha was well blended and balanced between the matcha and vanilla flavor. My toast came out as a croissant piled high with fresh avocado, pickled onions, blistered tomatoes, micro greens and everything seasoning! So filling and delicious! I originally sat at a high top table in the front so I could eat and work easier at the same time but eventually moved to the low table conversation area in the back when I needed an outlet (the tall tables in the front by outlets were all taken). I also noticed that on wednesdays-sundays the shop is open until11p and that there are daily happy hour specials from 4-6p with drink and dip specials! Would love to come back one day to check this out! Definitely check out MidDay if you are in the area looking for somewhere to relax, catch up with a friend, work (be mindful of finding an outlet), or go on a date.... I stopped into this place for a quick breakfast and found it to be a quaint shop. There was plenty of space and seating areas inside to duck out of the cold. The staff were efficient and friendly and the drink menu was really creative. I think I had a banana foster latte or something similar. The one drawback was that they didn't have any grab and go pastries or snacks. I was in a hurry to get to work so I didn't have time to order off the menu, but the team was able to heat up a croissant for me. So grateful so I didn't go to work starving! I'd recommend this place, especially if you have a little extra time in the morning. read more

Needed to take care of my coffee fix and found this place here on yelp. Very nice, and relaxing type of vibe inside this place. Was greeted promptly when coming in. I kept it very simple and ordered an iced coffee with caramel flavor. Along with a bacon egg and cheese bagel. Definitely fill the spot. Coffee was very good and had the perfect amount of caramel flavor in it that satisfied my thirst. The bagel did his job and filled me up to be ready to start my day. I could definitely see myself sitting here, relaxing if I needed to get some work done while enjoying a good coffee and a snack to accomplish that goal. read more

A must- visit spot in Dayton!!! Midday in Dayton is an absolute gem. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was incredible. You can tell this place was created with care and intention. Stopped by for breakfast recently. I love all types of breakfast sandwiches. MidDay food was disgusting. Absolutely gross. The meager breakfast sandwich was $11+tax. McDonalds definitely has better food than here.They gave me a full refund. I would never return to this place again if I was in town. Great Yelp! find. I met a great friend for brunch after finding this gem on Yelp. The atmosphere is so well done. Very inviting and thoughtful. The food was amazing! They don't have a vast menu, but what they do have is delicious. The service was very friendly. They were pretty busy, which I always take as a positive sign, but a couple of people handled the crowd perfectly. Excellent drinks and coffee, too. read more

If I could give 6 stars, I would!!! The coffee here is absolutely amazing, but most often I find myself getting an iced vanilla matcha- Anthony nails it every time! And the Spicy B sandwich?? More like Spicy A+!! The midday sauce paired with the thick bacon and fluffy eggs on the perfectly soft bagel are chefs kiss. MidDay is a new coffee shop that replaced the ghost light at this location, so I figured I would try this new place as I love to support local coffee shops. Unfortunately, I have to give this place 3/5 stars. The reason I give this place 3/5 stars is primarily because of the prices. This place is way overpriced. I paid just over $6 for a cappuccino, which is just absurd, especially in the Dayton area. On average, I'd say $4 is normal for a cappuccino, even in places of high cost of living. $6 is just outrageously high. I will say the cappuccino was good, but very small. I did appreciate the nice latte art though. Just not worth the price tag that came along with it. I cannot speak to the food, but the croissant sandwiches that others ordered around me did look good, though quite expensive as well. Overall, I would not return to this place because of the prices. I would recommend other coffee shops in the area. read more

In Dayton for the weekend and came back twice, the atmosphere was really relaxed and the food was great! I got the bacon egg and cheese sandwich with some pancake poppers and it was delicious! I guess they are starting a cocktail lounge as well but sadly I wasn't able to make it back in the evenings.
