Friendly staff. We order the logger breakfast sandwiches. They were still hot a mile down the road. Coffee and tea were excellent. They have a quote of the day tigress and a reading reward program for kids. It's an inviting place to sit and peruse their book collection and local artwork. Love the greeting cards. A local favorite, coffeehouse 26 is like our community's living room. Super friendly staff, good food and beverages, a lovely shop with books featuring local authors and locally made gifts and art. Sometimes they have live music with local musicians. This is a great place to set up and work remotely, with reliable wifi. Also a great place to meet up with friends. read more

This is hands down the best coffee house I have been to while visiting Oregon. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxing, and the staff is spectacular. There are a mix of vintage and modern furniture pieces and plenty of drink selections to choose from. Amber made our coffees and they were DELICIOUS! There are books and art available for browsing and there is adorable "big foot" themed art and figures within the shop. I strongly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting this area! Specialties

Using locally owned Hoodland Coffee Company espresso and coffee beans, Coffee House 26 specializes in a wide variety of coffee drinks. Our signature Purple Haze is a local favorite which consists of Ghiradelli white chocolate, espresso, lavender, blackberry, steamed milk and homemade whipped cream! Along with our specialty mochas and lattes, we also specialize in pour over coffees using our V60. Flavored by a rotating single origin bean, the pour over is timed and perfected to make the coffee lovers drip a real delight!

History

Established in 2015.

Growing off of the foundation built by former owners Kris and Blythe Williams, new owners Amber Ford and Tyler Lehmann have shaped this mountain coffee shop into a modern and comfortable meeting spot for locals and visitors. With the help of the amazing staff at Coffee House 26, this coffee shop has not only created drinks to wow and satisfy, but has also created a community gathering spot for groups, children and families.

Meet the Business Owner: Amber and Tyler L.

Meet Tyler and Amber! Not only do these crazy love birds LOVE all things coffee, but they love just about everything that comes with living on a mountain! Tyler is a private pilot whom enjoys cruising around in his Piper Tomahawk. When he's not working on his latte art or cloud jumping in his plane, Tyler can be found riding down the slopes of Mt. Hood on his snowboard! Amber is the general manager of Coffee House 26. Spending most of her time mastering coffee, coffee and more coffee, Amber enjoys meeting ALL of the people that walk through the coffee shop's doors. An avid Pittsburgh sports fan, Harry Potter fanatic and hiking enthusiast, Amber enjoys all of her time spent at home on the mountain. A writer and big reader, Amber enjoys chatting it up with customers on just about anything (Except Steeler losses :)

This is a great little coffee shop nestled in the hills of Mt Hood. A must-stop on your way up to the slopes on a fresh pow day, or a quick pit stop for a pick-me-up on the long drive home. You'll catch tons of locals hanging out as they already know this is the best place for a cup of joe in town. I love CoffeeHouse 26. My favorite drink is the Shot in the dark. Two shots of DELICIOUS espresso poured over the best Brewed Coffee around. So delicious! Staff in always happy. Food takes a minute as they are busy but they always hustle. Good attitudes all around. Always smiling. They sell coffee beans that they roast which I love to take home with me. My mocha was just right, not too strong and the beans were roasted perfectly. My sandwich,Turkey Bacon Ranch with Swiss on Sourdough, was delish, and very reasonably priced. A great little coffee shop with tasty drinks and good atmosphere. Very nice old country and western feel. The roast their own coffee and espresso which is fantastic. It is very smooth stuff and boy does it have a jolt to it. The barista was very helpful, she had to pull her shots twice to make sure I got good ones, which is rare and I appreciate the attention to detail. If you love coffee this is the place to stop. read more

Stopped in with my friend and was pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere and very inviting. Awesome service and GREAT coffee. They also have breakfast sandwiches and baked goods. Very cute place. Will be back again! read more

I got the chicken fried steak and one pancake with the marionberry compote (only available in season jun-aug) on top. This was probably one of the better Chicken fried steaks I've had. Its season well, crunchy, and it sits on a bed of peppery gravy. The potatoes are soft and the eggs were cooked perfectly over medium. The biscuit that came with was also soft and buttery. If you're a CFS lover, I highly recommend this one. The pancake was for the table and we all agreed the marionberry was the star of the show! So sweet and citrisy! The pancake was golden crispy with a fluffy center and had a delicious vanilla note. It was a great place to fuel ourselves for the road while reminiscing on an epic girls weekend!

It's fairly easy to access and it's a drive up window only I believe. Although when I drove by the 1st time there were cars there when I went there weren't and so it was an easy pull up. The gal at the window was ridiculously nice. I told her I wanted sugar free and since it was my 1st time asked what she wanted to make. I definitely wanted Coffee for this go around although she does have chai, various teas, energy drinks including that Lotus brand that is so popular right now. She will even add CBD to your drink if that's your jam. I told her I needed sugar free and she said she completely understood because she drinks sugar free as well so she buys quite a bit of it which led me to believe that she's the owner. I ordered my drink the way that I do at every other coffee stand and I was extraordinarily pleasantly surprised that she understood the way that I ordered it and the price that came along with it. I'm sort of known for being rather particular with my coffee lol she had ultimate patience with me. She let me try it before I left and then we modified it a little bit thereafter. She said well once we have it down the 1st time then we'll know for the future and she is so right. Barista's often forget that they have a unique manner that they can serve the customer. This one did not disappoint. If you're in the area I would recommend supporting this business. Clearly a small business just wanting to live her dream. A creative license plate sign inside sitting on a window ledge was really the only item that caught my attention. The space was gringey and dirty, the donut case was small and lacking variety. The glass was difficult to see through. The employees were just as boring and lacked a single smile or personality. Looking around for a napkin I see a small table as you walk out with napkins and a water dispenser that screamed to me "don't drink it" Cool town though.
