    Many selections!

Quick stop before our hike on Saturday! We are staying in the airBnB near Sandy and found the famous donut shop in town, Joe's donut There was a line when we got there Saturday morning but they were quick to serve so we didn't really have to wait for a long time. Our whole family enjoyed their donuts and especially kids loved it! I liked how they decorated outside and inside! Everyone in town knows where Joe's donut is located.

Delish!! There is a good variety of donuts to choose from, even cronuts! The service is very quick and polite. I ordered and got everything bagged up in less than 5 minutes, even with the afternoon rush line outside the door. This is a cute quiet mom and pop shop. The parking is small so be prepared to walk. :)

It's a Sandy area must go! Small little shop doing what they do best, donuts. The simple cake donut was not my favorite I have had, yet the fritters are high in my list. Try the blueberry- you will thank me later. Looking forward to trying more when in the area.

We stopped in today on our way Sunriver. They close at 5:00 and we got there at 4:52! The guy working there, possibly the owner, was super friendly. It's a really cute place and the donuts are phenomenal! We will definitely be by on our way home. ,

They're good donuts! And cheap too. I think what I appreciate most about Joe's is the "small town" store feel: it's got a unique look, they've been around for decades, employees are friendly without being over the top, they're fair about prices, they decorate for every holiday, etc. Pull off the road as you pass through Sandy, you probably won't regret one of these sweet treats to fuel you up before or after your Mt Hood activities.

Reasonably priced sweet pre-hike snack! Friendly staff and line moves fairly quick. A few tables to sit at inside but seems more like a grab and go type spot.

The locals and frequent travelers to Mt. Hood love this doughnut shop. There is always a line out the door. Lots of campers buy the doughnuts by the dozens, choosing several varieties. Prices are far better than those fancy doughnut shops in Portland. These are your basic doughnuts - cake and yeast - both are delicious. I got the Boston Cream, but I think they call it something different. It's a yeast doughnut with vanilla cream inside and the top is dipped in dark chocolate. It is very sweet so definitely get a cup of coffee to cut the richness. I prefer the basic cake doughnut. Either the plain, cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar. They are small, half the size of the others, but they are dense and filling. Look for the red and white checkerboard building as you drive through Sandy heading up to Mt. Hood.

Awesome little donut shop. Despite its huge reputation, it still manages to feel like a small town gem. As soon as you walk inside, it smells like pure sugar. A huge variety of flavors of donuts, and other options like coffee, sandwiches, etc. Reasonably priced for a small business. Only complaint is that the place is way too popular and there was a line nearly out the door - I didn't want to have to wait. And that's more a testament to the quality. There are a few tables and chairs inside, but we took ours to go and enjoy while walking.

Yummy, crispy and chewy at the same time, and oh so fresh. First time here. I'll be back, Joe.

Best maple bars around. Lines are usually really long in the winter with all the mountain travel so get there early or late.

Joe's has great donuts and fair prices. Worth the stop in Sandy on your way to ski or hike on Mt Hood.

There was nothing "wrong" but it just didn't fully do it for me (but you should try for yourself). Interior: it was clean, I didn't see anything wrong with inside. There are 2 main areas, the general seating area then the register is in a waiting for area with only 1 small bench, so you're standing there until they call your name. The kitchen looked nice. Food/Service: the woman at the register was helpful and helped create a box combination since it was my first time there. She was nice and seemed willing to help answer any questions/clarify, didn't make me feel like a bother for asking. Price: I don't mind the price, but I could see how others might think it's a bit expensive (21.90 total for 12 donuts and medium chai).

The side I chose were onion rings. They were big and delicious! They even let me choose my bottled drink. I chose a bottle of Coca-Cola. Cold and refreshing on a hot day. It was in the 90s°F outside. It was nice to dine in, with cold A/C. My daughter ordered the bacon cheeseburger with an extra beef patty. I could tell she loved her burger because she was quietly devouring it. They even let her select the type of cheese she wanted, from the cheese options they have. What-what?!? Who does that? They do! She selected the fries. We were pleasantly surprised that they were crinkle fries. And the portion was generous. They were crisp and delicious. For dessert we had donuts. Always really good! If we had enough room in our tummies, we would have ordered ice cream too. After her burger, fries, bottle of Diet Coke, and donut, my daughter had her fill. We were both in a food coma. In a good way! The service was good. There was plenty of seating. Large parking lot. Best of all free parking. If you love burgers, fries, onion rings, sodas, donuts, and ice cream, you must go to Angel's Donuts by the mall. They're open late too. We WILL be back.
