I stopped by here this past Saturday morning with my wife, our twins and our in laws for our morning coffees. We were headed from Rockland county into the Bronx and for some reason the 2 coffee shops we tried to stop at in Rockland County were closed. So I looked for a place right across the Cuomo bridge and was able to find coffee labs roasters in Tarrytown. So we headed on over and we're able to find parking on the street. The inside of the place was quite busy and I quickly got in line. Inside they had a display case full of pastries, a place to order your coffee as well as a ton of seating. For my coffee on this morning I ordered myself an Americano and my wife went with the same since we were at a coffee roastery. Then I decided to get us an everything croissant to split. The first thing that I tasted was the everything croissant and it was fantastic! There was ample everything seasoning on it, the croissant was flaky and the bottom had a thin layer of cream cheese on top of it on the inside which provided a nice creaminess to it. After that was done and I had let the americano cool down a bit I was able to taste it and I absolutely loved the espresso here. It had a rich flavor with a touch of natural sweetness on the finish which is my favorite type of coffee. After only being able to take about 5 or 6 sips, I ended up hitting my coffee into the side mirror of my car and losing it which made me sad. However, we stopped in Tarrytown on the way home later in the evening and I was able to get another americano which I was able to enjoy this time. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. While visiting Sleepy Hollow we went through Tarrytown and found Coffee Labs Roasters. Had some time to kill and needed some caffeine for the drive back to Long Island. Upon entering it had a welcoming cozy feel to it, what you would find in a small town. Decorated for Halloween and had some tables available. I was welcomed by the girl behind the counter and ordered a café latte. You could smell the freshness of the beans as they were grounded for my drink. Once completed, a nice design in the foam and it tasted great. We sat for a while and enjoyed the coffee. Their menu was on the wall and was extensive and also had some delightful snacks. Coffee labs roasters is a cute little coffee shop in Tarrytown. We go there once every few months to get their freshly roasted beans. They source them directly from suppliers in South America and Africa and roast them in house. They have several different varieties from various farms. We also get a cup of hot drip coffee when we get the beans because, of course. They have some pastries for purchase to go along with your coffee and everyone is so friendly! They roast coffee on site and sell merch and other local goods as well. Highly recommend. Bonus for having good quality plastic straws...seriously cannot emphasize this enough!! So impressed with their pumpkin lattes. I've had Starbucks, Peet's, and other small mom and pop pumpkin lattes and have been thoroughly unimpressed, but when the cashier asked if I wanted any suggestions and I enthusiastically said "yes!", he recommended the pumpkin latte. I was hesitant, given my previous experiences with pumpkin flavored lattes, but seriously was wowed by it. The place has a great ambiance, with brick on the wall and cute framed art. Lots of Halloween decor in October - super cute! Lines are long in weekend mornings, which is to be expected because of how delicious their drinks are. I tried the pumpkin spice special and it was better than Starbucks. I don't know where they get their pastries from but they are nice sized especially on the go. We had ordered an order of vegan food that they are doing with some vegan businesses to help them stay afloat during the pandemic and we were impressed with the way everything was professionally done and the friendliness of the staff. I love to see small business supporting other small business ! That's what it is all about! I had to try a cup of their coffee to show some support for them as well and I have to say the BEST cup I've had in a long time. It was strong but not on the bitter side and they had a large variety of non dairy options! Hands down the best coffee shop I've ever been to. I live 2 minutes up the street so I have become a regular of this sweet spot. The baristas are extremely hard working and every single person who makes the coffee makes it taste exactly the same. When I take my first sip it is pure bliss and I have to admit, it has become one of the things I look forward to in the morning. I sincerely hope they are there for many more years to come. They also sell baked goods from various businesses, one of which is called Gone Pie and I am obsessed with their muffins, loafs and other treats. I came here with my girlfriends after a ridiculously hard run (for me) on the Old Aqueduct Trail in Tarrytown. We took a walk to Coffee Labs for some carbs and caffeine. I had a nice mellow hot Chai that was very tasty, along with a buttered bagel. They don't toast the breads for you so I probably wouldn't get anything but beverages from here. I believe you can purchase coffee growlers and beans from them as well. The shop is small and tends to have a big queue and empty out just as quickly. Minimum to use a CC is $10. They have a Matcha tea that looked tempting but since I was also nursing a hangover and did a hard run, I decided to keep it simple. I'm a coffee snob. I spent two years in Seattle and it's hard to find any shops that fit my standards. I heard this place is good, but I was skeptical. I gave them a test and ordered just a cold brew, it's the equivalent of ordering just a plain pizza slice to see if the shop is any good. The cold brew was perfect. I needed to come back. Today I tried their CBD vanilla latte, and it's also perfect. I trust them with my coffee, next time I want to try their lavender special. If you want good coffee try this place. It does get a little crowded inside, but with so many places around I like to just walk around outside anyway. Overhyped and overpriced. 4/5 for service but .5/5 for the product. Just like previous reviews mentioned, everyone working here was very kind. I got 3 basic, common items that are usually hard to mess up at any coffee shop - black coffee, a hot chocolate, and a chocolate chip cookie. The black coffee tasted like it had been burnt at some point during the process. The hot chocolate just tasted like a steamed hot milk with a slight chocolatey taste. Prepackaged Chips Ahoy cookies are better than theirs. All of this for around $15. read more

I look for the deep, the thick and luxurious hot cocoa/chocolate and Coffee Labs, fell short. Their hot cocoa is weak...and it wasn't a symphony of notes going down my throat-the way I wanted it to be! Their hot cocoa, is made with 'Ghirardelli' chocolate' syrup- which added absolutely no quality. Coffee Labs Roasters specialize as their namesake shop. To their defense, they are a local coffee shop working closely with direct trade, coffee farms. But before I take this to the finish line, Coffee Labs came through as a cool café. The low rating, will be for the poor hot cocoa and sure, that for all you coffee drinkers, you may enjoy this place. As for me, the quest continues. read more
