Coffee Labs has the best coffee in Westchester, no question. But what really sets them apart is the customer service--they accommodated me right at closing, and I'm so grateful. Lauren and Dan are the realest!

If only this spot was bigger! It's a great addition to the neighborhood. Theres a large coffee and beverage menu - a little hard to read, but not impossible. There are also a million baked goods right at the cashier, which could be overlooked. (Catch a glimpse before you stand in the inevitably long line.) (The line moves quickly!) The team working here was cheerful though not in an obnoxious way. It's actually quite uplifting! Don't miss the sweet outdoor area, which is to the side of the building. Lots more seating there. Extra CBD shot for $2.

One of these are 15 and the other 35. It's a scavenger hunt to figure out which is which.

Do you know how in TV shows, commercials or movies there is a generalization of a person that works in a coffee house that is condescending, ditzy, or pompously annoying for a cheap and easy laugh. Well, in this place it is not a for a cheap and easy laugh. It's reality. Brewed coffee and drinks are good but that's about it. Pastries are limited and often stale and coffee by the bag can range from $15-$45 per bag and are randomly placed on a shelf with no rhyme or reason or way to determine which is which. Do you know the difference between a $15 bag of coffee and a $45 bag of coffee? One is for every day drinking and one is for special occasions that you want to brew more carefully. I can easily explain which coffees are best suited for what you are looking for but I don't work there and the people that do don't know the difference or even care to learn so they will will condescendingly point to a menu that has the smallest print explaining the difference. Then it's a scavenger hunt to find the one you want somewhere in the store and it might not even be in stock. This is the second location and it seems the owners really only stop in to take pictures and post them on social media, but they really only care about the other location and let the mentally unstable run the asylum at this place.

Refreshing. Coffee was good. I got a latte with macadamia milk. Pretty tasty. Small shop with the cutest bathroom!

Stopped by Saturday morning craving a matcha and they delivered! First off this place is so cute, I can't wait to come by in the summer and sit outside for a while . The staff is sooooo nice and welcoming. At the counter you're able to see all their yummy pastries, I had a chocolate croissant and it was perfectly balanced between sweet and savory. The matcha was made perfectly, I'm on my way back as I write this review !

I used to frequent a place in the city about 12 years ago that made their drip coffee with Coffee labs- that's how I was introduced to them. Loved it since then so whenever I found myself in Tarrytown I always went. So imagine my excitement when I heard they were opening up a location closer to my home! It's an absolutely beautiful location- I think they have the prettiest bathroom of all coffee shops in the area. I've been twice now since they opened, and each time have gotten a vanilla latte with lavender syrup and a bag of beans for the weekend. The lavender syrup is not overpowering like others I've had, subtle and tasty. I hope it stays on the menu. Place is clean, bright and welcoming, service is friendly and efficient. Not as big as their original location, but it's comfortable. A welcome addition to the area for sure.

Unfortunately, the temperature was terrible. Although their AC unit showed 65 on it, it felt more like 90 degrees! I came with 3 other colleagues for brunch and we ordered a variety of items. We started with the Mediterranean Platter which had toasted pita bread with 3 spreads. The baba ganoush and spicy feta were delicious but the hummus with pickled onions fell short. Hummus was plain and the pickled onions were too sweet. Main dishes ordered were: Pelican Brief Burger: good solid burger but I ordered it medium and received well done which was disappointing. Fries were good but nothing spectacular. Filet (Oh) Fish: good nothing special The Pelican Platter: The presentation was impressive was the taste and texture was subpar. The texture was more dense than I would like and it crumbled like a cornbread. The size is huge and thick but unfortunately, I wouldn't order this again. The Pelican Platter: We sub the French Toast for the pancake. The French Toast was a better choice. Tasted good and the texture was nice. Both platters came with a small side of fresh strawberry, maple syrup, whipped cream, and strawberry jam. You also get two eggs, bacons, and tater tots. Although the menu says old bay tater tots, it came plain. However, it was perfectly fried and crunchy so I didn't mind not having the old bay seasoning. Drinks: Strawberry Matcha, Jasmine iced tea and houjicha. All the drinks were okay and none of them stood out. Overall, I am glad I tried it out but I would give it a 3.5/5.

Our server asked how "done" we wanted our burger and salmon ("medium") but when the salmon arrived it was very rare. This has happened before here -- it took a long time for my properly cooked fish to arrive, and everyone else at our table had finished their meals. Fortunately, that didn't happen tonight, and my properly cooked fish arrived fairly fast. When a restaurant knows how to execute a fine dining experience, the guest is able to enjoy their time and their company. When it doesn't (when the staff looks and acts scared, doesn't bring water when it is requested, doesn't pay proper attention to its guests, doesn't bring properly cooked food...), the experience is tense and unenjoyable. That unfortunately was the case for us tonight. Also, the music played used to be so much more enjoyable. Lately it sounds gyrating and annoying.

Slave to the Grind absolutely saved the day!…read more It was a beautiful but SCORCHING hot day, and we were walking around Bronxville when a friend went inside and ordered me a lemonade. Let me tell you--that lemonade HIT THE SPOT! It was cold, refreshing, perfectly quenching, and exactly what I needed after walking around in that heat. I do want to be fair and say that I wasn't able to go inside or really experience the ambiance, so this is honestly a 5-star review of their lemonade more than anything else! I stayed outside with my friend's dog while they went in to order. That said, just looking through the window, I could tell Slave to the Grind has that special neighborhood coffee-shop feel. It looked small, cozy, and friendly, and it seemed like they really cater to the local community. From what I could see, people appeared to know each other and interact on a first-name basis, which I thought was very cool. It gave off the feeling of one of those neighborhood spots where the regulars are truly regulars. I'll definitely have to come back when I can actually go inside, grab something to eat or drink, sit for a while, and experience the place properly. But for today? That lemonade gets FIVE STARS from me!

Nestled in the quaint and friendly town of Bronxville lies Slave To The Grind, a coffee shop that…read moreis nowhere near as pretentious as it's neighboring shops and customer service focused beyond belief. The shop is small and regularly has a line (which some might tend to get annoyed about but...) -it's because the coffee is THAT good. The cafe has a few tables in the front area, a few more in the back of the shop and some quality bar seating throughout making it a place to chill with friends or do some homework/meetings on your remote days. The quality of the coffee at Slave has never let me down, from buying beans by the pound from an abundant variety to the fresh brews that also have quite an impressive variety each day, the place is tailored to coffee addicts. Similar to the "other" coffee shops, these baristas can make your very specific coffee drink and it will be right on and delicious. They know their coffee at Slave To The Grind. If you get the chance, try some of their incredible pastry selection, especially the scones. You will never leave disappointed after consuming one of those British belly bombs, designed perfectly to be consumed with a hot cup O' Joe, served with a smile. Some folks have rated Slave below 5 stars but, that is likely because they are cranky, wannabe-coffee-aficionados who believe all coffee shops cannot turn over their inventory without having to provide "sell by" dates and paint pretty pictures all over the bean dispensers so they are entertained. They probably judge books by their covers and walk their cats around on leashes too... You be the judge! Try it and you'll see exactly how wrong they are to give Slave To The Grind anything but 5 stars. Delicious coffee, great service, warm atmosphere and solid eats to top it all off. Don't listen to the noise - listen to your own review. You'll love it a latte! I promise.

We almost didn't order the cinnamon agave latte because we thought it might be too cinnamon forward or too sweet. It was neither. It was ridiculously well balanced and honestly delightful. I don't even normally drink coffee and still ended up stealing quite a few sips of my boyfriend's. My hot lavender matcha with oat milk was just as good. Lavender matcha can go wrong quickly, either too sharp, too floral, or too sweet. This one started with a little sweetness and mellowed beautifully as I drank it. Really well done.
