Drank and went here today for breakfast on a really cold Monday morning to begin and start my first day as a temporary substitute paraprofessional at P.S. 234 Q that I had gotten hot chocolate. It was definitely hot and ready. The service there was also attentive, pleasant and super quick. Finally, I would definitely come back again next time.

Coffee Pot is grab and go with a few seats and better if you are in a rush. I don't think they the best coffee shop in Astoria by far, but they offer the essentials when you are on the way to work or returning home late. They are very hit or miss for me!1

I've been deciding on coming here for a while now after seeing people in long lines sometimes for coffee here. I finally came this weekend and it did not disappoint! I got the greek fredo and asked for slightly less sweet and have to say it was exactly how I wanted it. It's flavorful and strong with the espresso flavor coming out strong and the foam at top is just enough milk I would want. I don't think a lot of the chains can beat this place when it comes to the foam - it's not heavy as you would expect. I will probably come here often in my way to the park now.

Oh hello to my new coffee spot! Don't let the bodega exterior fool you, the baristas know what they're doing and it's way cheaper than anywhere else. A large iced soy latte for $4.99, a whopping $2 less than what I'd spend at Starbucks and 100x better quality. Excellent.

I love this place. Their coffees are delicious, strong and affordable. They have a moderate assortment of Greek specialties consisting of spinach pie, cheese pie, olive bread, potato cheese pie and a few other imported chocolate delicacies which you only find in international stores. The staff is quick and friendly making your morning coffee experience painless and efficient.

Cute convenience store with a deli and amazing cappuccinos and coffee at this place! Love the Greek freddo as well! They have a wild selection of ice cream cartons as well.. like every single Ben and Jerry's flavor !! Great neighborhood addition!

I went to the coffee pot before an hour the place closes. I really wanted to get affigato and the person working said he cleaned the machine and won't be making anymore for the night. I was sad and brought two more people to try it and so he made it. Thank you so much for making it so my friends can try it since we drove more than 30 mins to get it. This is my favorite coffee spot!

Amazing sandwich that hit the spot. The BLT came with the obvious bacon, lettuce, tomato. Plus cheddar cheese and a fried egg (which I swapped out for a runny over easy egg). It was huge! The iced espresso was a bit sweeter than I expected but still very good. Also it just looked aesthetically pleasing haha.

    Iced Chai Latte

My favorite coffee spot in Astoria by far anddd it's a plus that it's right down the block from me. Coffee is always amazing and so is the chai tea latte definitely recommend

Its possible to share a sandwich with a friend. My favorite is the da bomb or pastrami. I love dipping mine in Italian dressing.... Service is great! Located in the Astoria part of NYC. You might have to wait but its worth it!! They don't take plastic!!! You need cash!! Oh yeah no place to sit ..so take it the park.. so after you eat you can take a stroll and not feel guilty!

Cut in 4 Here's the deal. The service is very professional. Takes a minute because they're extremely busy if you visit during the lunch hours. If you're a foodie and enjoy the view of fresh meats, cheeses, salads, breads, and sandwiches being made fresh..... then the ambiance was bliss. The fact it was in a common neighborhood made it even more enjoyable of a visit! Now to the sandwich..This sandwich itself DEFINITELY lives up to the hype! It really is the REAL DEAL!! Maybe they should change the name to "Da Bomb", because it's that's good! However, through no fault of anyone, this is the learning experience I take back for my next visit: 1) Extra lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot peppers. Potato Salad IF extra hot peppers! 2) Bring reusable containers for your sandwich, especially if you're not going home/ hotel right away. Next visit, which will be my next visit to NYC, I intend to try the roast beef and turkey hero, extra lettuce, tomatoes, onions, hot peppers. Overall, I still rate 5/5. They do a fantastic job here. Service is awesome, food is fresh, and the amount of food they offer for the price is well worth it. Definitely worth visiting again and again!!

So when he mentioned how his burger was the most popular item, I definitely had to give it a shot - $8.75 for a no frills 8oz Angus burger with American cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce (I believe I saw pickle was available, but didn't get it). What I got was the 8oz of meat, but it was on a gorgeous brioche bun, with 2 slices of beefsteak tomato and really fresh lettuce. The red onions were meticulouslu cooked down in garlic butter on his griddle, and the burger patty (100% fresh, by the way) was cooked on grill using wood chip-fueled fire. Like I said, the guy really cares about his food. The meat was cooked to order, and all of the ingredients (bun, produce) were from LOCAL SHOPS freshly delivered every morning, so no unfresh ingredients. He dared me to eat this burger and come back to tell him it's not the best in the area, and I think he has an argument. So if you want to get a really good burger, all while supporting a 1-man show who supports Astoria's local businesses, stop by! This place is a great addition to the neighborhood, and I can't wait to try the rest of his sandwiches.
