The combo is great, there was no need to add ketchup or hot sauce, it was seasoned and merry well together as is. Iced mocha - most mocha elsewhere taste watered down by the amount of milk it is diluted with. Didn't know what to expect when my friend suggested this spot and when I looked up food/drink options, I was very curious and tried a couple of things. It's a cute little coffee spot in Astoria and has a cool casual seating area outside great for meeting up with friends. They also have WiFi too if you want to do work here. And the service was good too, the lady was super sweet, welcoming and helped me out with food options when I was trying to figure what to order. I got the Mixed Berry Smoothie, Chicken Empanada and the B.E.C.A (which has bacon, eggs, cheese and avocado). These all were super delicious and I'd definitely get it again if I could. Decided on the Iced Latte ($5ish) and the B.E.C.A ($10ish). Coffee comes out first - good flavor and not overly bitter, no sugar necessary. Sandwich is a layered combination of eggs, bacon, cheddar, and avocado. Eggs are balanced well with the melted cheese, avocado is ripe, and the bacon thick cut. I went on a Saturday around noon and I loved it so much !! The staff was incredibly kind and efficient considering how busy it was. I got a bacon, egg, cheese and avocado sandwich with a dirty chai. The ambiance was incredible! There were jazz musicians outside and there was plenty of outdoor seating. I sat and enjoyed my food while listening to jazz, it was magical! This is an amazing coffee shop! It's small inside, but outside there's a spot to sit and read a book and have a coffee. It is a short trek from the 30th Avenue station, and the service is stellar. I ordered a coffee made of mushrooms and also had a cappuccino with oatmilk (yes, fancy, I know!). There is outdoor seating next to the highway, and it's breezy. I've been on a little mission, to try all the coffee shops in Astoria. I always go to the same place, so I made it a goal to try a new one every week. This was my first new place to visit. I really loved the coffee. I got an ice latte with pumpkin spice. It was delicious. It is a lot smaller than what I expected, but they do have a large outdoor set up which I'm sure would be beautiful to sip ice coffee in during the spring/summer. Friendly staff, and great coffee. Think I found my new favorite spot! I stumbled across this gem while walking back from Astoria park. The outdoor seating area artwork is what caught my eye. So happy this little cafe opened (last Thursday)! It's right by the Triborough Bridge dog run and the perfect alternative to nearby Dunkin and Starbucks. Popped in today for some iced coffee and was greeted warmly by the staff (all wearing masks). The inside is intimate but well decorated, with just enough room for a couple window-facing bar seats. Also had two small tables outside for outdoor dining. Coffee tasted great and prices even better. Ordered the regular latte and rose latte, came here because of all the hyped 5star reviews. This is the most burnt diluted latte I have ever had. This was made so poorly and costed $5-6 each? Im sorry but I used to be a barista and never in my life have I tasted expresso like this... This tastes more like leftover drip coffee burning from all day, you find at a deli. Very disappointed.
