I had a recent experience with Parva that really stood out to me. An order I placed came out incorrectly, but what impressed me most was how they handled it. The staff member who called me was honest, direct, and took responsibility right away. Shortly after, the owner himself came personally to my pharmacy to replace the items at no cost. That level of accountability and professionalism is something you don't see often. It really speaks to the kind of business they run and the respect they have for their customers. Parva Bakeshop is just not it quite frankly. First I don't know how they package food for delivery but to have the coffee spilled absolutely everywhere with just one Saran Wrap on it is a bit ridiculous. Second the empanadas did not taste fresh & instead tasted as if it was frozen & reheated quite frankly. Third, the empanada itself wasn't great. The meat tasted old & yes a generous amount of meat was given & this place is inexpensive but why spend any money if the food is simply not good. Just food for thought. read more

Unfortunately I can not speak to the ambiance at this location since I ordered food to be delivered to my job. However, they fulfilled the order quickly and the food is pretty good and flavorful. I got the smokehouse BBQ chicken which contains grilled chicken breast, coleslaw, crispy onions, and BBQ sauce. The sandwich was definitely filling and had really good taste. I have had this place bookmarked for a few months and was able to check it out yesterday. It is very small and it was packed, even on a rainy Thursday afternoon. The tables were full! I was greeted quickly but because it was so packed, I ordered quickly. Completely not their fault, just felt like I had to. I tried the chocolate croissant and Dulce de leche roll. I LOVED the Dulce de leche. It had so much layers and each layer was full of cinnamon flavor. The place was clean and cute. Not many displays. Lovely little spot for a coffee. Or to do your laundry. It's a coffeeshop connected to a laundromat but don't let that fool you, it's actually good coffee and a nice place to sit for a bit. I rolled (and am still currently rolling in typing this review frantically) in around 9 AM to get some work done, ordered a medium coffee and a multigrain sandwich (about $13 total), and was pleasantly surprised by how quick and efficient the staff was. The coffee had this smoky, roasted flavor that made me pause and go, "Wait, this is good." The multigrain sandwich was great too and I loved the avocado. The coolest thing about Parva, though, is that it's connected to a laundromat. Yup, you can sip your coffee, nibble on a sandwich, and watch someone fold their socks in the corner. It's strangely charming and makes the space feel both practical and quirky. I love getting pandebono from here. They're always so fresh. I think the last time I got some they have a promo where you buy two and it's slightly cheaper. I also really enjoy their coffee (their small size is pretty small though FYI). In the summertime, I enjoy their Matcha latte . There's a laundromat connected to the store so very convenient if you actually use that place to do your laundry. read more

I only tried the triple chocolate croissant. The outside of the chocolate croissant looked like it had chocolate strips. Unfortunately it is not chocolate strips, it burned bread. The inside had some chocolate that seemed to be off, the filling on the inside might have been 20% chocolate mixed with hazelnut and something else. Parva is a nice little spot to stop by and grab coffee or a quick bite. I was in the area and found myself forgetting about a work meeting that I had to be in. So I was able to get a coffee and set myself up with my laptop at a table. They did have a sign stating that,during busier business times such as lunch hour, they have a 30-40 minute time limit at any table. The reason for this is because the establishment is small-ish, with only 3 tables (but also 2-3 high top tables, by the windows) The service is great, the workers were courteous and friendly. I ended up also grabbing a Chicken Cobb Salad to go; it had grilled chicken, boiled egg, cherry tomatoes, feta, cranberries on a bed of arugula with poppyseed citrus dressing. It was a regular pre-made salad, nothing to rave about but still nutritious. I would say, though I have not had them, they seem to have a lot of homemade cakes and pastries and lots of sandwich options, which I would love to maybe try next time. Overall, a nice spot. A little on the expensive side but worth it, I suppose. read more

Parva is a pretty decent spot to grab a bite and a coffee. It is a bit strange that the coffee shop is connected directly to a laundromat. Not like... just the same building, but you can just walk between both businesses without even going outside. Makes for a kinda weird atmosphere. I've been hearing about Parva for a while, and I stopped by recently to check out their famous dulce de leche croissant. Unfortunately, they were sold out and apparently tend to sell out early in the day, so I will have to head there earlier next time. I decided to get a few other options to share with my husband and brother, and I went with the banana pudding, the kitchen sink cookie, and the matcha croissant. All three were pretty amazing. I generally don't love overly sweet pastries and desserts, and the banana pudding and cookie pushed my limits, but they were so delicious that I kept going back for another bite. The matcha croissant was amazing. I actually would've preferred it without the additional icing, but I can see why others would like that added touch. I look forward to revisiting again soon and trying the dulce de leche croissant and some of their more savory items. The woman at the register was so nice and gave me a couple of samples of cake. They have an extensive menu for a bakery, which includes gluten-free and vegan options and health-conscious items (whole wheat, baked vs. fried, and air-fried options). I ordered the Parva Torta from the specials board and a baked adobo chicken empanada. The torta is an air-fried chicken breast, provolone, smashed avocado, pickled onions, and tomato, served on a sourdough roll. The sandwich was made to order and took about 12 minutes to come out. If you are in a rush, you may want to skip this menu item. I took my items to-go and ate them at home. The torta was still hot and packed with ingredients that all blended nicely together, it ate a bit sloppily, but that is the case with most tortas. The empanada was good, although the adobo chicken filling was slightly dry. I will definitely be returning to Parva and am looking forward to trying the other items on their menu. read more

I like this place a lot and order from here a few times a month. The breakfast bagels are pretty solid (wish there was an option to add lettuce and tomato though), I like the everything with turkey and an extra egg. The dulce de leche cinnamon roll is soooo good! One of the best I think I've ever had. The empanadas can be a bit dry sometimes but I think if they were fresher they would be really good as the meat inside all 3 of the meat ones have very good flavor. On an early Saturday morning I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and try coffee that isn't Starbucks, you know support a local business. I like my coffee and I like it dark and bitter. So the cafe opened early and clean inside. Several pastries were out but it did not smell like a bakery and it did not smell like coffee, not sure why. I got my coffee and was thoroughly disappointed at the cup, the lid, and the price. $4 for plain coffee is outrageous and believe me I don't mind spending money on nonsense. The lady at the front greeted me and was kind, same for the other person working there. Coffee itself was close to what I'm looking for but like most "medium" blends it was more sour than bitter. This place has become my favorite GrubHub order. I love their classic bacon and cheese on their A+ bagels (they're so freaking good. Perfectly crusty yet not too dense and flavorful) it's been my go-to but recently I've started ordering their baked goods. Their dulce de leches cinnamon roll is amazing. I love that it's made from a croissant dough (if I'm not mistaken). I froze it just so I wouldn't devour the whole thing at once but i was craving it so much a couple hours later that I did end up devouring it while it was still frozen. I also got their breakfast burrito which was also great (I just wish the chorizo itself was cooked longer or maybe crumblier) the size, the amount of eggs and breakfast potatoes is very generous but it needed more cheese. It's a healthier breakfast burrito for sure with spinach layered in between the tortilla. I'd still order it again. SKIP THE DINER, breakfast at Parva is the way to go. Cute, clean, delicious Ordered iced rose-mora and a chai tea latte, both delicious. You can't go wrong with any breakfast item honestly, they all look amazing. The egg white sandwich in particular is one of the best breakfast sandwiches I ever had sans any processed meat yet still tasted super filling and flavorful. The entire menu seems to be on the 'healthier' side and it's totally welcoming in the neighborhood that only had the signature bacon, egg, and cheese for so long. Def want to try more items in the future. Staff is really kind and energetic and you feel good starting your day here. It was gorgeous outside today, and I just walked the entire open streets. And I was so happy to visit this morning and grab some lunch quickly, because I had found a spot to park outside. When I walked in around 11 am, it was busy. I was surprised since it was not the lovely lady who I came in to see last time in a cheerful mood. It another gentleman who took my order who seemed annoyed that I asked to use the bathroom, and he requested that I buy something first. Hearing this, I went and ordered a passion fruit danish and a passion fruit chia pudding. Both of these items were great, but I believed the service to be a lot better in the past, because I waited about twenty minutes to order my food. I wished there was a key for customers to use the bathroom, so I could use it and then grab our food to go. I feel using the bathroom is a human right, and I don't understand why I wasn't treated with empathy, but I would like to. I am just left at a loss of words. read more

I love this place so much that i've been gatekeeping it out of fear that it might become too popular. The food here is absolutely delicious and I really like how they put a Colombian twist on most items. Why get a regular cinnamon roll when you can get a dulce de leche cinnamon roll? How do you kick up a regular B.E.C? Why don't you make the eggs perico eggs and drizzle on the most addicting salsa verde. Tired of the same old empanada sold at every other spot? Well, why don't you try the baked pork al pastor empanada. Parva finds the best ways to elevate classics and they do it well. Every item that I've had from here has been delicious and filling and the service has been pleasant.
