Didn't realize this was a chain! The place was a very casual vibe, easy for anyone looking to spend long hours doing work here. We got the iced Chai Latte ($6.75) and the iced Bumble Bee ($7). The seasonal Bumble Bee was a regular latte with honey, so I personally thought it was a miss for costing more than the other drinks. However, the Chai Latte was delicious! It was my first time trying, given I was worried about the spice for the longest time, but if they all taste similar to the one here, I'm definitely ordering more. Came in the day after the 4th of July for a much needed recovery iced latte. I added hazelnut to my cold beverage, cause why not? 5 minutes into my latte and the world is starting to feel ok to live in again. Had a friend date for lunch. Coffee & sandwiches. I'm not a coffee drinker but decided to try a iced Caramel latte with whip cream which I know is usually very basic/popular/common for girls There is a backyard patio available but on such a nice warm day we decided to sit indoor. We were ready to show our vaccination cards but was never asked. Some guests walked in without mask and walked by our table as it was the closest to the entrance & ramp area. Sugar, straws, napkins & trash bin are located on the left side of the restaurant with a small faded (handwritten) sign to return all dishes to staff at the counter. They need to redo it and put another signage easily visible as I only noticed it when I went to toss out my used napkins. The latte was too weak in my friend's opinion so she ordered a double shot expresso later on. We both have great taste and ordered the same things: *2 caramel latte with whip cream *2 Oliver Twist sandwiches with Turkey ($3 extra) which came with house made chips The drinks came first which was how it was discovered it was weak so she went up to order the extra shot. Since I'm not a coffee drinker, I was okay with it and loaded up with more sugar and cinnamon. We had a lovely time chatting before our sandwiches came, without the turkey. So I had to return the sandwiches for them to add the turkey. Oliver Twist was delish and I highly recommend it with meat to be more fulfilling. The chips were perfectly crisp and seasoned. You get the creaminess of milk without any of the lactose, the slight sweetness from the syrup, the fragrant notes of chai, not to mention the little energy boost you get from the tea. Coffee Rx makes theirs to perfection, even creating the pretty gradient effect you get before the tea and the milk are fully mixed together. It's the little things, okay? I also tried their maple bourbon latte, which is a beautiful blend of bourbon, maple syrup, and coffee that serves as both a dessert and a vehicle for caffeine. It is a delicious drink. Their menu is full of seasonal drinks like a pumpkin spice latte, specialty drinks like a nutella latte or a rose latte, and classic drinks like macchiatos, red eyes, and even smoothies. Their indoor area is closed for patrons but they have a cute little backyard to enjoy your beverages at, and even provide WiFi so you can bring a laptop to work there on a nice day. Spacious study space with grey tables that are semi work friendly depending on where you're sitting. If you decide to sit at the communal table in front of the register, you will very likely have your legs hit the metal bar underneath and eventually look for a new spot if you're working with your laptop. As for the drinks, their tea selection has around 8 teas which they have on display as test tubes which is super cute and matches their theme. It's 2.50 for a cup of tea, and definitely would come back just to sample some of their teas since they have some great smelling ones. I also ordered a pumpkin spice latte, which was lacking in flavor and tasted like their syrup base. Missing spice and everything nice that is fall. Definitely nowhere close to starbuck's PSL or 12 corners'. Staff here are great, but if I had to choose a study spot I prefer cocoa's across the street for better tables and unlimited coffee. The interior design was pretty relaxing and gave off a "study here!" vibe so that was exactly what I did. While others studied for exams or whatever, I studied writing and reading Chinese and I never felt like I had to rush out after my drink. Also, the nutella latte is great. This is one of the best coffee shops in Bay Ridge. I've been living in the neighborhood for as long as the shop is opened and I really love their coffee selection. My all time favorite has been the Nutella Monster, with a personal request of soy milk, and the taste is always consistent. The shop is always clean, and they now have outdoor patio with wifi at your convenience. If you're looking for a comfortable space to do work, Coffee Rx would be it. There were a good number of seating and almost everyone there had a laptop in front of them. You would not feel pressured to leave because the staff were very chill about it, almost as if they expected you to stay and do work. It was a definite bonus that the place was super clean and well-kept. In terms of food and drinks, I got the Italian Flare Wrap and the Rose Latte... I hate to say this but I was not impressed. The chicken in the wrap was so plain and dry. It was torturous eating that wrap; I felt like I was on some intense weight-loss diet. Surprisingly, as plain as it was, the complimentary salad (fresh greens with balsamic vinaigrette) was very good. Perhaps, they should consider putting the salad into their wraps. As for the Rose Latte, it looked as fancy as it sound -- there were actually petals in the latte -- but it was SO SO SWEET. Great for people with a sweet tooth but for someone who never put sugar in her coffee, it was sickening. I tried but I couldn't drink more than half of it. It just got sweeter and sweeter. When I brought the cup back to the counter, the baristas saw that I barely touched the drink so they asked if anything was wrong with it (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE HERE!). After telling them that it was way too sweet for my liking, they offered to make me a new one. They didn't have to but that was incredibly kind. The second cup was a lot less sweeter than the first but it was still sweet nonetheless so if you're not a fan of sugary coffee drinks, avoid the Rose Latte at all costs. They do have a hand for latte art so I'm definitely coming back for a REGULAR latte (with no sugar). read more

Ordered a sandwich that said it came with side salad. Didn't get any salad. Waiter 1 said that's because he'd put the salad "on the sandwich". I said lettuce in a sandwich isn't the same as side salad. Waiter 2 rudely said "we don't have lettuce" (it was spinach on the sandwich -- fine). I politely reiterated that greens on a sandwich isn't side salad. I was hungry and I'd ordered this item on purpose, to get sandwich and salad both. I was brusquely given a handful more spinach, nothing else on it to make it a salad, and a container of balsamic vinegar. No oil. Just vinegar. It was gross and the accompanying service was off-putting. With a million choices in this area, I won't be back. read more
