The last few times coming to Prince Tea House, it's been great location to come for a meet up, for dessert/drinks. Their pros is that they open later than the other dessert places in the area. The place is relatively clean, they also have food which isn't the best, I did experience where the cake tasted a bit off, and once I notify the staff they gave me other options of changing to something else. Honestly prince tea house is never my go to. Just went too often in high school and college days and felt that it was just okay. I went again after a long time and was pleasantly surprised. It was pretty empty on a Thursday night and were pretty much the only table until another table showed up later. Menu is via a QR code not an actual menu book that they used to have. Menu is pretty much the usual stuff: pot of teas, desserts, appetizers and some sandwiches. We all ordered a sandwich and got the squid appetizer and two pots of tea. The service was just ok, it was one waiter and sometimes we really had to get his attention. Didn't give us any water in the beginning and we had to ask for some near the end. The environment is the usual Prince tea environment - cafe aesthetic, nice for getting together and catching up with friends. The food was kind of pricey... but Prince tea is usually kinda pricey. But honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of the food. The food all tasted pretty good. The katsu sandwich was really good, the squid appetizer good, the fries and salad not bad. The sukiyaki burger was just meh so I would recommend to skip. The two teas: lavendar milk tea and passion fruit tea were really good too. Overall: food was better than expected but pricey. I came here for dessert and saw they have new desserts on the menu that sounds good so I ordered it. I ordered pumpkin panna cotta, passion fruit mousse cake and raspberry Mousse chocolate cup. I love Prince Tea House! It's a lovely spot for a sweet treat. The interior of the cafe is pretty, and staff is very friendly. My husband got a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. I got a strawberry shortcake parfait. We both thoroughly enjoyed our desserts. I paired my dessert with hot earl grey milk tea which was delicious. The hot tea comes in the prettiest tea pot and cups it feels like you're having a tea party haha. They place the tea pot over a candle which keeps your tea nice and hot. Came here a few times with friends and this review is long overdue. First of all the staff are very friendly and helpful. They always check up on the teas and asks if you need anything else when the kitchen is closing. Their teas and snacks are absolutely my fave when I stop by here. My all time favorite tea would be the rose milk tea 30% sugar with the tea pot. It's not too sweet and very enjoyable with great company. I also love their sweet potato fries, it never disappoints and it's very tasty. 5/5~. Overall, the ambience is very soothing and you do feel very relaxed after doing in every time. This is the 3rd Prince Tea I have been to. So far this one is my 2nd favorite! If you are near sunset park do visit this place. It's just sooo beautiful. I went there on weekends and it was packed! So didn't stayed too long. The amount of time I was there I had a great time . I ordered shrimp lolypop, crepe cake & tea. Like always loved the shrimp lolypop & the tea was amazing! I had really great time. I did checked out the restroom because for any kind of hospitality business it's important, and to me it's more important because it shows how much care the owner has for their customers! All food come with salad and for $3 more you can swap the salad for fries. I got their passion fruit tea which was on the sweeter end but a helpful trick maybe to get their tea with 80-100% sweetness and ask for hot water on the side. We booked the venue for two private events and hosted our baby shower here (about 60 guests per party). The staff was amazing and was really accommodating to all our needs. The venue itself is already cute, so we didn't have to decorate too much. We brought minimal decor (our own vases/florals, banners, and some additional cupcakes/macarons for desserts). We had a F&B minimum and rental fee to book the venue and they worked with us on creating the buffet menu for our guests. The staff was attentive, respectful and was always updating us if more food was needed. We actually hosted two back to back events on the same day - and the staff was able to turnover the venue for the new party efficiently. Would recommend them for a private party! The afternoon tea set is always cute and delicious (love the scones/butter & jam)! Rose tea is my favorite. Chicken nuggets and fried squid tails are great too. This is a cute restaurant that sells amazing Asian inspired desserts. I came with a friend for their afternoon tea which is a three tiered meal for around $32 per person. I love how you get two different teas with your order. We chose the fruit tea which was divine and a jasmine matcha milk tea which was ok. You can ask to adjust the amount of sugar. They only run the afternoon tea from Friday to Sunday, for your information. They got the tiniest sandwiches (chicken salad, i think cucumber and herbed cream, lox on a piece of toast) and things to eat but it so tasty and filling. The scone was absolutely delectable and had the best consistency of like a pie crust with a good sprinkling of sugar. I like the clotted cream which I think is like spreadable cream which added a bit of umph to the scone. The staff were kind and patient. I came here to grab a light snack before a work shift last month. I ordered the American cheesecake. Shortly after eating I was wondering why the crust was so crunchy. Although my arm shorted itching, I figured it was my anxiety getting the best of me. To calm my nerves, I called the shop and asked what the crust ingredients were. They mentioned cookies and nuts and that was the end of my snack and I had to rush for my medication. I ordered the Thé du Hammam which is a black rose tea with some hot steamed milk on the side. I chose their chocolate lava cake for dessert which is made fresh to order. Tea was served on beautiful rose China made comes with a little heat lamp to keep it warm as you drink. The little teapot had at least 3 full cups in it and was brewed just right. I have been here multiple times with my family and my friends and it's a really nice bonding place where everywhere you go it's like a cute little get together type of vibe. The crêpe was nicely layered and flavorful and the Santa Fe chicken roll really stood out to me because it kinda tasted like a chipotle bowl but better inside of a roll. The service was good. Idk if it's the cozy night vibes or the calm music inside but it felt like the comfiest winter night. We ordered: Brown sugar bubble Mille crepe cake ($8.75) Jasmine Green Milk tea ($7.50) The milk tea came in their cute teapots and teacup set which is always so aesthetically pleasing. Great for pics! But WOW, the jasmine green tea taste is really strong in the milk tea. I loved that i could taste the tea and not overpowered by milk and sugar. I wish it was hotter though. It was only lukewarm-ish. The cake was okay, pretty standard creme cake. The fun part was pouring the boba and milk (?) foam. I completely failed though LOL. The whole night was just relaxing. Came here today with my friends, it was a Friday night and fairly empty surprisingly... there were booths available and we asked if we could be seated at the empty booths the rude lady with glasses and pony tail stated in a rude tone it's only for tables of 6 or more... honestly when you have multiple tables free ...EMPTY ..does it really matter if we are short one or two people? What's worst is that after we were seated and ordered we saw a smaller group get seated in the booth after us ....Had I not placed my order already I would have walked out... my friend ordered his drink with jelly and they provided the worlds thinnest straw... not sure what they expected him to do with the jelly in his peach tea (inhale it?)...the quality of the desserts declined significantly after their renovation the interior decor no longer represents a fairy tale story book design they painted the walls and the lighting just felt so dark and dungeony as opposed to what it used to look like... their taro crepe cake was definitely poorly made, the layers were uneven and thick, the tofu cheesecake was below average (I've tried this at several prince tea location and this was not up to par, the base which I assume is graham crackers finely milled was just randomly plopped on.. and the tiramisu was just average... several times while we were still eating...and there was still cake on the plate and we were still sitting there enjoying our meal they asked us if they could take it away we told them probably over the course of our meal about 3-4 times we are still working on our tea or our cake which you can clearly see one friend chewing and another about to dig their spoon in... like what gives, is there a time limit to the seating here?!?
