Everyone is quick to Complain about the 1990's Smoking room of this place. Have you tried Coffee time Lately? Our Office goes regularly to the Location at Wilson and Dufferin. I had not been to Coffee Time in 10 Years, One day I was tired of waiting in a long Line for Canada's Busiest Coffee shop saw the Coffee Time and walked over. Let's face it any coffee will be better than Hockey coffee. The location was that close. I ordered the bacon Egg Breakfast Bagel. It honestly Tasted like something I would Make at home The lady prepared my sandwich with 100% fresh Ingredients. Everything was prepared in the restaurant. I brought a Dozen Donuts back to the office and received high praise for the freshness and Taste. Plus the following day they did not look like nuclear waste like Hockey donuts do. I have not had a coffee yet, but 2 people in the office Love the Cappuccino. I have had the Coffee Chillers and they are tasty. Recently I went for soup and sandwich. The person working made the egg salad fresh in front of me. The Soup was really good. We really need competition in Toronto we seem content with frozen factory donuts and something called Flat pizza. Nothing on the Menu resembles a traditional Coffee shop. If I want a rice bowl I don't go to a coffee shop. Coffee shops are for soup sandwiches and donut's Pastries etc. Give them a try. read more

Coffee Time is the closest coffee shop to where I live, although it's not great for coffee (go figure), their Turkey Club on ciabatta is great! They usually have a good selection of donuts and most of the time, they are fresh. The people who frequent the place are a little odd, at the best of times, but once you get used to that, it's not a problem. The couple who run the store are lovely, extremely friendly and warm. They tried to set me up with their son, on a couple of occasions. Haha! They have computers and a printer, so if you're ever stuck, you can use the computer and printer for around $1 for 30 minutes. They also have an ATM but if you can help it, use the TD bank directly across the street to save you paying extra charges. Sometimes, I find the place can look dirty and they frequently have squirrels running around trying to get in at the patties. Otherwise, it's fine. read more

Let me preface by saying i don't drink coffee, but i walkby this place on my way to the station, and this convenient location lets me pop in for my morning breakfast. I used to do tim hortons and i cannot say how refreshing it is to look behind the counter and see an actual stove top with fry pans. I order a western on white every morning and ut's a delicious, hand cooked meal not a frozen "egg" patty full of preservatives. The store has a wonderful little lounge with comfy chairs that are nice to sit in when i don't have anywhere to be, and the employees are very kind and helpful, always delivering with a smile on their face. read more

I actually don't like Coffee Time. It's always so dingy and the people in there are questionable at times. Yet, it's the only thing open 24 hours that is in walking distance from my house. And they serve a huge cup of tea. Plus, it's easy to spot and a great meeting place for Craigslist/Kijiji purchases or sales. As much as I dog CT, this location is a regular for me. read more

I went to this Coffee Time for the first time last week. Not impressed at all. I asked a question regarding the soup and you would think I had asked for money! Not sure who the older, sweaty guy is, but he looked so frazzled and clearly is stressed out and not interested in being professional. The coffee was okay, nothing better than say McDonalds, which by the way, is a few blocks away. I went back a few days later and they were closed due to a flood! Would not recommend this place. Perhaps the staff should take lessons on dealing with us, the public, yes the people who keep you in a job!!!!! read more

Coffee - bad Food - bad Pastries - bad Customer Service - very bad Coffee Shop - very dirty Bathroom - very dirty Customers - looks like homeless people (not all, at least some I've seen that time I went there) We were visiting Toronto and ended up in this neighborhood because my mother-in-law is looking for the old place she lived in 40 years ago. Anyway, we don't know the neighborhood and I really, really needed to use the washroom for, ahem, feminine reasons. I ordered a small frapuccino, and used the washroom. When I entered, my God, it was so dirty, there was no toilet paper, I came out and told them there was no toilet paper so an older gentleman gave me one. So I went back, it was really hard for me to do what I had to do because everything is so fuXXing dirty. I tried to hang my purse on the door knob (yes, I know, it's dirty too, but maybe less than the floor and sink area) and tried to cover some surfaces with toilet paper. This of course, took a while. When I'm almost done, a lady was banging on my door so rudely and screaming stuff at me. I later found out that this lady works there, a younger asian lady. I can't believe how rude she was. I wouldn't have taken long if it wasn't for their dirty washroom. Oh by the way, it wasn't like the place is jam packed, there were just 2 sets of customers there at the time, my party (3 people) and another group of 3 people. I wrote a letter of complaint to Toronto Public Health, I really think this place should be closed. I don't think they would do anything about it though, so save yourself, steer clear of this place. I will never go back to this place I don't recommend this place at all I think they should be shut down. read more

First impression when walking in, it's very dirty! The bathroom was dirty and it had no toilet paper (thank god I had Kleenex in my purse) only go here if your desperate. I ordered a coffee and sandwich and the coffee was Luke warn and the end of the pot I got coffee grinds in my coffee and the sandwich was half fast made. I'd never eat here again. read more
