I love supporting locally owned businesses and Coffee Times Drive Thru is one of my faves!! Talk about addicting! Their smoothies are fabulous!!! The Acai Smoothie is my favorite. I also really like the Protein Power Pak, the Cacao Power Pak and the Strawberry Banana smoothies. I have had a frappe on occasion and those are very good as well, very rich. And I LOVE their pastries, especially the s'mores muffin. Vegan options abound. They rotate the pastry selection so there's different choices periodically. It's a breeze to pull into the parking lot and drive up to one of their two windows. They also have a walk-up window as well and plenty of parking spots in the lot. I feel like the prices are pretty fair. I don't know that I'd pay much more for a smoothie, so the price is just right at the moment. And certainly if you are just getting a cup of house coffee, that price is great. I do wish they'd offer some kind of "frequent flyer" reward system for repeat customers but I do understand that they reward everyone through good prices overall. I moved here from Seattle where there were more drive through coffee huts than pimples on a 16 year old video game enthusiast. Coming here reminded me of home! You drive into a gravel lot and order from a window. Drive through to the next window to pay and pick up your order. Very simple. They even have a walk-in window if you happen to be sauntering in the area. There are no seats or tables so this is not the kind of coffee shop where you settle in to study. Quick service, super friendly staff. I was in and out in under 5 minutes and I swear every single employee inside smiled at me. The chai tea latte had the perfect amount of spice and warmth. Lot of variety between your standard coffee, teas, and healthy smoothies. They even serve modest breakfast and lunch. Probably costs about the same as Starbucks. read more

I've been wanting to stop in for quite some time. Finally had time, money, and thirst! They have several coffee, smoothie, and frappe options, as well as breakfast and sandwich items. So, I'm already excited to go back to purchase breakfast or lunch. There were two cars ahead of us and several pulled in while we were there. There's a drive thru and walk up order window. We decided on the dirty chai frappe (espresso=dirty) and a Reese frappe. We both enjoyed our choices. It's a bit expensive; we spent about $14 for 2 32 ounce drinks. I absolutely love coffee times! Honestly, there isn't much I need to say to express how much I love this place. They offer a variety of different coffees, drinks, and some small bites. I have never had any of the small bites but all the coffee I've had is absolutely delicious! Lately I've been really digging their iced hazelnut lattes with oat milk. Something about coffee times that makes it stand out from other coffee shops is just how efficient they are with getting orders through. I have shown up with both windows having long lines, thinking to myself that I would have to be waiting for a long time. Nope! I don't know what they do in there, but I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes regardless of how long the line is. Especially after the pandemic, coffee times has truly been a blessing. Every now and then, I stumble upon a local business that genuinely makes me wish I had discovered it earlier. I think Coffee Times is now under that category. :-) I ordered the caramel frappe and it was delicious. No large chunks of ice at the end either--super smooth and tasty. We made our first visit yesterday. The service was quick, the rose-infused hot mocha decent, and the bites from Village Bakehouse yummy. The cashiers and baristas wore masks and gloves, and they are offering curbside service for customers who do not wish to wear a mask at the drive-up. I'd give them 5 stars if they had touchless card readers. We'll stop in again when we're next in the area. read more

Only been there once to try it out but it was super good. When I first pulled up there was long lines and one person zoomed out of line mad it seemed. I am a creature of habit in that I tend to order the same things time and time again. Boring, I know... but the good news is that I've tried the soy milk latte's at a large number of coffee shops here in town, and I can safely say that Coffee Times makes one of the best. I've never tried any of their food items, so I cannot comment on those. But I can vouch for many other aspects, and there is a lot to love about Coffee Times. Such as: It's local. They make yummy soy milk lattes (and mochas, as my daughters will attest to). Friendly baristas. I come here a lot, at all hours of the day/night, and I haven't encountered a grumpy one yet. Fast! There are two drive-up lines, and they move the line along quickly. There is a walk-up window as well. Accessible. Unlike the Starbucks on Broadway/Campbell, which is a total nightmare. The building. It reminds me of one of those old Photomat buildings. So funky - I love it! Cheap. They run daily specials, like 16 oz lattes for $2.75. Woohoo! Consistent. The baristas have been trained well, because my latte tastes the same every single time. This place is conveniently located for me, but when I'm in another part of town, I have been known to drive out of my way to come here. Coffee Times is worth it. read more

What is it with coffee places and attitudes? I went there today because I have driven past it 1020101 times and never stopped. Now I know why. OK, it's been there for 15 years - I guess that's what gives them the reason for their attitude. The whole : Holier-than-God attitude, you should beg us to serve you, and who are you that has not come forth before? I think that they are so used to their regulars that if someone new comes along that isn't quite sure how the whole thing works they get gawked at. This is what happened in my case. Some guy with no hair in his 40's (so it's known who the comments are directed towards) just dispensed as much attitude as he did my Classic Mocha Frappe. A 24oz frappe with whipped cream was over $5 - the quality leaves a lot to be desired and for that price it should be damn delicious. It bloody wasn't. I won't be going here again. So many businesses out there have lost respect for their customers and understanding that it is the customer that keeps them in business. read more

I specifically bypassed 2 Dutch Bros to go to Coffee Time so I can patronize a local business. Boy was I dismayed and disappointed when I got there. I'm sitting in my car and was asked to wear my mask. I'm in my car! The baristas is inside with a mask 6 feet away. I looked at her, I looked forward and came close to leaving. Reminds me of home, where we had little coffee shops like this on every other street. They've got a library of syrup flavors for all you latte fiends. My parter goes for the soy coconut lattes. The also serve bagels, wraps, and pastries. Plenty of vegan options. Bonus: if you're driving with a pup in the car, they'll give 'em a treat. Our gets giddy when we pull up now.
