Great coffee. They roast it every week. Fresh coffee every time. I like it because when I go to the local restaurants I can find it there :)

San Juan Batista, what a cute town with a delicious roaster and cafe. We received a bag of coffee…read moreas a gift from here and I was sad when it was all gone. So happy we finally paid a visit. My husband and I both got our regular vanilla lattes and I got a chorizo burrito while he ordered a regular breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious!! (Highly recommend, but you don't have to take my word for it.) We came back a couple weeks later and this time I got the Spellbound (i believe it's a cappuccino with briwn sugar). Their coffee is so smooth and has a nice body. I'm so happy we have a café to go to that's local and flavorful. (It might just take the lead on my Taylor Lane...)

They have: * breakfast items like avocado toast & breakfast burritos * salads * great sandwiches * wood-fired pizza * dessert pastries * A nice selection of micro-brew beers on tap Service is fast, and they're happy to explain the menu or recommend things. The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. There is indoor seating and a nice patio area (which is dog friendly). My favorite sandwich is the buratta - roasted cherry tomatoes, basil, pesto, and balsamic vinegar on a ciabatta roll. (I always split it with my dog.) By the way, the name is an homage to the classic Alfred Hitchcock film "Vertigo" (1958). The climactic scene in the movie was filmed at Mission San Juan Bautista.
