White mocha latte w/oatmilk, plus salted caramel. Tasted great. I said if they had raspberry syrup & added it to this: Snow White!

Interesting joint they've got here. Vendor out front selling their wares, a giant smoker their staff was managing that had wood fired pizzas, and an old rustic building. I feel bad we passed this place for our commute to Monterey or wherever without stopping by. This will become our regular stop on our way through. I ordered a White chocolate mocha latte w/oatmilk, plus salted caramel. Tasted great. I said if they had raspberry syrup & added it to this, they'd have themselves a Snow White! They apologized for not having that syrup in, but for some odd reason I had a hankering for one. I told the dude barista that the raspberry adds a hint of bitter to the intense sweet of the white chocolate to contrast the flavors, and note his interest is peaked! They have lots of seating, baked goods, fresh food, wine, and local goods. Definitely worth a stop by.

Iced matcha latte and an iced lavender latte.

A quaint little coffee shop for a quaint little town. San Juan Bautista is known for it's mission but this little gem has definitely made their presence known. With their cute little curb appeal of a floral decorated patio area equipped with a brick oven. You walk in and are met with the wonderful fragrance of coffee. Then you are welcomed by the barista's behind the counter. They offer a few items on their shelves from what seems like locals and small business owners. Anywhere from jams to beef jerky. We also noticed that a few of the art pieces that adorned the walls were for sale. I had their yummy iced lavender latte and my son had a iced matcha latte sweetened with some honey. We'll be back :-)

Cute coffee shop in the little town of San Juan Bautista! They roast their own coffee on site, kind of charming to see the roaster in the indoor dining area . They also have an assortment of pastries, bread and menu items as well as fermented teas and other yummy drinks. Barista was friendly and lastly, coffee was pretty good, americano with oat milk I guess the only thing I didn't like was the name of this place, Vertigo, ugh.

I am not from this area, and stumbled upon Vertigo Coffee. Upon entering, I realized there was an outdoors and indoors seating option. There are lights outdoors that would give the outside a lot of ambience if you come here after dark. I ordered the iced mocha coffee and really enjoyed the richness of the coffee and the slight sweetness of the mocha. The staff were very friendly and even opened the door for me! If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely come back with friends.

My cousin and I came here this morning and ordered avocado toast. This is what we got. Presentation wise this looks horrible. Also not to mention it is overly priced for what we received. The avocado toast I got was the one with the hummus, but are you kidding me? Look at the avocado pieces!!!! this isn't even considered half of a avocado and for $10? This is insane

A mandatory stop in San Juan Bautista -- friendly service, strong coffee, and cozy vibes! Vertigo also has a great selection of food, pastries, and coffee beans, which they roast in house. I ordered a breakfast burrito, which was savory and filling, but a bit soggy. Overall, a solid local coffee shop worth checking out next time you're in the area!

Came here with my family after the San Juan Bautista Run in January. It was the perfect place to get some hot drinks after a cold morning run. There was a bit of a line but over all it was well worth it.

    Cappuccino and vanilla late

Breakfast burrito was delicious and coffee was amazingly delicious! Definitely coming back

    Cappuccino and cinnamon cake. Delicious!

Great place to stop on your way to Monterey . Very friendly staff, delicious coffee and relaxed atmosphere with soft music playing in the patio. Cool they have named the place after the famous Hitchcock movie made in the same town.

Great code and fantastic service. The baked goods are fresh and tasty. Pricing is fair and there are lots of Knick knacks to shop for.

About 6 months ago I made a switch from the convenience of my Keurig to buying quality beans, grinding them myself and make proper Americanos instead of popping in a pod and pushing a button. I've done a lot of experiments with beans and so far I haven't found better beans than the beans I pick up from Tico Coffee Roasters. I really appreciate to have roasters of this quality in my neighborhood! Coffee is like wine, the better the quality is, the less you need. I used to go through 4-5 Keurig pods every day, but I'm plenty fulfilled by 1-2 cups of coffee made from Tico's beans. So even though it seems like I'm paying more for coffee with Tico, I'm not. I highly recommend you to try Tico's beans. They have amazing deals through Too Good To Go if you are looking for a deal to try it out.

I order a cappuccino and tried their coffee of the day: Sanger de Toro. To begin, the drip, tasted very smooth with a slight acidity, but not too much. The cappuccino with a base of Rialto had the bold, dark chocolate, and rich taste that was advertised, and the foam was fine to perfection. It's in an industrial area with car repair shops, so if you're in the area for that, it is definitely worth checking out; it is also worth a special trip for. The service was fast and friendly. And the ambiance was a coffee stand outside of a coffee brewing company

The are located in the same parking lot as the Country Inn right off of Saratoga Ave. When wifey and arrived there was plenty of parking. The inside of Moonwake is rather large for a coffee shop with plenty of seats and space, the outside has about 4-5 small "2 seat" tables. If you walk straight in "and keep walking" you will see their roasting room, that looks like a mad scientist lab with computers and beacons. It was pretty cool watching them proofing the coffee. I ordered a decaf iced Mocha with 1/2 & 1/2 and a Berry pistachio croissant, wifey ordered a regular coffee with room. Wifey's coffee had a delicate earthy flavor. "For said items $21.45" The Croissant was absolutely amazing, decadent, buttery, crispy, and chewy. Honestly it's the best one I've had short of Arsicault Bakery in San Francisco. Yeah man these are nearly that good! 5 stars for sure! The service was good and the employees were nice and helpful. Overall rating in my opinion, this place is solidly in the 4 star area. And I will be coming back for their croissants. :-D

They had some Fanime specials for the con (katsu and egg salad sandwiches, spam musubi), seasonal drinks, of course coffees and teas, and non caffeinated drinks, as well as some food too (heated up pastries, both sweet and savory). There's a restroom with a code and a couple seats and tables with outlets to charge your devices. Service was welcoming and efficient especially after the crowds started to pick up. I got the: 1) Egg Salad Sando: -You can tell these were handmade in store. They had cute washi tape to hold the packaging together. -Solid egg salad sandwich. Slightly sweet white bread and generous amount of egg salad inside the sandwich. Creamy mayo taste that isn't too sour or tart, lots of egg in it. Perfect for an anime con next door. 2) Cappuccino: -I got this no sugar and sugar free and it came out with some pretty latte art. I thought it was mostly ok and boyfriend thought so too, but after several sips and when it was too late since we really had to get to the con, it just became too disgustingly sweet for him and he had to throw it away. 3) Yuzu Fresh Fruit Sparkler: -Yuzu puree with sparkling soda water. -Refreshing and not bad, but even after mixing this was a bit sweeter than what I would have liked and again, in our rush to leave, we couldn't really get this adjusted. I ended up pouring most of it in a water bottle to enjoy later and put in my bag. But ended up not finishing it in the end. Maybe next year I'll try again or just stick to the food stuffs.
