I went to try this coffee place (To Go order). I got a iced Salted Caramel Latte with Oatmilk & an iced Honey Bee Latte, BOTH were absolutely disgusting,I payed about $22 (with tip), very pricey for two coffees so I was expecting them to be good. Both tasted like dirty water with ice and a very small hint of sweetness. I was very disappointed, my husband and I couldn't take more than a few sips and threw them away. The service was ok, I don't know if iced coffee is not their specialty but I have tried many coffee places and this one was the wrost.

Glad I took up her suggestion, cause it was a watering hole. The space is gorgeous! I love how airy and bright it is inside. It's such a calming place to work or catch up with others. I'd come to do so. They also have outdoor seating. I found the service to be okay, a bit passive, but oh well, I had minimal interactions. I ordered ahead and got the Iced Green Bee but substituted Oat Milk. My drink was ready when I got there. It was sweet and floral, thanks to the lavender. I enjoyed it and sipped it up! I am quite curious about their other drinks and foods. There is a nice variety of cafes in Santa Cruz. 11th Hour Coffee seems popular. Their downtown location is easy to find with metered parking out front.
Love the vibes, and really delicious coffee/matcha. Lots of seating inside (and in the back outside), and the interior's aesthetic really tickled our brain. It's rare that I love both the coffee (honeybee latte) and matcha (matcha + berries and cream), and would definitely frequent if I lived closer. Minus one star for the prices (it was $21 for 2 drinks, with oat milk sub), and the interior was not the most clean, saw some ants crawling and tables aren't turned over. Latte art could also use more practice.
Local coffee and breakfast/bakery shop serves delicious honey bee latte and tiramisu latte. Nice breakfast sandwich, chive biscuits. Outside patio!
Classic Santa Cruz coffee shop - the missus and I stopped by last weekend. We parked a block away and stood in a fast-moving queue to order drinks and an Earl Gray cookie to share, then sat on the side patio outdoors. The order took a few minutes. My hot matcha was good, and she seemed to like her iced maple syrup latte, then confessed that she could not taste any maple flavor! The cookie was tasty and crunchy but didn't taste like Earl Gray either!! Service was prompt, and bathrooms were adequate. Bill was over $20 before tip. Happy to check out other locations next time we're in Santa Cruz.
Cute local cafe! It gave off earthy bohemian and cozy rustic minimalistic vibes. Feels like a really nice spot to work out of, but they don't have a designated parking lot so it's all street parking. I got their salted caramel latte, which was topped with black salt. They also have a lot of pastries and food items. There was a little corner with all their merch as well. Very cool!

First timer... ordered a the Lox Bagel and a coffee to go. The interaction with the cashier was dry and almost rushed but I didn't think nothing of it. Unfortunately while waiting I over hear the man handling the food tell the cashier that there were no micro greens for the Lox Bagel she replied snappingly to him "omg add extra onions it's not like they'll know" Then apparently they wrote my name down wrong so they gave me a hard time handing me my order ... just not the best service first thing in the morning...
Came for an espresso. It was smooth and not too strong. Took longer than expected but it was a Saturday afternoon. Nice outdoor seating area.
11th Hour Coffee might have just given me the best brunch I've had in a while. The space is beautiful, calm, plant-filled, bright, and almost healing. It feels like somewhere you could sit for hours without being rushed. Surprisingly, there's also a full bar, which I didn't expect from the outside. We ordered two specialty lattes, two bowls, and a loaded avo toast and the total was right around $100 for two people, so this is definitely not a casual quick bite price-wise. That said, the food was incredible. The potato bowl was cheesy, rich, and perfectly cooked. The potatoes had that ideal texture: crispy edges, soft centers. But the star of the table was the loaded avocado toast. Genuinely the best I've ever had. The bread was thick and substantial, the avocado was generous, and the toppings were layered in a way that made every bite balanced but bold. It felt like someone actually thought about how it should taste instead of just piling things on for aesthetics. The lattes were the only slight miss for me. The mocha mushroom had a much stronger turmeric and mushroom flavor than I expected. Not bad, just not what I was prepared for. Alternatively, the maple oat milk latte was smooth but didn't have the maple-forward sweetness I anticipated. Both were fine, just not as memorable as the food. Staff were kind and the food came out quickly, which I appreciated. Overall, I would absolutely come back, with the knowledge it's a bit of a splurge. For the quality of the brunch itself though, it feels worth it!
A very popular place for locals to do work at with beautifully designed coffee bags, clothing, mugs and flowers to buy. The seating is extensive and high quality with very comfy chairs. We tried a matcha latte and it was decent. Perhaps the coffee will be better here.

Stopped by 11th Hour Coffee while visiting Santa Cruz and it ended up being such a great coffee stop to relax and do work. We picked up the vegan chocolate cookie and the chocolate banana cookie, and both were excellent! For drinks, we ordered the vanilla latte and the iced mocha. I really appreciated that they weren't loaded with sugar. The flavors were subtle and balanced, allowing the quality of the coffee to shine through instead of being masked by syrup. We didn't have enough time to try their breakfast, but everything coming out of the kitchen looked incredibly promising. Definitely a spot I'd come back to just to give the breakfast menu a proper try. If you're looking for a solid coffee shop with quality pastries and what looks like a great breakfast menu, 11th Hour Coffee is well worth a visit. The ambiance is relaxing filled with plants and the service was amazing as well! read more

First off, the ambiance is stunning, I love the natural light and all the plants in the shop. There's plenty of seating and the interior is very spacious. I ordered their signature latte and enjoyed it! It was the perfect amount of sweetness and I got my caffeine fix. Came here for a bite to eat and take a couple of quick calls for work! We sat outside and they had minimal outlets, but had an extension cord for use! Areas outside and inside were clean with plenty of tables to sit at! The ambiance was busy with other people study/working/ or just reading a book The food & drinks were delicious! Stopped by this coffee shop because I was in the area and found it on Yelp. The space is huge! It shares the space with a bar and a few other food businesses. There were lots of people hanging out, studying, and enjoying the vibe, and it felt like a great place to relax or get some work done. I ordered the salted caramel latte and it was absolutely delicious. Smooth, perfectly sweet, and super comforting on a cold day. I'd definitely recommend this spot if you're nearby -- I'm glad I stumbled on it! read more
I ordered the mushroom mocha, but unfortunately it tasted like watered-down chocolate milk. I asked to add a shot of espresso and was given a look like I was asking for too much and was told I'd need to get back in line to pay for it although there were 2 registers opened, which felt a bit inconvenient. While I still think it's a little expensive to come here everyday, I finally tried their pastries and thought they were delicious. I got their cranberry rosemary blondie which was buttery and the orange/cranberry flavor really came through. I was skeptical of the rosemary in a baked good but it actually worked really well. I love how they are always something new and interesting and how they taste even better than they look. I will say that I feel like the avocado toast got a little bit smaller while remaining the same price, but it still tasted really good and the smoked salmon on the side tasted great as well. read more

The service was great, the coffee is delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. It is quiet so if you need to study or want a place to bring your kids, it has both. One of the cutest coffee shops that I've been to. I love the vibes and the ambiance. It's the perfect place to bring a book and read either indoors or outdoors while sipping your coffee and having a treat. I got the iced vanilla latte and it's alright, nothing out of the ordinary but it gets the job done and it's not terrible. I've gotten it a couple times, so it's decent enough to get again. I tried their mocha cake and that was incredibly delicious! It was definitely a treat. It was light, fluffy and not too chocolatey which I'm a fan of. I also got the earl grey cookie and I would get it again. It was such a unique flavor! This is a go to coffee spot whenever I'm in town. read more

However, the drinks were just meh. Salted caramel latte - ok Iced green bee - One of the weakest matchas I've tried. Tbh, Capitol One cafe (the bank) has better matcha lattes. Where's the lavender? Where's the matcha?? Also, the one matcha bowl they use to whisk looked gross. Dried matcha inside and out. Looked like it hasn't been rinsed once since they opened and I came at 2PM. The start was super friendly and easy going. I had a biscuit sandwich and it tasted amazing. The biscuit it self had a unique flavor and was super fluffy. The bacon, with eggs and cheese were also perfect. This was super cute cafe, I saw families, students and people coming in and out to start their work day. read more
Phoebe and Saleem were not only super nice but definitely helpful! Phoebe was able to give me the best recommendations such as the mushroom mocha and Saleem was able to answer all my questions regarding what mix of mushrooms it had! The space environment is as radiant as the plants here, well taken care of just like those plants watered every day! lol. Lol definitely would recommend checking out the Ramen as well as the dumplings after 5pm! If it's your first time in Santa Cruz, I definitely recommend you to check the space out as it is as beautiful as the drinks ! Yummy too! read more

Underwhelming experience. I wasn't expecting anything fancy or special, but with all of the great reviews I've read, I expected more. We ordered the breakfast biscuit and asked for no mayo, and they put mayo on the sandwich. I got the ranchero plate and the eggs were rubbery. The honey bee latte I ordered was so watery, I had to toss it out and we went straight to Cat and Cloud, so I could get a good matcha drink. The yogurt bowl was probably the best dish. We got a side of bacon for the kids and it was dry and overcooked. Everything looked great and was plated so nicely and the cafe is so so cute, so it was disappointing that the food and drink were subpar. Service was not great either. Lots of great gems in Santa Cruz, I wouldn't go back, but a lot folks seem to like it. I didn't experience the hype. read more

Yes! It is big space with a few different areas to gather in. There's an outside patio as well. If you are looking to reserve a space, you might have to contact the owners, it's probably possible!

We roast all our own beans in house and we tend to have a medium roast.
