Five stars for Garrett and Scott in PARTS department! Even though I live in California, they were still able to help me! My car has been out of commission since Dec 20th (Ie 2 months) and nobody had been able to find the part, as it's on backorder til March 6th. I gave up on the dealership here, so I took it to a random shop to try to get something going with aftermarket parts or something. Rental cars and ubers are sucking me dry. And public transportation in Los Angeles is what nightmares are made of...! It's been a saga. My friend in Florida called Coggin, and lo and behold, they had the part! They doubled checked the VIN. Took my order, and now it's already being shipped to the mechanic in LA. AWESOME! And, they are wicked fast with answering phone calls and emails. Really EXCELLENT customer service! They drove from Fort Pierce with a beautiful TLX A Spec for a service loaner on my 2014 Acura MDX for a milestone maintenance service. On time and picking up my car with a free loaner! Communication throughout the process and an app that allows you to track the progress is amazing! Timing belt, water pump and drive belts were replaced. Transmission serviced, 4 wheel alignment, oil change and interior detail were all completed the by next day!! Bravo! My car was picked up and delivered back by a courteous driver. I was on vacation in Florida visiting my daughter for Christmas. I drove over 2 days to get there in my Acura MDX. On the way the car hit a deep pothole at around 45 MPH and it jarred the car terribly and after that begin making noises from the front of the car. I brought it into Coggin Acura and after the mechanic looked at it he discovered the struts needed to be replaced (car had over 90000 miles on it). Coincidently he discovered the pre-tensioner hydraulic component was leaking and the timing belt was in danger of failing which would ruin it. He said they would make the repairs so we could leave on time but would need to keep the car overnight. I was loaned a new 2023 Acura MDX overnight and was able to leave the day after that as planned. Coggin Acura went above and beyond helping me out in a difficult situation that could have been a disaster! The work done was expertly done by their senior mechanic. I will not forget how they helped me and highly recommend their dealership. A special shout out to the Service Writer Todd Tracey who helped me all the way. read more

The service dept is terrible here... My rearview mirror came off last year. I hardly touched it (but was also told by the technician they had seen this often in the 2017 MDX). It was still under warranty so was told they had a new one for me. When I drove there (40 minutes away) they had no courtesy car as promised.. They had it over 4 hrs and had just snapped the old one back in. I hardly drove the car last 5 months (Because of major surgeries and Covid) but it happened again. I called today and the technician was terrible.. Told me maybe I should just take it to Melbourne and see what they would do. I was about to try to trade it in and look at the new models.. The service director at Coggin Acura of Ft. Pierce quoted me a price for replacing the door moldings minus a discount to match a coupon offer from another dealership. I took the car for service today. The service director had the day off, but assured me that he had left all pricing detail with his service adviser. After the car was finished, the service adviser said his boss had miscalculated the labor costs when quoting me. Then he falsely said that the discount was already included in the price. When I produced an email from his boss stating otherwise, the service adviser added to the invoice a large miscellaneous charge which he said was for dealer profits. A very dishonest individual! No integrity or honesty at this dealership. Avoid this place!!! read more

Night and day treatment. My past experience was with Acura of Delray and that was a train wreck. Service here at Coggin in Ft. pierce I s wonderful! I was greeted, everything was reviewed and the staff was friendly and informative. The waiting area was comfortable and I didn't feel like cattle like in Delray. Overall, a terrific experience. I recently had transmission issues with my vehicle and although it took longer than expected - I was provided a loaner vehicle and communication on status was always provided. Incidentally my vehicle has over 194,000 and this was the first major repair since purchasing in 2005. Today's vehicles are highly complexed with all the technology, and it is key to have your vehicle serviced by well trained and experienced technicians, that have the customer's safety and well being at the forefront. I was here to check out their Acuras and while talking - they brought it to my attention that my current car had an airbag recall that was very dangerous. I currently drive a Mercedes. He set me up in a loaner car and even took my car to Mercedes for me - after confirming they had my airbag in stock. My wife and I have purchased and/or leased 4 new vehicles from Coggin Acura over the last 8 years. We also service our vehicles at Coggin. I have always had a good experience working with the Sales, Finance, and Service staff. With the new updated facility, I'm even happier. On my most recent visit, I brought my car in for a self-inflicted issue (coffee leaked through the center console and under all of the carpets). Dennis, my Service Advisor, went above and beyond to make sure that my car was fixed, cleaned, and like new. He went out of his way to make sure the work was done correctly, without breaking the bank. I dropped off my girlfriend's Honda Accord for a multipoint inspection and oil change. There's a Honda dealership next door, but I enjoyed the reviews for this Acura dealership. The waiting area is very clean and comfortable. I scheduled online and waited an hour during the appointment. My Service Advisor was Cheryl S. and she kept me informed of a brake caliper issue and said they would receive the part the following day. They knew I wasn't from the area and gave me a loaner car which I felt was above and beyond to help me out while I was in town. It made me fall in love with their newer cars, alas it was only for a day. The inspection was great, Cheryl informed me of items I should pay attention to now versus what I could wait on. The Accord feels better in the road, and the brakes are nice and tight. Thank you, Cheryl & thank you to the Acura Service Department. read more

If I could add more stars I would. Exceptional experience. Out of town traveler. I have a non- Acura vehicle. AC stopped blowing cold (no AC in Florida not good) due to AC Component damage. Other dealership mis-diagnosed and 2nd dealership stated very high cost to repair. Met Brian Sattar, GM of Coggin Acura of Ft Pierce. He stated his Acura dealership would be happy to assist. I was introduced to Carmen, Service Advisor who I give an A+. She was exceptional in all aspects. My wife and I were treated like we were life-long customers by Brian and his staff. They found cause and completed repair quickly. Also, cost was almost 50% less than quoted at the original manufacturer dealership. We recommend everyone to experience true customer service and appreciation. Ty Brian, Carmen and team. Ps. 3 days after receiving our vehicle back, Brian Sattar, General Manager, called my wife and I personally to confirm the AC was operating properly and to thank us for our business. Brought my 2011 - 6 speed manual TSX in for service at 42K miles. Mark at the service desk was personable, professional, informative, and even saved me money. The shop work was superb. Among other items serviced that day, the transmission subsequently displayed a noticeable improvement in shifting and smoothness of power transfer. I could not be happier and was glad to convey my appreciation directly to the staff the day after my visit (yes, I returned to the service department specifically to let them know what a good job they did). Why would I trust my baby with anyone else? I wouldn't. These folks are my service shop for as long as I own my TSX. read more

I took my car, a 2013 RDX purchased from Coggin, in for basic oil change and tire rotation. They ended up convincing me I should change the transmission fluid, and filters for air and cabin.I should have said "no thanks" or at least asked "how much". My bad. At check out, the bill was more than $400.00. Absolutely ridiculous. Changing air filters was $150.00. The filters -at any auto parts store are $15 and easy to do yourself. They took the filters out to show me, I said "fine, put in new". The labor to put them back in was $53.00. Had I said "no thanks" it would have been free. The oil change was $80.+. I realize their overhead is extreme, and they will cost more than elsewhere, but buyer beware! The purchase is just the beginning of high, out of line pricing. read more

I had my car brought in for service to this dealership and ended up with body damage that I did not realize was there and didn't discover it for 2 weeks. It's on an area of the car that I don't normally look at and where you wouldn't expect damage there. I discovered it when I hand washed it for the first time since picking it up. I am the only one that drives this car and it's always parked in a safe spot and has never been through a car wash except for at the dealership. I am certain that this 6 foot+ dent with no scratches and an even rub mark that runs the length of the dent was caused by a defective car wash. Even if it wasn't it happened while on their watch. My problem is that I didn't see it for 2 weeks. When brought to their attention they of course denied it saying that their car wash wouldn't do that. Of course they didn't bother to show me their car wash and also said that if their employees did it that they are trained to confess. To make matters worse they further insulted me by implying that it happened to me in a way that I would have known it and I'm blaming them to get them to pay for it. They suggested that it looks like it got hit repeatedly by a security gate, which is ludicrous. They said that they would try to see if they could give me a little discount on the bodywork to fix it. I refuse to let this dealership further profit (even at a discount) from damage I'm sure they caused. #nointegrity read more

Doesnt deserve one star either. I bought my 2014 Nissan Versa from Coggin Acura in July of 2019. When I got home I realized I had a tail light out, let Phil (sales associate) know Id be bringing it back in. They addressed it and said it was ONLY a lose bulb. Next day all of my lights were going in and out. Week later my transmission started slipping. I let Phil know I would be returning to have it fixed once my pregnancy complications were addressed (was on bed rest). When I brought my car back in Timothy let me know my transmission switch and wiring harness needed replaced. I hadn't been able to drive my car since i purchased it. Timothy told me if I replaced my transmission switch it would fix my transmission slipping. Since I had spent over 8 grand on this car I could only afford to fix 1 issue so I would be able to at least drive my kids to school. After I paid 640 and change to replace the transmission switch and went home my transmission continued to slip. Made Timothy aware and brought my car back in. Told me that he was wrong and that my wiring harness needed replacement to prevent my slip. They kept my car an entire week and Timothy would not return my phone calls. Best they could do was 10% off even though they misdiagnosed the problem twice. When I brought it the day after purchase (my wiring harness was bad when I bought it) and the transmission switch that cost another 400. After spending over a grand to fix my new car I was happy to finally have it driven! WRONG. Not even a few days after I got my car back my AC went out completely! At this point I truly believe the dealership was taken advantage of me and contacted a mobile mechanic. Corey a mobile mechanic came out and diagnosed my fan motor blew due to the dealership never putting in a cabin filter when they sold me my car. I've never taken my car elsewhere. He wrote up the diagnosis that they are at fault and I sent it to the GM at coggin (phone num 7706529931 email jslezak@cogginauto.com). I had to spend 300/400 to replace my fan motor. My entire family got our cars from coggin and all of us now have had our issues. Currently my bf had to get his car towed to coggin today because they replaced his breaks wrong last week and its taking metal off his car. When they sold him his Acura he had to bring it in twice to fix the AC and twice to fix a leaking door within the first few days. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying their vehicles unless you take it to a trustworthy shop since their body shop has no clue what they're doing! read more

Dennis is the ONLY reason I keep bringing my car in for servicing. Have never met a more courteous, professional! and genuine person. Inconsistencies describes the experience that I have encountered.From purchase to service.Never keep one manager in service Department and all offers get voided for any quoted offers from last inconveniences.$49.00 oil change was increased to $70 and no matter the history,its not honored. Like a used car salesman,once out the door,no accountability on they part.The car is barely driven and the upsales is unnecessary.Why argue the fact of costs when the evidence is on the store computer.It be different if we lied or fabricated the history. read more
