A great local place just outside of Denton. It's a restaurant and lounge so there's a full bar to satisfy your beverage needs. It's American cuisine so several great sandwiches, local seafood, and of course steaks. They have specials every day they're open, and always have good desserts. Service is pretty good too, and always friendly. My go to is the fried oyster platter which comes with 2 sides, and a generous portion of fried oysters. read more

Great pace we stop here on the way to the beach. This is where the farmers eat small menu but everything is good I love the New York strip.

Wifey and I were looking for lunch on the way to Delaware and found this place on the map. I've passed it a hundred times over the years. We each got chicken Chesapeake entrees, one with crab imperial and the other with crab dip. Both were awesome and very reasonably priced. The service was also great, and our server was friendly. Don't let the lack of curb appeal deter you, this place is great! read more

I have passed this place for years on my way to the beach. This time I stopped in for lunch. SO glad I did! It is clean and comfortable, and our waitress, Heather, made us feel very welcome. She made my brother a great martini, the brought out crab balls. -Great flavor, crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. Next we had a hamburger and shared the clam strips. The burger was juicy and the bun was fresh and toasted. It was a good way point to take a break from the road. I will be back next summer! Highly recommend! read more

Wonderful 1/2 lb bleu cheese burger and crispy fries. Bathrooms very clean, nice air conditioned place for a beer and recovery from beach traffic. Locals congregate here which tells you they are that good. Wish they didn't have a picture of President Dump up, but they have freedom of speech just like I do. read more

We stopped by for lunch on our way to the ocean after reading good reviews on Yelp. We ordered the blackened shrimp on garden salad and crab melt. Both were delicious and good sized portions. The waitstaff was attentive and the prices reasonable. The restaurant and bathrooms were spotless. We highly recommend! It was a great way to start our vacation. read more

Wasn't anything the employees were doing wrong, they stayed busy and the food was coming out of the kitchen every few minutes. We will definitely eat here again. Check their hours before you go. Small but food is good. Friendly staff. They could handle maybe 1 large group. Booths and tables.

Pros: My family enjoys the food. The waitstaff is kind and attentive. Cons: Every we have come in, numerous items have been sold out. I understand from time to time, if your special of the day sells through, ok, but if you special of the day is available every week, prepare more. Slowly increase your production pars. For items like fried clams that are held in a freezer, you should never run out of these items. Consistency is key and it gets old being told you are out of numerous items on the menu. read more

Despite the "restrooms for customers only" sign, this establishment let this poor pregnant lady, obviously in dire pain, use the restroom despite my inability to purchase a beer for their trouble. We stop here on the way to the beach often to eat a light lunch. The whole establishment is always noticeably clean and the food for us has always been spot on fresh and delicious--shrimp salad, appetizers, sandwiches etc. The service is not super speedy but the local, genuine atmosphere and interactions w staff have been great. Coming home from Dewey, needed a beer. Lo and behold, Cohee's 404 was there for me. Played my fav song on the jukebox 17 times in a row, and no one complained! Played a few rounds of pool - bar had to close, but the party didn't stop. A fine gentleman and his wife provided entertainment and warm Bud in the back of his pick up truck. He strummed his guitar and we sang along, into the wee hours. Unforgettable night at Cohees 404. Love that place! read more
