I'm torn between giving them a very good rating and a very bad one…read more The very good part. They're good at what they do, ie identifying and working on complex issues with the eye. I regularly see very elderly patients with complex eye issues here. The very bad part. They're pretty bad at the total turnaround time. While they have improved significantly in making sure that patients get seen quickly by the staff, it's often the doctor who seems to be the bottleneck here. Perhaps, if they're seeing so many patients they need to increase the number of doctors available. Been waiting here for the doctor for over 30 mins. And was just told by the attendant that there are additionally two more patients ahead of me. I cannot be wasting over an hour waiting on a doctor. At this point, I've given up on this practice, and have walked out without being seen by the doctor. I'm taking my business elsewhere.

My husband had narrow angle glaucoma which is harder to treat and his ocular pressure post surgery is now 8 - way better than what we had anticipated. Originally, she was going to put a micro stent inside for drainage but for some anatomical reason, they did not take. She quickly changed her plan and both eyes surgeries are very successful. When I finally managed to speak with the manager in person, she was extremely rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. Right in front of me, she popped the lenses out of my glasses and twisted the frame, then denied ever touching them. First she said she would help resolve the issue, and then suddenly changed her story and said, "Sorry, we can't help, it's been almost a year." The frustrating part is that when I tried to get help earlier -- before it had been a year -- the staff kept telling me the manager was unavailable and that nobody else could assist me. Now I'm stuck with expensive YSL glasses that I can't even use. On top of that, I feel like I was overcharged with unnecessary add-ons and hidden costs. I have honestly never experienced customer service this bad before. The manager was incredibly unprofessional, dismissive, and disrespectful. Very disappointed. The first time I…read morechecked in as a new patient, I found out that 2 people with appointment 30 minutes after mine were seen before me because they arrived earlier than me. I brought this up to the assistants but they all denied it, even though I saw a sign-up sheet up front showing names, appointment time, and arrival time. Dr. Song seems to be very knowledgeable but he only took less than 5mins to check my eyes. Instead, he kept chatting with his assistants about office matters and how 100% majoring in biology is garbage, etc. When I was still doing my tests, I was asked to stop and let another patient use the equipment just because after that she could go home. Dr. Song seems to be the only one in charge of everything, and his staff are a group of young kids who only do what he tells them to. They gave me a surgery pricing estimate without any itemization which was way over my insurance coverage, probably full of hidden charges. Another thing that I was very uncomfortable with was that one of the assistants gave me a vision test after dilation which, of course, wasn't good as my previous test, done without dilation, two weeks ago. I felt like they used that as an excuse to rush me toward getting surgery. They run a dishonest business.
