When choosing…read moreaccommodations, I spend considerable amounts of time combing through listings, to ensure that maximum relaxation is achieved. Stumbling upon Max and Corrine's oasis just outside of Las Vegas made our trip absolutely perfect. Upon arrival, we discovered a welcome note, wishing me a Happy Birthday, along with guides explaining the amenities on the property. On the coffee bar, there was a beautiful display of granola bars and sea salt chocolate. In the mini fridge were several bottles of water, which was so greatly appreciated after a 15 hour travel day. There were two arm chairs at the foot of the bed, with throw pillows, waiting to invite you to take your shoes off and relax for a few moments. On the bed were two of the fluffiest bathrobes, just asking to be worn out onto the patio. Two luxurious Turkish style bath towels were on the bed next to the robes. The bed was the softest, most enveloping cloud, which allowed for a restful sleep each night. The cabinets were stocked with everything you could possibly need while on vacation in Las Vegas. Ample closet space was provided, perfect for unpacking our giant suitcases to get the wrinkles out of our clothes. The slate shower is warm, the water pressure perfect, with a rain shower head, as well as the standard shower head. The double vessel sinks allowed for my husband and I to get ready in tandem each morning and afternoon. (Sorry about the glitter, Max!) Speaking of clothes, none will be needed at this humble abode. The entire property is clothing optional, wear as little or as much as you would like. It was a judgement free zone, a welcome reprieve from the societal pressures of the day to day back home. The pool was crisp, clean, and refreshing after a day spent on the strip. (I can't lie, I was in the pool before we left for the day as well!) The hot tub was warm, clean, and relaxing. Max was kind enough to provide cold bottles of water each day in a little cooler on the patio, which he refilled repeatedly for us!! He is quick to deliver espresso and breakfast treats, which I highly suggest accepting! I would also like to thank him, from the bottom of my heart, for coordinating a beautiful birthday morning surprise with my husband. I woke up to flowers, a breakfast tray, espresso, and coffee. It was truly magnificent. This property is meticulously maintained, with each plant being hand chosen, groomed, and arranged to add to the magic of this place. It's clear that this is a labor of love for this sweet couple, who I now call friends.

    Me and 7 guest stayed in 2 of the penthouse suites and were disgusted by what we discovered…read more shortly after settling into the room, one of my guests discovered a USED CONDOM in a vase in our room. I immediately contacted Signature Rental and their response was less than desired. They told us no housekeeping staff were on location and they would be back at the hotel at 11 am the next day. Me and 3 of my guests were then forced to sleep next to a used condom with a smell of bodily fluids wafting from the vase. In the morning, we left as soon as possible to get out of the filthy room and waited for the room to be cleaned. I got a message from Signature Rental around 1:30 asking me to send a picture of the condom to prove there is an issue... i was floored. Not only have they still not cleaned our room, they need picture evidence to give the room a once over...After i told them i did not feel comfortable taking a picture of someone's used condom, they sent a snarky message about leaving our do not disturb light was on... Sorry, was in a bit of a hurry to get out of our petri dish of a room to check the do not disturb light. Later when returning to the room, we saw there was no signs of actually cleaning that happened, not even the beds were made. Surprisingly, the condom was gone. And the worst part? Not a single refund or anything comped. Am i crazy, or does forcing guests to sleep in a room with a condom not justify a free night at least? I assumed rental companies had some sort of morals for having people sleep in decently cleaned rooms, but not these guys.

If we did not, we could go back to our rented apartment with housekeeping free of charge and rest comfortably. The whirlpool and bathroom were impressive. They came in handy after the walking marathon that is Vegas. We had a wonderful stay.

    I checked in to our third hotel leg on this trip, the Signature at MGM, and the desk reception…read morecalled in to the unit owner to confirm we had arrived. That person instructed them not to check us in, and told us that Expedia had cancelled the reservation. We were told by the Signature that it likely wasn't Expedia's fault, but we would have to contact Expedia. Expedia said they had not cancelled it, and put me on hold off and on for 45 minutes while they tried to reach the unit owner. During this time, I asked for and was provided the owner's number, and when I started explaining the circumstances, he hung up on me. When I called back, I was connected to a voice mail box too full to receive other messages. While I was on hold, the desk clerk said that this had happened before with this unit owner, and told me they could check us in immediately to another identical room, if Expedia authorized it. That happened, after two hours, a lost evening, and a missed prepaid and non-refundable Vegas show we had scheduled for that night. Be aware--you are not booking hotel inventory with this unit, you are booking an irresponsible owner's individual room, which can be cancelled when you arrive at his whim, without notice or consideration of your plans. Do not book any unit or other travel with (888) TOURISM, @888TOURISM--check out their reviews. Whether with or without Expedia's help, they will ruin your time.

    I had been managing our home for many years and was hesitant bringing on a property manager. Now…read morethat I have done so, I'm so glad to be working with Five Star Property Management and the Blue Team. Matthew and Randy from Five Star Property Management mentioned they have a philosophy of treating customers' homes like their own, and it really feels this way. I experienced some unforeseen problems with an existing tenant. The Five Star Property Management team has really taken it upon themselves to work with me through these problems which I appreciate. They were even able to surface problems with this tenant that weren't caught before. In terms of the Blue Team that I work with, Dominique and Trinity have been amazing. They are currently helping turn the home over after a challenging move out situation, and I appreciate how proactive they have been with communications and getting the home ready. I also appreciate the sense of urgency they are working with as it is not easy as a home owner to have a home sit empty. If you're even thinking about a property management company, do yourself a favor and at least have a conversation with Five Star Property Management.
