Do not use Foster Realty as your property management company. I have been disappointed by them time and time again. I hired them in Dec 2022 to rent out and manage a condominium unit I own. We were not getting much interest in the unit and my husband decided to search for the unit on Zillow (where Evan said he was advertising the unit) and there was no listing for the unit. We had to notify him of this and therefore our unit remained vacant for an entire month. When Evan did manage to find a tenant, all he did with me was try to negotiate down my asking rent. I thought he was supposed to be working for me with my best interest in mind. I had never been asked to negotiate the price of rent before. When my tenant's year long lease was up, we had agreed to increase the tenant's rent. Evan failed to do so 60 days in advance (per his lease terms) so I lost out on two months of increased revenue. Throughout the 18 months of our working relationship Evan was difficult to get ahold of and would often not return my calls or texts. It was very frustrating. In contrast, I hired a new property management company to take over when my tenant was moving out. They found two excellent tenants within days, increased the rent even more and were able to get it, and facilitated the whole process leaving me with only one day vacant between tenants to clean the unit. I am so much happier with them. read more

Kyla has always been great through the renting process, one of the best to be quite honest. I've rented before through other places/companies and it has been night and day I'll tell you that. The communication has always been efficient and prompt. Any issues l've came across that need attention, they do address it quickly. Example: currently the water heater in my unit began leaking and I have no hot water, Thomas addressed the issue immediately and was even going to have someone come out during the weekend as an emergency but luckily I was leaving town and it could get addressed when I came back. It has been almost a year since my husband, and I moved into the rental property. We do not receive 24-hour notice prior to an inspection or maintenance by the realty company. We have had many instances where people have entered our backyard or climbed on top of our roof while our children were alone. Our concerns have been raised many times with the reality company but have been overlooked. There is no concern for my children or ours' safety! Update to my initial review : Once, Evan became aware of our situation he handled the situation with speed and top notch customer care. I want to personally thank him for is attention. He coordinated its so an A/C repair person came out on a Saturday and repaired the A/C. We really appreciate him going the extra mile for us. I can now with good faith recommend Foster Realty to anyone asking for a. Reference. We are tenants of a unit that Foster Realty manages the A/C went out 3 days ago. We have been asking for it to be repaired. It is lunch time on Friday, NOTHING! The boilerplate response is "We are waiting on quotes". This is Las Vegas and it's summertime you would think they would want to keep the tenants happy and wanting to continue to lease units they manage. read more

My parents recently moved to Las Vegas, and I rented them a place through Foster Realty. There were a lot of maintenance issues that needed to be addressed, but none were taken care of before they moved in (even though they had 2 weeks between the move-in inspection and the time my parents moved in). Needless to say, my parents were extremely upset, so I contacted Foster Realty ready to give them hell. Fortunately I was transferred to Keiontay, who was extremely patient and accommodating. He made sure to send out vendors right away, most of them that same day, and followed up afterwards to ensure that everything was properly repaired. Maybe they're fine as realtors, but as managers, be prepared to do a lot of hassling to get anything accomplished with Foster Realty. They took over my building and offered to move me into another unit. I told them which one I wanted, was told I'd be told when it was ready... but then they forgot and rented it to someone else. Then I had an issue needing repair in my current apartment and called several times over several weeks and was always just told that it was "on the radar" of the maintenance. As my apartment became borderline uninhabitable, I began calling several times a day and they finally sent someone. Still not fixed. Waited another week, patiently, things getting worse--had to make another set of calls. Still not fixed, still making calls... If you're a person who likes calling and calling having to get cranky to get results, Foster is fine. But if you like things to just be taken care of without a lot of hassling and follow-up... not so much. read more

Closed on our house yesterday. The buyer's agent, Dennis Powell somehow got confused on the home warranty situation. The title calls me at work asking about it, I have to call my agent who's on vacation so he can take care of this nonissue. So Dennis held up the closing, which to the point where the buyer's lender CCCU was late on the wire transfer for the payoff. This in turn, caused the title company to wire the next day--today. Because it was wired the next day today, another month of non prorated mortgage interest kicked in and we got screwed out of $500+. All because Dennis wasn't prepared for closing on time. They had 6 hours yesterday to get this done and couldn't do it when time was of the essence. They left no time for title to do what they had to do in the time it needed to be done. A well deserved one star for aiding in screwing my family out of $500 over something that could've been explained well ahead of escrow. Thank you. I will never forget this. read more
