this was a super-fun experience and we loved speaking to the owners... she was a salt-of-the-earth type gal, very friendly and welcoming to all. were the putting greens in the best shape? no not really, there were some maintenance issues. but my son and I had a blast playing the holes, and he loved the combination of gem mining. it was a searing, hot day and thankfully they had cold water there for purchase. for a family outing it was pretty reasonably priced... we will definitely go back. read more

Changed ownership a couple years ago and the quality of the course has gone down hill a little. Some greens are worn and need to be replaced. Still fun and staff is great and helpful. read more

Pretty standard for a miniature golf course. They even have a "course cat"- yes, a real cat that hangs out on the golf course. It was extremely friendly. The "office" is a small trailer/shack. They also have a small snack bar/espresso bar. They offer three chances to win free games (by getting a hole in one on two of the selected courses or by a "ball drop" at the end) Some of the courses were challenging, so that was good. It is good for kids. It is a bit hard to find as the address does not come up on the GPS and it was hard to locate on a map. read more

Our family of 6 played and it was definitely hot outside, but there are some nice covered areas along the course. It's $8.00 a person per game which felt a little high since the holes were just standard holes. We had a good time and the workers were nice. read more

We are in Blue Ridge for a short family vacation during a school break. We came to Cohutta Cove for mini golf and gem mining. We paid a total of about $77 for six of us (3 adults and 3 children) to play 18 holes of golf, as well as gem mining afterward for the three children. The mini golf course is in great condition and the difficulty is fair for kids so they weren't ever discouraged from playing (our youngest player is 4yo). You even get a chance to win free rounds when turning in your ball. We won two free rounds! Onto gem mining...the kids had so much fun and found many rocks and gems which amazed them. The pyrite is probably the best as it looks so much like gold to them! The landscaping around the place is open and beautiful. There are unique seating structures throughout the mini golf if you need a break or are waiting on little ones to finish a hole. Overall, we had a lot of fun and the kids want to go back! The attendant was kind and informative. Hopefully we will be back soon to use our free rounds! read more

My son and I played a round. I won a free game and my son wanted to play again. I didn't. So I handed my free game card to my son to play and was promptly informed that I was the only one that could use the free game. What difference does it make? There was no one else there at the time. I guess he was trying to get me to buy an other round instead of just letting my son play alone. Bad for business. I won't spend another dime there. Good luck buddy read more

This course is AWESOME!!! My kids and I have been several times. The course itself is impressively designed, with each hole possessing it's own unique challenge. There is even one that you can choose to putt your ball on the green, or go for the detour through the stream, where your ball will navigate the current and exit just in time to make a beeline for the hole! We decided to go play at 5ish and it was HOT! We started talking to the owner after we purchased tickets and he said that we should come at night next time! He has lights and it is much more enjoyable. He is getting a few places with roofs along the course, but the tin roofs are not ready. The owner was very personable and was also from Florida. We then asked if we could come back later that night. He gave us 4 free passes to come back since he has already rung us up. We came back around 7:45 pm and it was much cooler. We were greeted by a women who was very pleasant. We had a blast on the course! I never knew mini golf could be classy but this course is for sure. No cheesy animals to work around. There were also some beautiful benches on the course as well. Very different and artsy. At the end, you get to play plinko with your bank to return it. We ended up winning 2 free passes. Great experience! Would definately return. read more
