I came to the reviews of Big Waves laundromat. The reviews were good so I decided to go with big waves laundromat, and I'm glad I did. What I like is the options of the capacity that you need to wash your clothes. You have small, medium and large front loading washers. They also have top loading washers. They have signs on top of the washers to show you the prices of the different capacities. The dryers are all one size they can handle a lot of clothes or bedding. Also there are extra large capacity dryers. So big a bed could fit lol . The price is for the dryer are .25¢ each 10 minutes. Trust me a dollar can completely dry a load of laundry. The dryers work very well. They have a restroom for the customers. They have ATM machine. They have a change machine if you prefer to use quarters. I use the app you can add funds set your washer or dryer and get a text message that your washer or dryer is complete. They have some paintings on the wall that are for sale. They are very pretty. Another thing I like is it is very clean. All throughout the day someone is always cleaning. Someone is always available if you have an issue with a machine. They have a parking lot, although it fills up fast but there are a few street parking places. They do have a fluff and fold Service. They also have baskets that you can bring to your car and fill up with your laundry, making it easier to bring into the wash house. They have vending machines that have some laundry soaps. Also drinks and snacks although I didn't see any prices so I would be careful about choosing something without a price. Maybe someone working could tell you how much each item is. They are located off of Venice Boulevard at Grandview. This is my go to wash house and I'm so glad I chose them.

Besides, for this area they have an outdated machine. Most machine are extremely old. If the business dispute that their machine is not out dated- please submit a picture and I will edit my comments. A woman that either works here or is with management has damaged my car while I was waiting for…read morelaundry to wash. She was attempting to empty the facilities trash can by transporting the trash on a laundry cart. In her best attempt to reduce the amount of steps required to get to the dumpster around the corner she tried hoisting the cart over parking bricks and part of the curb. She was unable to harness the strength to control her actions and the cart toppled over and collided into my vehicle. I felt a violent thud on my car and a loud metal sound so I got out to see if everything was okay. The employee/management's first words were "I didn't do it." She continued to deny that her actions caused damage to my vehicle and was eager to continue her task of emptying the trash. There are two dents on the rear of my vehicle, one on the crease of the trunk and another at the end of quarter panel (same distance apart as the two vertical poles on cart). The employee remained negligent and attempted to remove herself from the situation. Surround yourself with a greater presence and find an alternate Laundromat to conduct business with.

They have regular sized and up to 100 pound washers! There is an ATM and the machines take credit and debit cards. The vending machines are well stocked with snacks, drinks and laundry supplies. They also have 4 massage chairs! Plenty of folding tables and a table to sit and enjoy your snacks. Open 24 hours and will even do your laundry for $1.99 per lb if you need. There is a Starbucks and Coast Gym and soon also a Chipotle. I definitely recommend this place for all your laundry needs.

When I went to pick up my items at 5pm, I was only given 2 out of 6 bags.. when I asked where the other items were, the night staff was confused/apologetic but asked me to come back in the morning to speak with the morning crew who I dropped my clothes off with.. completely ruining my NYE plans. ..inconvenience #1 Stayed calm and prayed about it. By the morning I received a call explaining the night crew didn't realize my items were on the shelf above and that everything else was ready to be picked up... When I went to go get those items on New Years Day, 2 out of the remaining 4 were given. Instead of my 2 covers, the ladies tried to give someone else's blanket. When I said it wasn't mine, they realized the gave my covers to someone else... inconvenience #2. They said they would call the other patron so I can get my covers back... at this point, why would I even want them? I don't know how sanitary they are/aren't. No mention of a refund, discount or anything. Just apologies. When I asked for a refund they said they can only offer me a free wash on my NEXT wash hahah. Like what?! Trust has been completely broken. Why would I ever trust you with more items again. So now I'm out of $84 and 2 covers during the coldest months of the year.
