Drivers getting paid to do their job but don't want to do it. "I have other orders to deliver I can't take it up".

I do not recommend this service, especially their delivery option. They charge a driving fee both ways while also requesting tips for the drivers and the service--which makes no sense. What is the driving fee for if it isn't covering the drivers? On top of that, the drivers have the audacity to refuse bringing the clothes upstairs and want to just leave them outside the apartment. Customer service doesn't pick up the phone, and the final bill is always higher than quoted. I used to use Clean Tide Cleaners (which I loved--no hidden driving fees, just optional tips), but they don't serve my new area. With the exact same amount of clothes, this place charged noticeably more. Also, read their terms and conditions carefully: they warn against sending high-quality items because they may "get lost" (steal them). Extremely disappointing experience all around.

I've driven by The Laundry Room many times but finally got to try it during a cool event when FX/Hulu took over the laundromat to promote their TV series Adults. When walking in, I was greeted by the team and they handed me a $25 laundry card and a ticket for a swag exchange. Very generous! For their swag, can choose between a T-shirt or laundry bag that were TV show branded. The whole laundromat looked very cool with dimmed lights, strings of lights and a disco ball, TV show branded, the DJ, coffee bar, and bodega set the best vibe ever as you washed your clothes! If it wasn't this much fun every time you did laundry! The bodega had the best classic candy and snacks like Twix and Pop Tarts! Even the laundry staff were very nice and helpful. Why I didn't give it a 5/5 stars? I found it to be a little pricier to do laundry here than other laundromat I've been to! $5.00 for the smallest front load machine? Dryers do take coins, it's $2.50 for about 30 minutes minimum. You can top off after you pay $2.50 but you cannot just start a drying cycle with just a dollar if you want for example. I normally don't hella dry my clothes so I don't dry hot and take all the minutes. I believe there are dryers which you can but you gotta ask which ones they are.

I didn't have my credit card on me but I was able to use Apple Pay at the front ! I love that there is someone in here working to help. It's clean and I got great service. Front row parking too so I can wrist in my car and see the laundry mat

So it has been two years since my last review, but I have been coming here weekly ever since. The facility is still well kelp and they finally re-paved the parking lot . They are now offering fluff and fold services. Prices on the machines have gone up a couple times just in the last 12 months but still competitive. In addition to still being able to take debit/credit cards, you can also use the FasCard app which works pretty well. Of course, quarters are always welcome. They have added additional folding stations and they have a table that you can work at, but there is no power outlets, so make sure to bring a fully charged laptop or tablet. While you wait for your laundry, there is always a taco stand or two on Slauson or there is Commissary Coffee around the corner which serves up awesome coffee and treats! NOTE: yes there is a hold if you use debit or credit, but it's per visit, not transaction. If you ever use your debit/credit at a gas station, some do holds too if you read the fine print at the pump. Also 30 minutes on the dryer gets the job done if you put it on HIGH. I have never had to pay more than 30 minutes for drying and my jeans and towels always come out dry

My family have been using the wash and fold service for almost two years and it is incredible! The staff is amazing and friendly. I love picking up my laundry like this!! Thank you so much for your services!

This is my first time ever in a laundromat. I recently moved, and it's taking a while for the washer and dryer to be delivered, so I looked around for nearby laundromats. The place is clean, all the machines accept credit cards, and they have a vending machine which also takes credit cards that sells detergent. They have different size washers, which are priced according to their size. I picked one that easily took everything in my hamper, and it cost $7 for a load. They also have different size dryers. I picked a large one at $3. They also have a folding service, but I didn't use that. I didn't know you had to bring your own detergent, so I had to ask the staff for guidance. They didn't speak English, but via a phone translator, I finally understood they had a vending machine. All in all, pretty quick and easy

I just moved to Culver City and so glad I found this laundromat on Yelp since I like to do a LOT of laundry in one fell swoop! Most of their machines are brand new and half of the machines accept credit cards or fast cards (which you can buy there). The place is very clean and the staff is very friendly! The lady who works here told me that if you use your credit card, it places a $15 hold for each swipe for 24 hours, so if you want to avoid those holds on your debit or credit card I suggest just getting the fast card or using coins. They also have change machines. The 2, 8 load machines are older machines. 1 load machines are $3.00 3 load machines are $5.00 4 load machines are $6.00 6 load machines are $8.00 8 load machines are $10.00 3 load dryers are $1.75 for 30 mins with $0.25 "top off" in 4 min increments 5 load dryers are $2.00 for 30 mins with $0.25 "top off" in 4 min increments

It was close by and seemed clean so we thought we'd give it a shot! The laundry machines are a little expensive but the washers and dryers are massive so they can fit a lot of clothes and everything seems well-maintained. One annoying thing is that you have to buy a Laundry Room card to pay for anything, which is more of an inconvenience than anything because the cost is only $1. Another is less about the place itself but keep an eye on your loads because one of times we came here, people were taking other people's clothes out of dryers before they were even finished!

She is not helpful and has the worst manners possible. She is always negative, talks in a very mad manner to customers and puts down people with the way she talks to people. i think this laundromat is bad but also i like it…read more pros: - not very overstimulating, doesn't have the harsh fluorescent lights and white walls like many laundry places, the walls are yellow with light green pipes - when i went (late afternoon/early evening) it was not very busy - they have a machine you can buy coins from - they sell spare detergent singles (and iirc some other stuff like dryer sheets and fabric softener) - it's not one of the places that takes your laundry they are hands-off unless you want to do the folding service (i guess this could be a con depending but i don't trust people with my laundry, i can't imagine a bored overworked employee will care about tracking the socks of every single person but if i lose a sock i will have to go out and buy another one and what if it's a specific colored/ patterned sock i need as part of a specific outfit and i can't find a comparable sock to replace it) cons: - many laundry machines are out of order and/or filled with water - idk really what to expect for laundromat prices but the worse washing machines are like $3 something (i wanna say $3.75?) which seems a little high to me and the nice ones are like $6 which is imo unusably expensive - there is a sink but it's right outside the bathroom so idk if it's just meant as a bathroom sink or if they're hostile to it being used for laundry. no one got mad at me for it but still it seems weird to not have a laundry-specific sink at a laundromat, people have hand washables and what are you supposed to do if someone goes to the bathroom and needs to use it, either you will have to drain it wasting detergent or they will get their pee germs on your laundry - speaking of the bathroom the toilet bowl was completely smeared with poop so i definitely would advise making sure you go to the bathroom elsewhere beforehand PSA: it only says "gary's cleaners" on the window which isn't very noticeable. the sign atop the building just says "coin laundry" and the sign from the road says "dry cleaners fluff & fold coin wash laundrymat [sic] lavanderia". i think they would have more customers if they could decide on what they want to be called and put on the signs

This is for the fluff and fold service not the laundromat which I have used and it was very nice,…read morestaff helpful, and clean-highly recommend except parking is limited. But that is experience is how this is even 2 stars. The fluff and fold service has been an entirely different story. I even gave it a 2nd chance.. First time- I scheduled a pickup after a long trip so had a lot. I realized I had questions and needed another laundry bag so I took the laundry and asked if I could just drop it off rather than it get picked up. I was told no problem, he'd just change it on my order so the drivers didn't come to pick it up. I asked if I could buy 2 of the large laundry bags because I had 2 full in the car plus a full basket of clothes not in bags. I was sold two of the (granted very nice) handled medium bags and told they didn't have (the less expensive) large bags. I then walked next door to wash my blankets and saw staff giving two people the large bags and more in the vending machine. While washing the blankets I got a message that the drivers were on way for pickup. I went back to double check so a driver didn't come and was told it was just automated text. I went home only to have drivers ring my doorbell for the pickup. Then 30 minutes later I received a message my order was cancelled because no laundry. I was running errands so I stopped in person because the order was cancelled on the site/app too..and they had ALL my clothes. After some back and forth and calls to their other facility they found my clothes and I was told it was back in system. Cut to next day and I get message my order has processed -- I look at total and it does not include the first-time promotion that had been in previously. I call and am told this is my second order. Except it isn't. They just created a 2nd order after wrongly cancelling my first order. Eventually I'm told I will get a refund for the promotion and that my laundry was out for delivery. Cut to a couple hours later and I receive a message it has been delivered (no knock or doorbell this time), I go to look except I can't open my apartment door!..I'm literally trapped inside because the hanger items were on my door handle and across the door jam with the bags against them. I had to call building security to help me get out..only to discover that a whole set of hanging items were missing AND that my random laundry bags that I had brought in were replaced with the large branded ones I was told weren't available the day before. After a call that was more reassuring than previous conversations I received a call back that the driver would return shortly with the now located missing clothes. In the meantime, I began to unpack the clothes and found that while many things had been hung up a number of button downs and linen items had been folded tightly so needed steamed but I had not specified those not be. The missing clothes did get delivered quickly. Second try..I received promo texts and the neighbors who had first recommended trying them out convinced me to give it another shot. This time I just let it get picked up and I added the additional instructions asking that button downs and pants not be folded. This time I also just had their two branded medium handled bags I had purchased in lieu of the unavailable large regular bags -I labeled the one bag as hang to dry and included many of the hangers from the last time as the bag was only half full (and included that in all the order notes). The other bag was very full --however last time it was the two full medium bags plus 1.5 very full large bags. But I received the total this time and the weight is MORE than last time??? Then I walked up to the delivery at my apartment and the hanging clothes are blocking both my door and my neighbors' across the hallway floor (picture) and as I am unpacking them finding button downs and linen pants etc folded plus the regular folded items are folded in three different ways, directions..one of the whole reasons to do the service is can just put them away but now I have to refold 2/3 of the shirts.

The controls are unclear -- there are four buttons, with one labeled "Super Wash" and another labeled "Hot," which reasonably leads you to assume you select both the cycle type and water temperature. However, there is no clear confirmation that hot water is actually being used. After washing and drying my sheets, they were still visibly filthy and covered in what appeared to be dog hair. I'm not sure whether the contamination came from the washer or the dryer, but either way, my linens came out dirtier than when they went in. I ended up having to take everything to a reputable laundromat I've used before and pay to rewash it all. Total waste of time, money, and energy. As others have pointed out, the facility itself is noticeably dirty -- and there was a "worker" there. I should have trusted my first instinct and turned around the moment I walked in. Lesson learned.
