Let's face it, everyone occasionally needs a laundromat for whatever reasons, mine was washing a comforter and drying it properly. You see, putting things that big and heavy in a washer at my complex would kill the poorly maintained machines. I know a few neighbors come here so today was my first time. In general, Chicago and University is a sketchy to eccentric intersection. The sidewalks are always stained with who knows what, so tread carefully. The parking lot is another hazard, and you're probably wondering why I gave this place 4 stars, right? Well, in the therum of 'no choice', this is actually one of the better options in Riverside. Inside it's huge, clean, well organized, and brightly lit. I saw people cleaning the floors and machines, plus, there's a security guard. As a first timer, I needed a debit card, which is .50 one-time, just don't lose it, plus a 3% transaction fee, which was negligible as I'll illustrate, and you can check your balance at the same kiosk. I figured $20 was enough to wash and dry the comforter, and my credit union revealed that the total cost was $20.60 including the fees. mentioned. Looking back, I should have used the so-called 80lb machine because the 100lb in front was bigger than needed, and a little over $12 was deducted. On Tuesday and Thursday those machines are $2 less to use, according to a big banner. I found the machine was really good, though and faster than expected. It gave me a little time to grab lunch around the corner at Canton Chinese Food. The comforter was clean and easily transferred to the large dryer without using a provided cart. That's when I discovered someone's panties were still in the washer when I used it. I left those on top of the machine BTW. Finally, the dryer was pretty inexpensive, a few dollars maybe, and in 29 minutes it thoroughly dried without feeling scorched on the high setting. All-in-all, it's a necessary evil, but this spot seems like a good option for me in the future. read more

This laundromat is clean. They have a security guard for protection. Customer service was great! Easy to use your coin-less card. Only caveat is washers are pricey $2.99 or $3.99 Drying is at $1.99 for 28mins. Definitely is humbling to know there is an extreme convenience to investing in your own washer and dryer. But nonetheless, I would recommend the is laundromat for sure. I'd come back here again. read more

I love this Laundromat. I always bring my bulk laundry here. It is clean and has all new machines, but expensive. I am writing this about the woman who worked the morning shift on May 29th. I didn't see her name tag and couldn't ask later because she locked herself in the office after we spoke, but she was an older Mexican woman about 5 feet tall. She was rude and also lied to me. I got there at 6:45 a.m. There was another man there with me. After an hour, I really had to go to the bathroom. So I asked him if he worked there. He said, "No, but the attendant starts at 8:00 and is out sitting in her car." So I waited. She walked in a little after 8:00. I walked up and asked her if she worked there. She looked me right in the eye and said, "No." She was rude, defensive and anything but helpful. She completely shut me down with her negativity. After she went to the back, I asked the guy who was there if she was the woman who works here. He said, "Yes." So I walked up to her and asked again if she worked there. Her demeanor was indignant, no smile - nothing. I continued and asked to use the bathroom. Her only reply was, "Are you doing laundry here?" It felt like an interrogation. I replied, "Of course. Why would I wander into a laundromat just to use the bathroom?" Again, rude af, she said, "I have to ask." So I asked her why she had lied to me saying she doesn't work here. No response. She unlocked the door and sashayed away without a word, without a smile. If it weren't for the fact that I like this laundromat, I would never come back for the rudeness of this woman. It is expensive enough only to be treated so dismissively for asking to use the bathroom when I spent $40 washing and drying my bulk laundry and two hours of my time. I would think someone working here would show some kind of respect for a paying customer. read more

Very clean! I was there in the morning and a worker asked me if I wanted to have a bigger cart for my basket which helped a lot because I had a lot of clothes. I don't know if they were cleaning them but I want to think she was helping me out by giving me a bigger cart for my stuff. They have good specials through the week too on their washers. I was amazed that they had huge 100 pound washers along with other sizes to fit everyone's needs. I love this laundromat! read more

I have came to this laundry mat a few times and like it but this last time the machine left my cloths stained and once I told the short Mexican lady she said there was nothing she could do not even restart the machine. She was rude and not a good person to have for business because now I will never go back. Very back experience. If there is a way to sue this place let me know. This isn't right. read more

Life happens our laundry machines broke down when least expected . Now it's the venture to wash clothes in the laundromat. We went through a couple of websites to find a laundromat that was ideal for our family . As a woman I'm used to doing daily tasks by myself . I was carrying these heavy baskets and the one of the security guards actually helped me carry the baskets . I was so surprised . Usually kindness is limited these days . The second time I brought more baskets filled with clothes and he offered me a cart. I was having a rough day so with his kindness I felt better . The ladies that were working were doing a great job cleaning making sure everything was sanitized. The vending machines were awesome . The machines and dryers were clean . We will be getting our machines back soon but we are very grateful for the experience and know where to recommend a great laundromat . Thank you !!! read more

Thank you for this wonderful explanation about the pricing on your machines. And yes, this is true the prices are on the machines, in green digital lighting. However, all laundry mats do this, nothing new. I am speaking about the prices you have in large banters across your interior advertising special prices which are misleading and you know they are, which is precisely why you have them displayed that way. You people are truly amazing, the fact that you would even take the time to rebuttal this is very interesting, but hey no prize. I read the banner with the special discounts and proceeded to the large machine expecting my discount, and discovered that the pricing was different because the attendant explained to me how this deception worked. The advertisement has the discount value but does not adjust the cost on the machine, you have to figure that out on your own. Thanks for your potential save, though it had no traction, as it lacked imagination.
