I've been coming here for a few years. The owner is proactive when you reach out to him and you can often see him around the place fixing up washers, etc. He used to have more workers come in shifts throughout the day/week to keep the place clean, but I rarely see them anymore. Either way, the place stays relatively clean. There are two TVs that are on at all times, and at one point the owner had mini-splits installed for AC but doesn't seem to run them anymore besides the fans which do very little in the summer. For some time now, there's been what appears to be mold growing on the ceiling above some of the washers but they haven't fully addressed it. This is disconcerting to a degree, but we breathe more pollutants on the street outside so whatever. The single load washers have been replaced at least twice in the past 10 years and broken machines are fixed relatively quickly. The prices have gone up considerably in the past two years. Single loads used to be $1.75 and now they're $2.50. And with the increase in natural gas the main perk of coming here, which was 10 minute dryer time for $0.25, has disappeared. The owner took off the 10 minute interval on the machines and forced everyone to use the dryers for 30 minutes and pay $1.50, which made no sense to me. It would have been the same if they had just doubled the price for 10 minutes. I don't dry my clothes for longer than 15 minutes at a time because the dryers are so hot already. To be forced to use 30 minutes means it's either destroying my clothes or losing out on money. Not cool. I want to give this a better rating, and would have a few years ago, but this laundromat is just okay nowadays. It's safe enough during the day, but I wouldn't go there at night. read more

You don't need to wear a mask here, it's not enforced. If you have a ton of clothes you can bring the inside via the back door which is open during covid for ventilation. Never leave your baskets and just chill in the car ... Had a few stolen from right under my nose. I let my laundry bake in the hot car before bringing it inside. All the washers and dryers use app based (pay range) payment in addition to coins, but if the internet dies you'll need coins. read more

This review would have been nothing short of perfect until I was just about wrapped up with a load of laundry with my boyfriend who went to go and get his clothing out of a dryer just to find that all of his items had been taken from said dryer and replaced with someone else's. When we confronted the woman on staff she wasn't much if any help and said they were not held responsible. This place was very clean, good sized, and fairly priced. My only bad comment is to the gentleman who was loitering in front the entire time we were there (3hrs) He asked us for money, after throwing himself in front of our car as were pulling into the parking space. We gave him some. Kept talk to us, trying to sell us stolen shoes for a "7 year old girl". ( he told us he swiped them). It was uncomfortable for us. But not the owner fault! read more

Is one of the only 24-hour laundromats in Riverside the first time I came here it was nice and clean and those lay here who is keeping it up who is nice now it looks like a pigsty and nobody's here managing the laundry machines. If I could rate no stars I would! Nothing but lying thief's!!!!! I was there doing laundry late one night , I had left real quick but ended up getting rear-ended so I couldn't return for my clothes that night . However I returned in the am just to find my clothes missing ! I called the number and left 2 messages. The lady in the laundrymat finally found one of my bags of clothes,but funny thing is all my husband's expensive jeans and my son's were missing!!!! The following day I tried to call again and left another message . So I went back in the laundrymat and spoke to the lady on duty. She was no help. Finally after the 3rd time calling I spoke to a lady and she had confirmed they had my jeans and some towels and would hold them for me . When I went in and asked the lady working she looked at me like I was dumb! And said no we probably have them to the homeless. It's not our job to hold them! She checked and didn't see anything. I left and went back that evening and there was a different worker, so I asked her and she told me she will look but usually they only hold them 2 weeks. Well it hadn't been a week even. She came out with my black trash bag in her arms asking me to discribe my jeans. I did then she pulled out 1 pair of my husband's jeans and my bag was ripped up. If that isn't a their and a liar. I would of rather them not returned any. That made me more upset . So since the owner confirmed she had them and the workers lied I'm taking legal action . U will pay for 5 pair of my husband's true religion jeans and 1 pair of my son's. They are $200-329 each good luck BUT ONCE U CONFIRM THAT U HAVE MY COOTHES IN YOUR POSSESSION, IT BECOMES YOUR RESPONSIBILITY IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THEM!!!! I want to update my review, which I wouldn't normally do, but after taking a carful considerate look at the situation and taking the value of every other experience I have had with DZ I feel the experience I choose to list here takes away from true service this laundromat provides. It's not only one of the cleanest in riverside. The owners are honest and they put in work. I've gone many times and seen the husband and wife and the same husband and his father working. I once left my computer bag there and they put it safely away until I was able to come back and claim it as my own. Basically if you want cheap, clean washing machines DZ has got you covered. I come here all the time, I have a large family of six and spend $40-$50 dollars a week on clothing and blankets. I pretty much have a system of walking by all the washers and asking the ones about to be done if I could load after them. Today the lady that works here blocked me from loading one of my already set up washers so another women could load her clothing. Rudest thing ever! I'm totally shocked what a shit show. Noise, a World Series baseball game with a grand-slam and stadium is less noise. More people than rush or hour at Manhattan subway station. Not clean, floors super dirty but the Peanuts Pigpen would feel at home. Machines worked great. NO WIFI. I remove 1-star for claiming "free WiFi" when there is zero. Lots of businesses in California doing this nonsense. 2-star rating is relative to my 5-star review on an Arkansas laundromat (my gold standard). Obviously you are not going to travel to Arkansas if you are at DZ's. Looks like more than a few cottage businesses are having the laundry done here so plan your time as you many not get a machine. I just moved to Riverside from Los Angeles and after attending the same laundry mat for years, it was hard to find one in the new area. I came to this laundry mat about 3 weeks ago because it was the only 24 hour one that looked decent and wasn't full. It has decent pricing, and it looks up kept. It washed my clothes well. I came again, tonight and still a nice experience. Only thing is our clothes got stuck in one of the washers. I called the numbers posted on the door and an employee by the name of Lisa came. It was actually her day off but she was in the area. She still managed to stop by and attempt to help us. Even though she was not successful because the machine was broken. I truly appreciate Lisa's help. She is heaven sent. Really nice, and warming personality. She didn't have to stop by on her day off to help us but she did anyway. The owners had to be called and they came out and got the machine open. They put out clothes to re-wash, then dry. At free of charge. If this isn't GREAT customer service, I don't know what is. THANK YOU SO MUCH. You guys are amazing! I will definitely keep coming here and recommend the rest of my family here. If I could rate them 10 stars, I would! read more

The machine at this place steals everyone's money. Tonight the machine took my $20 bill and gave me no quarters. When I called the business owner to notify them, they said they would have a woman come down and give me our money back in an hour. 10 minutes later the owner called back and informed me that I would not be getting my money back until he investigated because I may be the person that has scammed him before. He said he was watching on the cameras and that it looked like I was with the same person that scammed him last week! I have never been treated like this at a business in my life. Then numerous people that were doing their laundry informed me that the same exact machine always takes their money. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I did eventually get my money back the following Saturday, after the owner investigated, he was apologetic and sincere about the situation and gave me a free wash, but that was just too much nonsense to simply do some laundry. read more

Worst laundry mat I've been to! It's small, dirty, and the parking sucks - the prices are HIGHER than other laundry mats because they're open 24/7. - The weekends are always PACKED and the store is a narrow space so you get no personal space and you will have to keep moving your stuff for people passing by. - Small place so sometimes all the good machines or all the dryers are being used and you have to wait. - I've personally have found other mats to be more spacious and cleaner PLUS this place smells like cigarette smoke. There are almost always smokers out in front that you're forced to pass through with all your freshly washed clothes. yuck. - Rude workers everytime I've been here!! The people who work here are RUDE to normal, paying customers instead of clearing out the creeps. - If you're a single woman or with your children, definitely avoid this place - no carts sometimes, if they're all being used. once you have a cart, its so narrow inside you'll have to keep moving it for people, including the employees who are already annoyed and rude read more

Its real clean...inside and out..washers were very clean and dryers got hot really fast...especially the XL dryers. newer washers...standard regular washers, double and triple load, 6 load and 8 load XL washers all standard prices.....dryers are newer and get hot fast and dries clothes quickly! 10 mins for only 25 cents. I just left this place. I was searching on line for a 24 hour laundromat and came upon DZ. I read the reviews and was really looking forward to trying it out. I'm on a fixed income and the place was 36 min.from where I was. I hated having to use all that gas, my car only gets 15 mpg. But I felt it would be worth it and kid finally be able to get all my laundry caught up. I arrived a little after midnight. There were a lot of people there and finding an empty cart was the first issue. No staff or anyone willing to help. Found a cart and proceeded to the door to bring in my laundry only to find that the carts are made so they don't go outside. I was so very deeply disappointed. I am disabled and there was absolutely NO way I could carry all that laundry inside. What r people thinking when they do that. What r disabled people suppose to do. No help available, feeling totally embarrassed, i just wanted to cry. I hate being disabled and unable to do normal things and when everyone is looking at you run into the doorway with a cart, it's humiliating. I drove all this way for nothing but humiliation!
