Well, it's always easy for me to find this farm's bounty in going to the Ferry Farmers' market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. They started participating in the market about two years ago and, at first, I mainly only bought strawberries (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=JO1Cnr4pkcFCVEEfFkGKYA&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q) from them. Over the past eighteen months, I've become an avid fan of their vegetables especially their cauliflower (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=gC_FKh5f_f7M2Gj7ZbUB4A&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), cabbage, broccoli, and broccolini. I generally cook them within the week to preserve their freshness in flavors and textures, after all they are organic. And, when tomatoes are back in season, check whether they offer their self made salsas. They have become one of my weekly and sometimes twice weekly shopping stops at the Ferry Building. Do look for their stand by the main building entrance on the north side on Tuesdays and along the south driveway at Saturdays.

Once we found Green Thumb Organics we never looked back and have been with them for years. They have provided us with a yummy, healthy, beautiful, environmentally friendly bounty of food over the past few years and we have loved all of the spectacular fare that their hard work has prepared. Maria and Rudy are the kindest most hardworking and thoughtful people you will ever encounter. Their adversity and hard work is impressive having helped them adapt and persevere through some extremely difficult situations including the COVID shutdown and the recent floods. Rudy, himself, not only works the farm, but every week drives hundreds of miles and delivers his hard work with a beautiful, heartfelt smile on his face - always. Maria answers every email and addresses every question or ordering platform navigation challenges that one may run into. Their homemade salsa and marinara are scrumptiously spectacular! I literally buy 5 jars of salsa at a time every couple of weeks. Their prices are very low for what you receive. This is the last CSA you will ever need. Stop shopping and sign up with them. You'll feel better supporting a local, small business while being economical and environmental, helping you and/or your family's physical and mental health.

SALTY NUTS & SAUSAGE are my two favorite things in the world! I know I'm sick and I need help.) Oh they are located directly across from the Bratwurst Truck yeah baby... So my roommate Elliot (real dark red head) is a super regular their on Tuesdays and he always leaves some trail mix stuff out. Now I'm not "crunchy" or hippy dippy and normally don't dig on what some people would call birdfood although I know it is packed with nutrients etc... and I tried and it and I have to be honest. This particular mix doesn't look specail at all, not a fancy assortment or a wild range of colorful edible goodies, just a nice blend of basics and then some and what a great baggie fille with wonderful flavors. The one I'm talking about is called the "Deluxe Trail Mix". Then I've been on this kick and get dried sliced Mangos from Trader Joe's and I tried theirs and they are up there my friends... "Natural Mangos" (new crop from our Neighbors - Mexico) are just slightly sweet and uber tasty. Like paradise in your boca guey. Ok and the last thing I tried and of course got were the "Chocolate Covered Blenheim Apricots". Ummm kickass and killer! I've been meaning to up my intake of fruits! It worked out! All this (4 bags in total - I got 2 Deluxe Trail Mix) for only $10!!! No wonder why my roomie goes there almost every week. Don't miss this fun and luscious fruit and nut stand. Forget your Frutas from da Casa... It's all about the Apricot Farm.

We liked that there wasn't even a glitch when the craziness happened with covid-19, we just got our deliveries as usual. In fact, because our delivery spot closed for the quarantine, we volunteered to have our front porch as a drop off location. It was excellent. In mid-July 2024, they made an announcement that they were shifting their focus to prepared foods with an option for a preset produce box.l missed it. One day, our veggies just never showed up. I called, texted, emailed. None of the contact info was active and their website went down. I was sad & a little worried. It was just weird how everything stopped all at once. I somehow managed to figure out what happened and tracked them down. If you still want a preset produce box (not customized because they couldn't afford the warehouse space), they still deliver. Here is the new website: https://csa.farmigo.com/join/farmhousecafe It would have been 5 stars, but the rocky transition & lack of availability for support cost a star.

I turned to EWTS after being unhappy with the quality of produce I was finding at grocery stores. It has been a godsend! I've ordered fruits, vegetables, soups, salads, dips, eggs, cheese and suppers!! Everything is flavorful and delicious- this is my new go-to. Now, you might be thinking, "that's great but how is the customer service?" - and I have to say, they even excel here too! I like to call just to tell them they do a great job and they always answer and always take the time to listen and say they are thankful. I love this service and somehow it just keeps getting better- thank you!!!!
