I was craving a sweet treat, so my friend and I decided to go to Cold Stone, and it did not disappoint at all! We were warmly greeted as soon as we entered the store, which was great and welcoming. The employees there are so sweet and friendly to every guest that walks in. I got their cookie dough flavor with Oreos as my topping, and it was so delicious-10/10! Love the selection and toppings as always; however, the service at this location was very dry and unenthusiastic. I'm not sure if it was just an off day, but we came in with two excited little ones who greeted the employee with smiles and laughter. The response we received was a mumbled "hey, what can I get you," which didn't feel very welcoming. Our children were so excited about the ice cream that it didn't affect them, but a bit more warmth and positivity would have gone a long way. read more

Worst cold stone I've ever been to. I was sooo looking forward to our date night ending with some yummy coldstone. I told the lady (a woman incapable of happiness and smiling) my two flavors and that I wanted a chocolate sprinkle bowl. She goes off and comes back with my bowl, I politely said I wanted topping mixed in as well. What did she do? Place a few on top. A whole day of excitement for this mediocre ice cream. My boyfriend asked for his order and she said "we don't do premium mixes." I'm sorry what? No way we found a coldstone that has an entire menu and they said they couldn't mix flavors. Her reasoning? She said "It's 9:30. We are basically closed" Ma'am, on a Friday night you are not basically closed. Or maybe, a crazy idea here, DONT WORK THERE. Laziness. That's what that is. This location has been here for years now. And while I do love Cold Stone and visit occasionally, this store could use a good deep cleaning and an even better facelift. I asked about the yogurt machines that have been dormant for years and are now an eye sore, and the store employee told me that they will soon be replaced with soft serve machines that have already been delivered. I saw the boxes sitting in the store near the counter. Another eyesore. I hope the owner puts some money into this place because clearly people love it. Come here every week with my daughter. She loves cold stone ice cream. So of course for her birthday she wanted an ice cream cake from here. Unfortunately they could do everything she wanted but the icing. Only buttercream and she hates buttercream so she came up with a compromise. Cake elsewhere but order a quart of her favorite flavor. Finally took the time to learn more about their rewards program. Here's the deal: the app is horrible and still a work in progress. It wouldn't work right in the store, not even for the manager. Cold stone you are too large not to have worked out bugs in your app. Put your number in when you order to earn points. Don't try to order through the app. Not even worth the headache and you can't do everything anyway. BUT the quart of cake batter ice cream we bought with marshmallows mixed in was a hit! Cold Stone Creamery has always been a favorite of mine, but due to the pandemic I'm very skeptical of the places I go to because not all businesses have social distancing measures in place. I am happy to say that Cold Stone Creamery was on point with posting and enforcing safety procedures for their staff and customers. They only allowed five people in the store at a time and the patrons outside had to wait six feet apart on markers. The only down-side to my visit was they didn't have as many flavors as they usually have so I had to settle for what was in stock. read more

The young lady walked in back, came out and said they didn't open until 12pm. So I've never been a huge fan of Cold Stone. Always seemed overpriced to me, but they do have nice selections and we had a sweet tooth craving. Came on a Sunday afternoon. Due to Covid19 they have reduced hours from 5-9. I got a small watermelon sorbet and my wife got the Cheesecake Fantasy in a Like It size. When I checked in on Yelp, I received a 10% off my order when presented to an employer. I showed it to the cashier who said she never heard of it and she got her manager who said the same thing. He was very apprehensive to honor my discount. He did provide it to me, but with much attitude. I had not visited a Cold Stone in a couple of years and was actually looking forward to it. But I walked in and the store was not in the best presentable manner. It felt dingy and offputting. I was serviced fairly quickly, although there was not a person behind the counter when I walked in. I went with a favorite but made an adjustment to the flavor of the ice cream. My ice cream was creamy but it melted so fast. Much faster than I ever remember and this just turned me off. It was rich and sweet and definitely satiated my sweet tooth but it didn't make me feel happy. And shouldn't ice cream make us feel good. My son didn't have the same problem I had. He devoured his chocolate and gummy bears and was just as happy as can be. Not the worst, but there are other options in town that I just don't think I would come back. read more

Well I walked in with 2other women the young lady was so busy making waffle cones we stood there and waited I had no choice I ordered a cake online and already paid. She never greeted anyone finally she walked over to help the two woman not once did she greet me. customer service very poor 5 more min passed and a young man walked in I thought he was a customer he had on crocs and sweats very comfortable but he did great me and got to work right away without washing his hands had one glove on. Based on customer service only ! Went there to get some ice cream and was left a little disappointed. I asked if I could taste 2 ice cream flavors because I was unsure what I wanted and the server said they don't do that anymore because of COVID but the have the tester spoons next to the the ice cream holder. I would've been okay with that if they enforced mask at the door, ever customer in the store didn't have a mask on but they're so worried about COVID , yeah right whatever. I asked "okay so what if I don't like the flavor?" The server said "oh well" some customer service lol. I also asked if I can have my ice cream in a cone then he proceeded to put it in a bowl. When I said "I asked for a cone" he just looked at me for like 3 seconds and then said "I know it's because you're getting it to go" like ?????? I like the creativity and customizable creations at Cold Stone. This location is near my office and I can see it jammed pack with people during the summer. My boyfriend and I came here today because he wanted to cheer me up with some ice-cream because I received very bad news earlier in the day. The 2 employees that were there today 04/13/2021 at 7:00 pm should definitely receive some classes or instruction about costumer service. I'm never this harsh with any of my reviews but I have never seen rude employees in cold stone, they are usually super nice and polite. To start, My boyfriend asked how many Oreos were in their Oreo special and the lady literally got mad because he wanted an extra Oreo in his ice cream (which we were willing to pay). Then we go to the cashier and she is like "card" without saying the total, she swiped it and slammed the card in the table and said here you go. We noticed she charged us $22 for 2 "love it" ice creams ($7 each with tax), so we asked her why was it so much and she said you got 2 ice creams it's $7 each with tax (with a very bad attitude) and we just looked at her and she said oh yeah I see and she called the manager for a refund. So the manager came, and my boyfriend tried to tell him about the girl's attitude towards us and all he said was "don't say anything about my employees or I won't swipe the card for your refund" then my boyfriend was like man I'm just trying to tell you what she did and he said "I said it once, if you say something else I'm not swiping the card". I was so shocked like the only thing my boyfriend said the first time was "hey she was taking to me in this way and she didn't know what she was talking about". I have never seen a manager literally threatening a costumer about not issuing a refund (because of their mistake which they didn't acknowledge) because of a complain due to a horrible attitude. Because I was so shocked, I went back because I wanted to tell him as an advise that they should be nicer to people because they don't know what people is going through. So I went there and told the manager "just as a small advice, please try to be nicer to people because..." and he interrupted me and said ok have a nice day and literally turned around. Honestly, I understand if you are going through a situation and you are having a bad day at work. However, this was just over the limits. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because their ice cream it's always wonderful. read more
