We've been wanting to try the Concord location, so it was nice to finally check it out. I ordered the peanut butter overload milkshake and went with the simple version, so mine came in a regular cup--not one of the big mason jar builds. I did get a few pictures of the mason jar ones though, and they are definitely over-the-top and loaded. Even with the regular version, my shake was really good--super thick, rich, and a lot to get through. I made it a little over halfway before I was done. It was about $9, which feels pretty reasonable for the portion and quality you're getting. My niece had the cookie crumble, her friend got the banana pudding, and my sister had butter pecan in a waffle cone. Everyone enjoyed theirs--no complaints at all. The space itself is really cute. It's very kid-friendly and family-friendly, but honestly, it would make a fun little date night stop too. Just know going in--you can definitely share because the portions are heavy. Just wrapped up a meeting and our boss mentioned a milkshake spot he tried before and couldn't stop talking about--so of course we had to check it out. We pulled up around 2:45 on a Thursday, right before opening, and the second those doors opened we rushed in lol. We ordered the Sweet Cheesus, You Gotta Be Pudding Me, and Build Me Up Butter Cake. This is banana flavored shake in a mason jar with the rim covered in buttercream icing and nilla wafers, topped with a banana pound cake, then pudding, banana slices and whipped cream. It can be messy but i ate the top off first. You can move it to a plate if you prefer. When I left, the milkshake was still nice and frozen. There was caramel swirled inside the jar. There's a place to wash it before you leave and lots of utensils/napkins. Super cute place to take the kids for a treat. Plan to spend $15-20 per jar on the glass jars. I have been waiting for an opportunity to stop by this milkshake bar for a few weeks. Today was the day to visit this place. It mainly caters to kids in my opinion and the prices are a bit stiff for a fancy milkshake but I wanted to experience this first-hand. Service was at the counter, placing an order, then receiving a number. You are called when your dessert is ready for pickup. The cookie mash was more of an oreo milkshake with lots of frosting around the cup and a oatmeal cookie on top, along with an Oreo cookie implanted at an angle. More of an artistic impression of providing a milkshake to customers. The restrooms are very clean and the workers are probably in high school. There are 14 locations all on the east coast states that surprised me of the popularity of this concoction. I would probably return again in the far future. read more

I have been wanting to come here for so long and today was the day. Things were pretty quiet on my weekday visit and there was no wait. Staff was super helpful and patient as I had no idea what I wanted. I ordered the Fudgin Best, but with a vanilla ice cream base. I got the small size and the portion was perfect. Presentation was fabulous, but my ice cream was melting pretty quickly. I think they use soft serve, because I had to dive right in since it was turning to soup. I think I expected more of a thicker consistency because it was a dessert with toppings, but it was definitely more like a milkshake on the runny side. I enjoyed the dessert, but as I suspected, it's very overpriced for what you get. Next time I will make something similar at home, but I'm glad I came in to check it out. read more

My son and I have been anticipating the opening of the crazy Mason. We decided to stop by on a Sunday, and it was packed. We tried to give it a few days after their grand opening hoping it wouldn't be as bad. We were wrong! The decor, art, and selfie wall were super cute! It felt like forever before we got to order our deserts. The staff were super friendly, and it didn't take long for us to receive our deserts after ordering, which was nice. My son ordered the "you got to be fudging me" milkshake, which was a chocolate shake with chocolate syrup, brownie, chocolate chips, chocolate whipped cream and a Hershey bar! My son really enjoyed it and gave it a 10/10 I ordered a peach cobbler with ice cream. The ice cream was yummy, but the cobbler was watery and way too sweet.. I ended up just eating the ice cream. These deserts aren't cheap, so keep that in mind. My cobbler was 8, and my sons milkshake was 17. We'll be back for a special treat, and I'll get myself a milkshake next time! It's a NO for me! The outside and inside of the shop looks festive. A great deal of effort was placed in the decor and painting of this ice cream shop. The customer service was completely lacking. The ice ceam was not overly expensive like most ice cream shops but the consistency and overall flavor was mediocre. I asked the cashier if they had Wi-Fi only because one of the Yelp questions asked if you could bring your laptop. She went and asked someone and said yes they have Wi-Fi but no one knows the passcode but she seemed to be annoyed with the question. After placing your order, you are given a number to put on your table, but no one brings the ice cream out to you. You have to go to the counter to retrieve it. Me and my friend ordered waffle cones I had double scoop with banana pudding flavored ice cream as well as butter pecan. The shop is stingy with the scoops. We park, go inside and the line was backed up to the door, but not out the door. I decided to wait it out. It took about 15 mins to get through the line. Ordering was efficient, and it took about 20 mins to get my milkshake. Th kitchen/prepping area is open and right behind the counter. You can watch the employees make each order. First, we came on a Friday at 7:30-packed! Fun atmosphere very family friendly. People were cycling in and out pretty quickly though. To be safe I saved a table while my party stayed in the line that went from the order counter to the door. It moved fairly quickly considering how long it was. You can not see the menu at the counter from the back of the line and it's kind of overwhelming for your first time so it helps to review the menu while in line. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat a whole mason jar of ice cream. I opted for the turtle nachos which were delicious. Really liked the mix of flavors. The waffle cone pieces even had two different flavors. My husband got a cup of butter pecan with fruity pebbles and whipped cream. There are a ton of toppings to choose from as well as a variety of ice cream flavors if you don't want one of the specialty jars. He liked it. My son got a mason jar and it was the one with cookie dough. He ate the whole thing and enjoyed it. The menu also has other types of ice cream which is really nice. Other places I've been to like this in other cities focus on the mason jars without many other options. Not here! There's cookie sandwiches, even waffles with ice cream etc. Worth checking out the menu and checking out. You're looking to spend between $12-$18 so this is definitely a treat if bringing the fam. Cute areas to take pictures. Decorations are kid friendly. It's still close to their grand opening so hopefully they are still hiring. The brownie was nothing to write home about. You also pay more for fancy milkshakes as it comes with the mason jar, which you can take home. The interior is an open concept with tables and chairs. The line wasn't too long. There were two families ahead of me. There's a merch wall with shirts and hoodies. There's also a grass wall that would make a nice backdrop for pictures. There's a bathroom there. There is also a sink area so that you can clean your mason jars. The customer service was great. I ordered the sweet but salty. The Salty but Sweet consists of Salted caramel brownie ice cream, chocolate frosting, chocolate-covered pretzels, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, brownie, hot fudge, and whipped topping.
