I am disappointed not because of the taste or long wait. They don't wear gloves and as I was ordering the staff yawned in her arm then covered her mouth with her hand. I requested that she wash her hands and she had an issue with it. She said something to the man on the store not sure if he was a manager. She said she didn't get it. She did wash her hands but I had to indicate that it was a sanitary thing for me. You would think after coming back from covid that the idea of hand washing wouldn't be an issue for people especially those serving food. Being that they aren't required to wear hairnets or gloves, it didn't seem like an odd request since she covered her mouth with her hand after her elbow area. This is the only location here from what I know and I love going. Just disappointed that she felt the need to go to the supervisor about my request to wash her hands. Ducked into this Cold Stone when a giant rainstorm surprised us. One of the front doors kept blowing open in the storm, ushering in rain, wind, and a slippery floor. The tables were filthy, and none of the staff seemed to really care about being there. We haven't had Cold Stones in awhile, so after visiting the aquarium we decided to pop by. Be ready for a wait. Total waiting time was 45 minutes. The line was out the door and it went epic slow. They are understaffed. I wished I had asked people leaving how long it took. We would have gone elsewhere had I known. The worst part was that the workers all had magic gloves - you know the kinds you wear and can touch money, scratch your nose and hair and then touch food again and it will all be ok?? It made me sick watching it, but after waiting so long outside my kids still wanted ice cream. I just got an over priced bottle of water. The bathrooms are closed right now so there wasn't the security guard others had mentioned. The main waiting area was dirty. Behind the counter was clean though. The kids said it tasted good. Corporate office published a completely fake BOGO offer with no way to redeem it. You click the order now button and place the order and it does not apply a code nor provide the promo code on the fraudulent ad. Agreed to pay full price (nearly $40 for 4 minis) anyway because I spent 30 min trying to to get the promo to apply. I went to the store, asked the cashier (the only person there at lunch time during a special event on the riverfront on late Friday afternoon!) who told me it would pick it up from my phone number when she checked it out at the register. This also turned out to be a lie. Then she proceeded to complain that she was the only person there, and that online orders would have to wait until the customers the line were all gone. Waited another 30 min plus to receive 4 tiny cups of severely melted icecream that stained my kids clothes and cost me $40. I called the corporate office and they could not have cared less. They didn't even seem to understand that it was a problem to post false advertisements on the website, then blamed the franchise owner which has zero control over corporate advertisements whatsoever and probably hates getting blamed for the shady mistakes of the brand. She offered no apology, no solution, and was almost like talking to an AI bot except less humanlike. She told me she would email the owner of the store to see if they would like to refund the BOGO that was offered on the corporate site! I can't even make this nonsense up. I've never had a good experience here (I've come here at least 7 times in the last couple of months), the workers are rude and wouldn't know what customer service was if it hit them in the face. I've been turned away from ordering 35 minutes before they closed, I've stood by myself in line for half an hour while they saw me and didnt acknowledge me or try to serve me but my final straw was tonight when I went to order the same thing that I have gotten for 6+ years now from Coldstone and several times at this exact location and was told they wouldn't do it. Three brownies heated up with chocolate ice cream on top in a waffle bowl?????????? This item has been on the actual menu in the past and when the lady told me they wouldn't do it I asked to see if there was a manager that I could ask exactly why.... The manager wouldn't come out to speak to me. Whatever it's literally ice cream so I made them put brownies in one cup and chocolate ice cream in the other and went on my way however I won't be coming back here when I've had a good day because the employees always find a way to ruin it. I have been here several times. Their ice cream is delicious. The service is slacking just about every time I come here. First of all, it seems they want to sing and dance about once every 2 minutes rather than wait on customers. This takes time as they stop working. There is a great big long line and this makes it even longer to get your ice cream when they do this because they stop serving customers. Furthermore, to use their bathrooms, there was a sign that says "pay $5 or receipt". Also, there is a guard on duty to enforce this. I was coming in here to buy ice cream anyway but still. See my picture of this and zoom in on the sign in the upper right hand corner. You can also see the guard on duty over the bathrooms. You get a bad feeling as soon as you come within one second when entering this ice cream shop. Again, another business worried more about the bathrooms than making money.
