Came in for ice cream on date night , left disgusted and angry. We were standing in line and noticed 3 employees struck with fear and we didn't know why, as we payed closer attention my husband noticed a huge ROACH . This is a big health and safety risk, you're serving to kids, elderly , pregnant,& like myself immunocompromised people. I will be calling the health department because obviously this isn't an isolated event , employees didn't look too surprised just not wanting to be near the ROACH. I actually came here because I wanted a caramel apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory, not ice cream. The apple was good but the employee cut it up despite me answering "no" when she asked. Anyways, my friend got the strawberry blonde and she really liked it. I just happened to see a deal for $5 ice cream cakes so I got one and let me tell you, I'm not a cake person but it was SO GOOD!! As a cold stone fanatic, this location provides convenience because it's at the heart of downtown. Cons- always a line and it's pricey. It was a bit slow since there was two other patrons ahead of us and there was only one worker there. We both ordered a signature. The girl who worked there was nice and was okay to us asking for less syrup. I don't like Cold Stones in general. It is way too sweet and that was what happened to us this time. I love Cold Stone Creamery!! It saddens me to say the customer service we received on May 26th the absolute worse!! The wait was more than an hour which I totally understand because of the pandemic. My problem is the conversation amongst themselves which was cursing and talking about the customers. One lady with a burgundy hat (she may have been a manager, I hope not) barely had on a face mask, no gloves and was doing the most cursing and fussing. The service at this location is great for the amount of people they it stays busy. The location is clean well stocked and such pretty apples but they run 7.00 or more per apple. If you know Cold Stone, then you already know of their exceptional ice cream. The variety of flavors and mix-ins is mind boggling (from traditional vanilla to, heaven's gift to man, cake batter ice cream & sprinkles to chopped snickers) but if you frequent the downtown area and have never tried them, then what the heck are you waiting for? Even though there are usually only about two or three people working here at a time, they still manage to get through a bunch of people in line in a few minutes. The only negative is that there isn't anywhere to sit to eat your ice cream, but I suppose that gives you the opportunity to eat, walk and burn a few calories at the same time. The fact that this is a Cold Stone is reason enough to stop here for some of the world's best ice cream. read more

We visited this Coldstone for a late night sweet snack. It was a Saturday night around 10:30 pm. There was so much traffic in the area that it took awhile to get there. Plus, there is no parking in front or anywhere close by that we could see. With us being unfamiliar with the area & only in town for a short visit, we were unsure if that was the norm or not. To make things easier, my husband just dropped me off in front of Coldstone & circled the block, which due to traffic, took every bit of 20 minutes or so. Coldstone is small & the place was packed. As soon as I stepped in, there was a line that stretched to the door. I ordered my husband a medium vanilla shake & I got a cheesecake caramel apple. The apple was delicious. However, the size of the shake was a joke. The medium is really the size of a small. The location of this Coldstone made it a real pain to get to & that combined with the long line made it not really worth the trouble in my opinion. read more
