I've never felt so small as a customer. I called to get prices on a ready made ice cream cake and the girl on the other line told me that I had to come in because they had a line of customers and she couldn't answer my questions. We live 20 minutes away and I didn't want to drive all that way if they didn't have the size I needed. I told her I just wanted the price and she wouldn't do it. Gluten Free: nope, due to the whole mixing process cross contact is a given. That being said, I didn't have a reaction from my order. I hadn't known about the mixing and ordered without thinking... I got a small Cotton Candy with caramel that was just yummy. Brought back memories of me being at the fair and trying to eat my Cotton Candy & Caramel Apple at the same time. Due to the mixing it was nice and soft, just the way I like it. The thing that would have made better would have been if it was as smooth as custard. The service here is fantastic! She was friendly, engaging, & enthusiastic. Almost worth the $4 I paid for a small. The medium looks like a better value. Coldstone has been a staple of the Johns Creek suburb for quite a while. It is tradition to watch a movie at Regal then stop by Coldstone for a scoop or two. I almost always opt for cotton candy ice cream, even though all my counterparts despise the childish flavor. The staff here is consistently helpful, even when the hoards of moviegoers rush the parlor. What's more is their outdoor seating is perfect for a mild summer evening. I love Cold Stone creamery, my favorite ice cream place. This location was very disappointing. The front of the store was unappealing, littered with cigarette butts and napkins. When you walk in, the smell hits you, a mix of sour and rotten. The service was so, so, I was not asked if I wanted a cup or a cone/waffle. I have been going to cold stone for years and have nothing bad to say about the quality of ice cream here but recently I've noticed their staffing. One of the workers, as soon as I took my first step in the door, yelled in front of all the customers "do you have a mask?" And it was quite embarrassing because I actually was pulling it out of my purse as she was saying it which I thought was not very polite. Love this place! I always get the butter pecan ice-cream on the waffle. The prices aren't too bad like other places, I get the regular size with one topping for $5.11. It's so delicious! I gave this place two chances...both times the place smelled like old wet rags or just old water was used to mop the floor. How am I supposed to enjoy my ice cream with that smell in my nose? Also on the first visit, the guy was touching his nose a lot and then he seemed confused that I asked him to wash his hands so he half did it and I asked him to put on gloves. I used to come here all the time and it was such a positive experience. Workers like Allison, Zaniya, Tatyana and Andramada were such awesome employees and I loved seeing them when I came in. If you're looking for an ice cream fix, this is the place. But if you're planning on coming in at night or during the weekend keep in mind that they are right next to the movie theatre and usually fill up pretty fast. The line gets pretty long so I would go earlier than late at night. But even so, the employees are very efficient and always serve me as timely as they can and with a great attitude! This particular location (John's Creek) is terrible. The place was filthy and the girl getting our order (let's call her x) was incredibly rude. X started to prepar our first ice cream and then left us there so someone else had to come and help us. We finally got all of our order and my ice cream was bad, the texture was like it melted and they re-froze it. I asked X if I could get another ice cream prepared and she completely ignored me and said "I don't know what to tell you". The manager came over and re-made my ice cream and X proceeded to fight with the manager in front of all the guests about something unrealted to my ice cream but still very unprofessional. The second ice cream was OK at best. My boys said their ice cream was OK too (at $6 for a small ice cream, they shoukd be at least good). I used to love Coldstone but this last experience has left a bad taste in my mouth (figuratively and literally). :( read more

Stay away from their new Blueberry flavor. It was way too sweet and overpowering. Normally I favor strong flavors, but this was over the top even when mixed with Cheesecake and banana. My family loves Coldstone cakes. I was getting them at the hPerimeter location but realized Duluth was closer. I've called and ordered cakes twice and both times they got the order slightly wrong. The ice cream was good as usual, but the service was terrible. Me and my friends went on Friday, February 15 at night, and the teenage girls who were working were extremely rude to us. When we first came in, a few of us wanted to try flavors, and when one of my friends asked to try a flavor, the girl who was working cut her off and asked, "Is anyone actually ready to order?" Even when we were paying, the prices seemed unusually high for some of us while for other customers the prices seemed normal. When we finally got our ice cream and sat down at a table, the rudeness did not stop. Another one of the employees came up to us while we were eating and told us that we had to move the chairs back when we were finished, which is understandable, but it's also they're job to do so if the chairs were left there. Of course we were going to put them back, but I think it was unnecessary for them to interrupt us to tell us that. A few minutes later, we were laughing and the same employee came up to us and told us that we were being too loud and that they could not hear the orders of the other customers. Keep in mind, there were only 2 other people in the store, and they had already gotten their ice cream. Overall, the ice cream was tasty, but the customer service was terrible. read more

Went on a Sunday place was super packed and the line moved super slow ... Was alone with my always on the go 1 year old ... I am reluctant to visit on a Sunday again specially if I will have to wait in line with my impatient little one. My husband and I tried to get ice cream from the Cold Stone in Johns Creek, GA tonight.  There were a bunch of people inside and as soon as we entered we were rudely shouted to that they were closed.  The time was about 9:05pm. The sign on the door and website had 10pm listed as the closing time. Apparently we were not the only ones they were rude to. When we were walking back to our car we overheard a family we say leaving that they should change the time on the door. I feel this type of customer service is unacceptable.  If 9pm is the closing time then that's fine. ... just change the times on the door,  website and socialmedia! This is the third unsuccessful time we've attempted to go there based on the times listed on the window. read more
