So i popped in last night after dinner because I was craving a milkshake and hadn't had one in years. The young man working was very friendly and helpful. I was going to just not post a review, but after the ridiculous cost there's no reason I wasn't. I got a large strawberry cheesecake milkshake. Was it good? It was ok, not great. What was unacceptable was the idiotic price for the milkshake. 10 bucks PLUS after tip for what most places would consider a "small". I asked the kid "You're joking, right"? It wasn't his fault so I quickly let it go and said "Thank you" and walked out with my ridiculously tiny, over priced frozen heifer made treat. This wasn't inflation, this was stupid pricing. No wonder why I was the only idiot in their the entire time. I'd love for some "manager" to try spinning this...they can't. Its wrong and they know it. NOTHING on their menu was priced reasonably. No reason to ever return. Would have given a single star but the young employee was very nice. read more

We got a kids size and I used my $5 reward but they charged us for a small and said because they rang up my $5 reward they couldn't redo it and respect my reward... why do I have to pay more money for their mistake? Ice cream was what you would expect from them, delicious. However, service wasn't that great, multiple people behind the counter not helping customers. One person was putting spoons and serving utensils away 2 hours before closing time with 25 people in line, with her air pods in. One of four orders was put in the wrong serving container. Location was good however, lighting was dim and temperature in the facility was hot based on our four people's opinion. read more

Worker was insanely impatient and refused to make tiktoks viral ice cream taco when we clearly saw all the ingredients on the counter SMH‍. My gf HATES cotton candy INSANELY but worker INSISTED we took that. Location never fails me. The lights are basically off so they look closed which seems to be a preventive measure. Staff seemed bothered upon us walking in and asking if they were open because it was so dark inside. During the ordering process my toddler was very excited about the colors of the ice cream and as my wife is talking to the employee (her) about flavors and tasting her annoyance with us grew. Basically and unfortunately she was rude. The lights that are off look damaged and another has water stain damage. The area in which the employees are chilling was messy and not sanitary looking. The place looks dead and closed. Had to pull door open to make sure. The 3 young ladies had a look on their faces..... not even a hello or welcome in... one employee had her ear pods that right there is poor customer service. I ordered a oreo overload no oreo but chocolate chip, Gasca few Oreo crumbles but I was told I would be charged extra if I wanted more. The ice cream melts extremely fast. I had a sweet blonde girl taking my order --LIKED HER!!! I was my happy self and said ooh I'm going to record you making my ice cream but not get your face in it out of respect. Sorry don't know names but the mixed girl with EarPods in gave the dirtiest look at me and shook her head and said OUT LOUD you're plastered. I didn't say a word back. She was inconsiderate, rude and could tell she was crabby not just with me. Don't take your issues and attitude out on customers. Not about negative vibes like that and won't come back! Always love Cold Stone. We just love being able to customize our ice cream. On this trip it was sweet cream with pecans, caramel and Heath bar. Yum. The only reason for losing a star was that their freezer was obviously not working, the ice cream was pretty soupy. I still ate it all - it was just a little messy. read more

I haven't been to a Cold Stone in something like 8 years, but it hasn't skipped a beat. Cold Stone is still the same old over-the-top sweet tooth problem solver it's always been, and this location is no different. The staff were very pleasant despite the seemingly-endless lines of a post-Monday Night Football crowd. They were efficient and we were out of there in no time, drowning our sorrows (as traveling Ravens fans) in some delicious ice cream. Haha. Everybody in this establishment had a sad ass attitude....I ordered a love it size, which comes to something like $8.26, and they handed that shit to me completely leveled off at the top....I've been to cold stone for years and it's always above the rim of the cup. I have been several times and continue to go to this location and all but once it's been great. The one time I did have an issue (more than a year ago) the owner (not just a manager), contacted me directly and MORE THAN MADE UP for the issue. I can't say enough but the customer service on a week to week basis but then the way the owner took responsibility and went way above and beyond was more than impressive. This is why this is the only Cold Stone I will go to when possible. Thank you Bill. read more

For some reason, seeing the Coyotes play inspired having ice cream afterwards. I don't know, maybe it had something to do with being in the cold? In the cold in Arizona at that??? You have to time it right when you come here otherwise you end up in a long line, like right after the game ends. So I had to lick my chops for a about 10 minutes, reading the description of the Signature Apple Pie a la Coldstone while in line. There happened to be a lot of good tippers that night cuz the girls there were singing their hearts out every time the coinage hit the tip jar. It was nice to see happy people working there. One of the girls even insisted on making mine and I watched her forearms flex and work like a very eager 5 year old. I'm not the biggest Cold Stone enthusiast, but I can't say I've ever been disappointed at one. I have to say it's pretty bitchin'. read more

In the rain or in the snow, it's never too cold for ice cream. I been to this location a few times and they are always fast, clean, and efficient. It's right at the heart of Westgate, one of my most favourite places to go. The staff is always smart, kind, and helpful. Their strawberry blonde is super delicious, and the price isn't so bad for ice cream. The quality is excellent, didn't even have to use the loo to do an explosive two after each and every time I been here. Technology these days...! Super high quality stuff here. Overall a great place, will definitely be back, I think I'm going to go stop by right now. read more

Stellar customer service with staggering combination possibilities. Date: Friday March 30, 2012 Server: Katie Their jaws dropped... all these toppings!!! Wheeeeeeeeeeee!!! My boys were so excited! This was the first time I had been here, and I could not believe the choices. The people behind the counter were happy to help. Even when I asked a math question on toppings amounts vs. signature flavor prices, the girl behind the counter gave me the correct response, I was impressed... I bet she can even count back change, seriously. For $10.45 I bought my kids an experience where they were in charge of their own creation and were able to boast that each other's flavor was better than the others... We will be back. Apparently their freezer was broken so we ended up getting some soupy cream! It was horrible, we had already paid and our kids really wanted ice cream so we just took it and left. The line was very long and we told them it was soupy and they didn't seem to care. Instead of making a big deal we just left because there was a lot of people in the line. read more

With Arizona no longer enforcing the mask law it is expected that a business should state they require masks on the outside of the building however there was no sign at this location stating they required masks to enter. After standing in line I was told it was required I wouldn't have been upset by this if they had proper communication about this on the outside of their building kind of confusing when the state has removed the mandate. read more

When I think of ice cream where else can you go??? Cold Stone is the only place that has ridiculous combinations, a billion calorie shakes, too many flavors to pick from, and once you are in there you can kiss your behind goodbye.... Cold Stone in Phoenix in the summer? Great! This location? BUSY and slow but it is the summer. On our last trip we ordered a malt and were given a normal ice cream. When we asked for the malt, the server said they don't have malts. We asked for a shake and it was prepared. It seems to me that you should not make assumptions and when you do... the obvious guess is that we wanted a shake. Either way, it was tasty (if a touch expensive. Local yogurt places are about 1/2 - 2/3 the price of Coldstone's prices nowadays) but due to the location and time of year it took 30-45 minutes to get through. If you have a craving and don't feel like sitting in line, this may not be the best location. read more

This is probably a waste of time because a manager that cares about customers would NEVER have employees that acted like that, however this was some of the worst service I have ever had just trying to get a simple ice cream. Waited about 20 minutes in line, a family in front of us even left because the employees were moving in SLOW. MOTION. There were 6 employees, so you would think a well oiled system would make the line move quickly but oh my god these people were a mess. Half the employees kept going in the back to talk (they would go back there and come back with nothing in their hands) and the ones that were actually scooping the ice cream honestly looked like they were high because of how slow they were moving. Then, I FINALLY get to the payment portion, and I express to them in a friendly manner how slow the service has been and the guy is just not saying anything and aimlessly staring at me. I'm telling you I've been high before. And to top it alllllll off, a girl employee that was next to the gentleman I was attempting to speak to, STARTED. LAUGHING. I'm not even kidding or exaggerating, she literally started laughing. So yea I recommend a manager be on scene next time it is a busy Saturday night because that was absolutely 100% pathetic. read more

I was running late the day I was to pick it up but he was nonplused and brought everything to the car. It had all been fully chilled so I didn't have to worry about it 'melting' before I got to the party, All the guests were very complimentary about the look and taste of both the cake and the cupcakes. I didn't think about taking pictures until after the party ( oh no!) but Ryan had pictures and graciously shared them with me. I absolutely will order from him in the near future. I didn't plan ahead very well so I was frantically calling around on Monday when I needed the cake on Friday. I found Sugar Shells and they were very prompt in getting back to me and even though it was tight they agreed to make my cake and 2 dozen coordinating cupcakes. I showed them the picture I wanted (from Pinterest) and it was no problem! They were extremely efficient and quick in getting back to me. Any text sent was answered probably within minutes. They worked with me to both have my ultrasound results delivered to them and the best time to eventually pick up the cake. And the cake was CUTE! It was exactly like the picture and even though I gave no direction on the cupcakes other than "make them coordinate" they were perfect. Then when I got to eat it that night it was delicious. It's nerve-wracking using a place you've never tried before when you're throwing a party but my gamble paid off big time. All my guests told me it was so yummy and I got people texting me that week asking for the info. The price was exactly what they quoted and they even worked to make sure I knew what I wanted which resulted in me saving 5 dollars. Basically they're awesome.
