Mac Daddy cookie w/ maple pecan ice cream

Splurge quick little dessert date as my wife has been working crazy hours for a youth camp that's coming up. Walking in you're welcomed by 90's/00's hip hop and a really cool graffiti style art in the walls. We ordered the cookie ala G mode with the Mac Daddy cookie (white chocolate macadamia nut) topped with cookie butter ice cram, whipped cream and a cherry. It was incredible! There was a slight saltiness to the cookie that balance out all the sweetness. We will definitely be back because everything on the menu looks like something I know we'd love.

New and HOT spot! Looking for a sweet treat for indulgences? BIGGIES will offer just that! They offer a variety of desserts, such as giant cookies, gelato, and even tacolatos, which is gelato in a taco-shaped waffle. I got their chocolate chip and s'mores cookies. 5/5 for the choco chip and 4/5 for the s'mores :) The aesthetics gave that California feel, I loved it. Plenty of parking. Service went great. The young lady working was knowledgeable as well. I would come back with my fiancé and try other cookie flavors next time

These are the best cookies I've ever eaten! They're not overly sweet but sweet enough. I been so disappointed with crumbl cookies over and over again. I decided to Uber Eats this box and I was not disappointed. I even called the shop and the owner answered so I was happy to tell him how much I loved them! I wish there were more locations because I think they blow the competition out of the water.

Vibes- immaculate Desserts- Even better! They warm up the cookies before adding the ice cream Lots of toppings to choose from. They let you sample the ice cream. Listening to good music while you eat dessert- priceless! 1000/10 recommend

I came here to pick up a TGTG bag and it was my first time even hearing about it. The assortment of goodies they have is incredible, and they have taco ice cream! Hello childhood. Gelato flavors look incredible, and all of the cookies look delicious and fresh. I tried my cookies and they were absolutely scrumptious. Can't wait to go back and try more.

Craving a cookie late night and biggies did not disappoint. We got the chocolate chip. I loved it, my sweet tooth hasn't been the biggest, but this was an absolute beast of a cookie in all the best ways. It was just the right amount of sweet, tasted real, none of that hyper processed diabetes flavored style cookie that is popular as of late. The service was fantastic. We came an hour or so before close and everyone was extremely nice. As for the tone, it's like a portal to the 90s with the ambiance. Family loved the cookies and we will be back to try more!

Had some time to kill and of course I have a sweet tooth! I was worried due to the reviews I saw but I had a great experience given it was a Friday afternoonish about 4 pm. I was the only person there and there was only one staff who was very friendly and showed me the menu. I got two items. I got their taco cookies and cream ice cream, and I tried their cookie smores. Both were super delicious. Although I will admit, I was thinking my ice cream would be blue haha as I thought their cookies and cream was a blue version, but it was still very good and normal colors. Overall, I was very happy with my sweet treat and we'll have to come by again when I'm on this side of town.

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and patient with our large group and worked quickly to get everything out. Vibes are great and they have awesome music playing. Will definitely be back.

What a great addition to the block. This is the only closest ice cream shop with such a dope name. How can you NOT like the the Biggies sign. When you enter in it full of color and smells of sweetness. The young lady behind the counter was so friendly and excited to let me know alllllll the options I had. From gelato cookie sandwiches to gelato taco chocos, shakes, coffee or, even just gelato itself. I settled for just 2 scoops of gelato. I got the Apple crisp 10/0 love the pieces of apple and I wanna say the crispies lol and the cookie butter 5/10 nothing to woooww about. I will tell you this is the first time at a gelato establishment weigh out your scoops then calculate the price usually I only see that at a frozen yogurt shop nonetheless delicious. Come give them a try you won't be dissatisfied.

delicious. I have been to many sweet spots and sometimes the desserts look good in the photo but you can only take one bite and it's just too sweet or , just simply too much going on ingredient wise and it feels like a waste of money and all just for a picture for IG lol this place however, is truly 10/10. The gelato ice cream is so good you cannot stop eating it and the each of the cookies we tried were amazing! I often go to crumbl and get various flavors but end up really only enjoying the chocolate chip so I kinda expected to feel the same coming here but every single flavor s'mores, red velvet, and chocolate chip were so good I couldn't decide what flavor I liked best. That's a first! Forsure will be back. The 2 girls working were very kind as well and had a great relaxed , clean atmosphere. Prices were even fair for the Amazing presentation of desserts you get as well!

So.... we walk in at 9pm for gelato. One family of four that had already ordered and waiting for their treats was there. The gelato was almost done and what was there looked not so good. Also, person there said "this is what we have and there is nothing in the back" and to be honest she didn't seem pleased with being there. Anyway, my wife was the only one that ordered and, we were then told "I'll text you when your order is ready" although as stated, she was already making the order for four people when we arrived. 18 minutes later we abandoned our pre-paid order and called it a bust. Probably the lousiest gelato joint I have ever stepped into, and I truly hate giving bad reviews to small businesses as a business owner myself.

I finally got the one that is daily up for grans, and I was so excited! My sister and I can't figure out why there's only one bag per day, but it's very coveted so we were excited to see what was actually inside! We walked in to the bakery with the intention of ordering more treats, in addition to what was in the too good to go surprise. When we walked in, it was 10:05, and they closed at 10:30. They had already put away half of their gelato and baked goods in the cabinet. I understand closing time is at 10:30, but if you still have almost half an hour left, I'm sure there are customers that are gonna come in and buy things. There were three parties of people that walked in while we were in there and then sitting out on the really nice patio. There is a little bit of seating inside, but the patio was very nice and there was plenty of seating out there too. The vibe is super cute, and I love the decor. Hopefully next time we go back, we can actually try things because they won't be put away!

It happened to be a little under twenty minutes away from us so we decided let's do it & they were open late. Hell yeah. There's not a crazy amount of pastries but the selection was great. We got two tiramisus, one vanilla custard lobster tail, some mini cannolis, & the wedding cookies. Everything came out to about $50 so beware, prices aren't exactly cheap. But for one, if you're going to do "bad" then do it right & we also shared with our family of 5 so plenty to go around. & Holy cow, everything was incredible. So indulgent, decadent & rich in flavor. My nephews liked the cannolis, personally they're not my favorite, but if you're into it the mini's are a great option to quench the craving. The lobster tail with the vanilla custard took me by surprise. I didn't think I was going to care for it, but the cold custard was refreshing & the flakiness of the bread was crazy, my taster buds were confused by the textures, but in the best way. They complemented each other well. My ultimate favorite was the tiramisu & the wedding cookies. I honestly wish I had gotten more of the wedding cookies, those things took me back. I grew up eating the Mexican ones & the Italians did it right *applause* But damn, the tiramisu was to die for. I would order that again & again. Perfectly chilled, the dusting of the cocoa powder didn't taste like nesquik--incredible. At first the price had me thinking if we were doing too much, like damn, should we have just gone to Sprouts bakery? But after being able to indulge in a great quality dessert, it was worth every dollar. My only feedback, careful when you're paying at the register. If you're not paying attention, the tip automatically defaults to 18% on the tablet. Only thing I didn't care for. I could see if I was eating at the restaurant, but I just popped in to take pastries to go. So, that was kind of annoying. The service was fine, the girl that helped me was nice, but again I just pointed at desserts I wanted & went home. The location is part of the main restaurant, but it has its own entrance & little room making it feel separate to the Sicilian Butcher. They also carry gelato which I haven't tried yet. I believe they have little tables to sit at also. Highly recommend checking this out so save room for dessert!

A West Valley Gem Packed with Flavor, Charm, and Plenty to Discover…read more If you've ever driven past that bright pink building on the corner of 101st and Grand Avenue in Sun City and wondered, "What's in there?" let me save you the suspense: it's the New York West Bakery, and it's absolutely worth pulling over for. In fact, I've made the hour-plus drive each way more than a dozen times just to visit. Whenever I find myself anywhere in the West Valley, this place is a mandatory stop. I've taken countless photos of my visits because there is always something new to see, taste, or admire. Under its new ownership, New York West Bakery has evolved into a wonderfully unique fusion-style café. The menu is delightfully unexpected, featuring everything from traditional breakfast favorites and homemade tamales to incredible Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches. If I can dig up some of my photos, I'll add them because these sandwiches deserve their own spotlight. The transformation isn't limited to the menu. The Interior: Spotlessly clean. During one recent visit, I watched an energetic staff member carefully mopping the floors and making sure everything looked perfect. It's obvious they take pride in the place. The Exterior: They've added a charming outdoor patio complete with colorful umbrellas, comfortable seating, and newly planted trees that will provide even more shade as they grow. It's a fantastic addition and makes for a relaxing place to enjoy a pastry and coffee. The Food: Where This Place Really Shines When New York West Bakery gets it right, they absolutely knock it out of the park. Their fruit tarts are hands-down some of the best I've had in years. They're fresh, beautiful, bursting with flavor, and surprisingly affordable for the quality you're getting. Best of all, everything is made from scratch, which shows in every bite. The newer savory menu items are also a huge win. Their Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches deliver serious value. They're enormous. Honestly, one sandwich is big enough to share and still leave you feeling satisfied... or at least leave just enough room for dessert. And speaking of dessert, I have to mention those fruit tarts one more time. They're that good. My wife Lucy absolutely loves them. In fact, "love" might be an understatement. If fruit tarts had a fan club, she'd probably be the president. New York West Bakery continues to grow and evolve, and it's exciting to watch. Between the friendly atmosphere, expanding menu, beautiful patio, and from scratch-made baked goods, it's become one of my favorite hidden gems in the Valley.

Update: June 2026 The new owners have expanded into more of…read morea café than a bakery, and a fusion one at that since you can get Vietnamese Banh Mi sandwiches, tamales, and traditional breakfasts. I love that they added outdoor seating with cheery umbrellas and have planted trees to provide additional ambiance and shade, although the highway noise will always be problematic. The inside is spotless and while I was there a friendly staffer was keeping it that way by energetically mopping. Sadly, the St. Joseph's pastry I had had a tough not flaky or crisp shell, but the ricotta filling was light and good. I was so looking forward to the poppy seed bread but when I got it home and cut into it, the filling was not spread out throughout the bread and there wasn't much of it. The bread itself was not tear apart tender, but dry. I saved it by slathering butter on it and lightly toasting it, but that shouldn't have been necessary. For the prices, everything should have been top notch or marked down and labeled as day-olds. I'm curious about the breakfast and lunch café options, so I'll probably go back to give them a try, but note that the prices have increased by more than a few cents per item since the 2025 someone else posted, so check for the latest. Maybe they are trying to do too much and should limit the variety and be known for a few super delicious items that are always fresh and superior to what you could get in a supermarket. Having a few signature items and being the go-to place during special holidays would help define them, and please, please FRESHNESS is crucial--maybe the products are just drying out more because we're in AZ, but I'm not the only one mentioning dried out items.

They have many specialty breads from olive loves, multi-grain, French and more. Noticed there was mostly takeout, but there are 3 small tables each with 2 chairs, however no outside seating.
