I came in prepared to purchase several pints of ice cream for my husband, my boys, and myself. However, I was unable to open the freezer door where the coffee and root beer flavors were located. Three employees were standing nearby, and when I struggled with the door, one simply said, "Yeah, it does that for a few seconds." I waited, tried again, and still couldn't get it open. Despite clearly having difficulty, none of the staff offered to help. Frustrated, I went to the checkout with fewer items than I had intended to purchase. When the cashier asked if that was all, I explained that I couldn't get the other door open. Her response was simply, "Okay, your total is..." without any attempt to assist or address the situation. The ice cream is great, but customer service matters too. A simple offer to help could have turned this into a positive experience. Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled, I don't think I'll be returning to the Murrysville location.

I felt very interested in watching the fog from the liquid nitrogen. I had chosen a size small for about $7 plus a tip, and this ice cream was actually a very large size! I really enjoyed the flavor of the ice cream and waffle cone. This Sub Zero also offers bubble teas, Italian ices, shakes, smoothies, ice-cream pies, and ice-cream cakes as well as fundraisers to raise money and educational presentations to teach about science. An employee kindly greeted me. She needed me to repeat my order, but the employees correctly assembled my sundae. I liked the flavors very much. It had two scoops and toppings and cost about $10.

I will say the base itself doesn't have much of a cheesecake flavor to it, but they include little bits of cheesecake throughout the milkshake to make up for that. All in all, a fantastic little ice cream shop to support and visit!
