I went to the counter and said "excuse me" at least 4 times with no one hearing me (I hope) or they were ignoring me. She rung me up for the soft drink, after I paid she mumbled about having to log out at drive through and come over here and log in here just to log back out and go log back in at drive through. I proceed and pay and am given a triangle stand thing with a number on it. In total, my order didn't take long to get. My only confusion is, the person who took my order then went to the drive through window and proceeded to take 4 maybe 5 orders through the drive through. My warm food came after she finished taking all the orders. What confused me was why all of the drive through ice cream orders were all made one by one before my malt was made if my order went in first? I understand there's different priorities of orders (I work in food production). But if I'm standing there and you are able to make my chili dog and pretzels with queso faster than you can mix a malt with no orders ahead of either of them, I feel like that's backwards... so a bit confused on that there. The chili dog was just ok. The hot dog felt like it wasn't very fresh and there was chili all over the box. The chili was ok as well, flavor was good but it was room temp, not hot, not even really warm. The pretzels were slightly warm, but not hot like they'd just been prepared. The queso was good in flavor but was as hot as molten lava, like it had just been nuked in a microwave. The malt, was average. It tasted good but wasn't mixed all the way through. And the soft drink didn't really taste like anything, I got Diet Coke but it was almost flavorless, but you can't really blame Dairy Queen for that. I witnessed them go above and beyond for another customer that needed a sugar-free flavor that wasn't always available. But I didn't give up I went online and through a search on Google I was able to find Norm's Ice Cream and they had a website! When I went to their website it said they HAVE AND SOLD Toasted Almond Bars & I was so thrilled!!! I placed an order online and purchased 2 boxes of them. Oh & I ended up buying other great ones like original Choco Tacos, Chocolate Eclairs, Strawberry Shortcake bars, Bomb Pops, Screwballs and sooooo much more!! It was like being a kid again finding all the good oldies!! It was a bit of a drive to Milford from Warren but I didn't care!
