Staff was great, both patient and helpful. The service was fast and thorough. We ordered 4 items total and all were just as we ordered. They have a Wednesday special for waffle cones which is nice. They added some sun screens to the windows since the last time we were there which is nice, as the sun is brutal some days. They offer inside seating and some patio seating as well. read more

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I walked in at 8:40 when it closes at 9 and there was no line and was told to wait, which I had no problem with. I then proceeded to order at 8:50 and was told by the person working that they do not make shakes 15 minutes before closing. I have never seen a collection of untrained staff like this before. This group of young people attempting to run a cold stone business is really a shame. They are disorganized frantic and lack any semblance of quality control. After I paid for my milkshake and waited patiently for nobody to make it I observed the staff continuously wiping spoons and serving implements on their aprons while others waited for the confused staff to gain some sense of control. The Kenosha Cold Stone seems pleasant but when you're a customer dealing with bad attitudes, it spoils going out for a treat. No one wants to waste their money on bad service. Keisha, Keisha, Keisha. Every time we go here we get Keisha with her attitude and bad customer service. She rushes your order and walks away from you while you're trying to give your order. No one is going to yell across the creamery for you Keisha. Talk about taking the joy out of ice cream. Pay attention to your customer so you don't mess up orders. Also don't hand a customer ice cream sloppy, the cup is leaking and smeared with topping falling off the top due to the melting. Wish I had something nicer to say but can't. She ruins it every time. When arriving at this establishment the excitement that filled my bones was undeniable. The ice cream was how I say INCREDIBLE however to my disappointment my waffle cone was so soggy. So I absolutley love coldstone creamery as a whole as its the best and it doesn't make me sick. That's what the 2 stars are for. This location never gives gives good customer service and when you ask to taste the flavors before making your selection, they make you feel like its a problem. Well we know that this wondeful custard is not cheap, so when I order, i want my fill, whether its a like, love or mine and my toppings shouldnt be skimpy. Well this last visit was it for me. I will have to search for another location because I'm done with this one especially since I drive from round lake. I get home and this is what my mine looks like. Maybe we just went at the wrong time of the day, but in the middle of the afternoon the day we visited this place only had one employee working and she was overwhelmed. She was trying to answer the phone, clean the counter, prepare the food, and run the cash register all at the same time. Wish I could give zero stars. I just waited in like for almost 30 minutes to get a smoothie after working out. My boyfriend ordered his smoothie first, but when Brianna (the worker) asked what I wanted, she claimed that the ice was too hard to make another smoothie. I just saw her chip off the ice for the last smoothie, but she was too lazy to do it again. Her customer service was atroshis!!! I am apolled at how rude and inconsiderate Brianna was. Not Living up to standards. The ONLY reason I am even giving a 2* is because the ice cream was very good. However, the place inside and outside was completely disgusting. The outside garbage was over loaded and falling on the ground. The floor inside has used napkins and crumbs everywhere. Busy place. Good ice cream with lots of add-ins from which to choose. Just avoid temptation and go for the small size. It's more than enough for most people. Cold Stone is always a treat for us, as it was last night when we stopped by after dinner out. My boyfriend got the mint mint chocolate chocolate and I got the birthday cake explosion. We were very satisfied! My only pause was that when I chose to add a waffle cone, the gentleman preparing my ice cream neglected to inform me that my "like it" size would have to be upgraded to a "love it" size. It didn't necessarily phase me, I just wish he would have told me before I went to pay and realized the cost was more than I anticipated it being. read more

I'm hesitant to even give this place one star. Before driving the 25 miles to get there, I looked up their website to see if they carried frozen yogurt. It read "ice cream and yogurt". When I got there and didn't see any frozen yogurt options, I asked the guy behind the counter "if I want a shake, what yogurt options do I have?" He said they don't have frozen yogurt. I told him it said it right up on their sign. He looked completely baffled that it was even on their list of items to chose from. He then told me that they had sherbet or a sugar free/fat free ice cream I could get. Neither one are close to yogurt, but I chose the sugar free/fat free. Then he told me that he couldn't make a shake because they were out of milk. My husband wanted a waffle cone and they were out of them. I noticed the people ahead of us were not real happy with the way things were going, either. I hope that whoever owns this store sees this review and is made aware of either the lack of competent help and/or management at this place. This is definitely my favorite ice cream place around. It's just so good. They add the mix-ins to the ice cream right there so you can make whatever flavor you want (my favorite is oreo filling flavor with coconut and oreo pieces). However, some people find it a bit expensive but at about $6 for a large I find it reasonable (especially given the quality). I'm just super bummed that there isn't one closer to my college in Minneapolis. read more
