Negative stars to the Pleasant Prairie Wisconsin store!!! I ordered cakes to be delivered to my father the Friday before Father's Day this year. the delivery window was 11am-3pm. i was called at noon and told that unless my father was waiting at home and they had his phone number they would NOT deliver the order. I paid $35 for delivery. I said I would monitor the delivery and someone could call me, she had already called once and has my number. She then stated that she didn't want her driver driving far in traffic on the Friday before Fathers Day.. I'm like, that's why I paid $35. She then suggests that my elderly father drive to the store to pick up the order, which is not only silly, but incredibly ignorant. this woman kept yelling that she can't leave cake outside, it's perishable, as if I didn't know that I HAD ORDERED CAKE!!! I told her that if no one answers the door, as my parents sometimes like to sit on the back patio, etc, I will see it on their Ring cam and someone will grab the damn cakes! She then hangs up on me and I have to call back And ask to speak to her. she pretends to be someone else on the phone, which was hilarious, telling me that they won't deliver the order bc I'm rude and that i should have a 'blessed day'... The natural sunlight from all the windows and adorable displays, really offers a welcoming experience. We chose 4 bundtlets so we could try several flavors. Terrible customer service! I ordered from this location months ago to have the worst experience with my delivery reading my message out loud to my significant other at his work place! With sweetest day coming up I figured I would give them one more chance as he loves their cakes and as I sat on the phone today waiting 15 minutes on hold just for them to tell me they can not delivery for tomorrow, poor customer service and scheduling at this location. The little "bundtlets" cakes are perfectly sized for a dessert to take home after you've eaten at one of the other restaurants in the area (and there are a lot to choose from). I called pleasant prairie wisconsin store to have a cake delivered to my sister for her birthday,delivery fee was going to be $21.00, i am willing to pay, since she really likes them and i am in columbus ohio. problem is the girl said they cant leave on the porch (its a covered porch, etc), that someone has to be home for them to deliver! well thats not going to work, she usually is home by 5 from work, but she works for the post office and sometimes she can be later based on her work..to bad that she wont get to have one of the delicious bundt cakes for her birthday. boo read more

Our first time in this location. Got a couple of gift cards and a Peppermint Chocolate Chip bundtlet to share with my daughter once we got back to our car. I asked if they had forks and was told no but you could buy paper plates and forks for $4.50. They should have forks to hand out in my opinion- when you buy ice cream you don't have to purchase spoons. read more

Buyers beware! Check your cakes in the bag. I made the mistake of not paying attention last Saturday and got home to see I was 1 cake short. I didn't think anything if it because I knew I would be back this Saturday. I went in and ordered and told the girl that I was short a cake. She said that she had to check with her manager. She left and returned asking whether I had called. When I answered that I had not she stood and stared. She made no efforts to do anything else or go back to her manager. Very frustrated I told her to ring me up and found myself becoming agitated so I told her to go get her manager. The manager came out and I told her that I wanted her to know I would not be back after being treated that way. The manager said I took it the wrong way because she wanted to know if I was on a list. I said I didn't call but also didn't like the conversation of whether I was trying to steal a cake. I told her I didn't see what other way to take it. After a back and forth she offered me a free cake which I declined and told her I would be changing my review. She said that ass t her intention and I told her that her staff needs to be better trained and the silliness of someone at a register while someone else bags cakes. She appeared happy to see me go. So there is a list of people that call because this happens alit? Don't the match money to inventory every night? How many people are trying to steal a $5 cake.
