Cute, fun ice-cream shop to bring kids to. They serve Wisconsin-made Chocolate Shoppe Ice cream and a variety of handcrafted cakes. The service is always friendly and the inside has fun and unique decor.

We stopped by Scoops on Friday, May 23 around 8:30pm after a pizza dinner. The shop was active and full of people enjoying a treat, and it's in a great spot for a post-dinner walk. The decor inside is super cute with colorful ice cream-themed decorations hanging throughout and fun lights in the ceiling that really add to the playful vibe. It definitely looks the part of a fun, welcoming icecream stop. I didn't get ice cream, just four of their mini ice cream cone sugar cookies. The gal at the register actually lit up and told us they were her favorite sugar cookies, which was a nice touch. The cookies were adorable and perfect for a sweet take-home treat for when I'm ready to indulge. That said, the rest of the staff felt a bit disengaged--no real greetings, small talk, or smiles. Just didn't feel as friendly as we expected for such a cheerful place. Cute shop, fun decor, and tasty treats--but hoping for a more warm and enthusiastic vibe next time.

Had a blast finding this cute store called scoops. The staff were really nice. They gave us a walk down of top flavors, what's most popular, and their favorites. You can sample flavors. This store was pretty busy when we got there. We all got kiddie scoops, that was plenty for us. I saw others with three scoops and it looked amazing. The ice cream was tasty and a sweet treat to an end of the day. They also have indoor or outdoor seating available.

Definitely the ice cream to curb your hankering. We both enjoyed sampling ones we thought we would enjoy until we found the one that would satisfy our sweet tooth.

Scoops is the best ice cream place to go too. They always have the best ice cream ever!. Julie the owner is always so sweet and kind she always makes the place fun, and welcoming. They have so many great flavors of ice cream it's hard to choose from, I absolutely love them all if you ever want ice cream I definitely highly recommend scoops!. My son got the cotton candy ice cream, my fiance got the superhuman milk shake, and I got the kitty, kitty, bang bang my 8 month old daughter and I shared. my baby girl love the ice cream and was amazed at all the fun, beautiful decorations and light in scoops.

Very inviting place with colorful decorations. Eighties music in the background. Great place for both adults and kids. Serves homemade ice cream, candies, cookies and malts. Delicious flavors and generous portions. Server was helpful and efficient especially when there was a line. If I'm ever back in town, I'd be sure to stop by.

Great ice cream, cool place. I'm a big fan of Zanzibar Chocolate from Cedar Creat Ice Cream Co. and they always have it available. Scopps has a nostalgic ambience reminscent of the 1950s. Plenty of parking nearby.

Came here after dinner and was surprised that this place was packed on a cold fall evening (low 30s outside). It took about 15 minutes before I could order. This shows how popular this place really is. I tried a few samples and I loved that they carry Chocolate Shoppe ice cream- which has always been very tasty. It was reminiscent of my favorite neighborhood ice cream shoppe I used to visit in Chicago. Scoops has a large variety of unique flavors including coffee, classics, and my favorite: peppermint! They also had a separate case of vegan ice cream which is a nice option for the dairy-free community. What I found fun is that Scoops carries different types of cones as well. They had the regular waffle cone (dipped) and sugar/cake cones, and speciality cones made of an actual cookie. Plenty of parking and a very cute deck. Just wish it was warmer so I could eat my Scoops outside!

    Cute little treats

This is the local spot to go for ice cream in Kenosha. The single scoop is pretty much like a double. A must try spot for ice cream.

The place smells amazing right when you walk in! Cute popcorn shop with a ton of different flavors to pick from. Along with icecream flavors and miscellaneous candy treats. They will make it fresh for you as well- thank you Tom! He was very kind answering all of our questions and making a customer feel like a customer (not always something you receive these days). It was hard to only pick a few popcorns to bring home with me, but I ended up purchasing the s'mores and cheese and caramel blend, and impulse purchased the chocolate turtle at checkout. I appreciate how samples of the popcorn are out as well. Everything was fantastic and this will be a must stop for me when I'm in Kenosha!

The store wasn't closing for another hour but I was told a bag was popped not even 15 minutes ago. I live in the area and normally walk around the corner and get a fresh bag of hot popped popcorn. I also was told that it would take 15 minutes to make. A popcorn store needs 15 minutes to make popcorn. It was a gift I said no problem. Waited. Paid but several items and when we got home in walking distance the popcorn was STALE. Yeahhh I will never go back or recommend again 15 years of being a patron in the community interesting outcome.

CITY SLICKER I have…read moredriven by here many times but i have never stopped. Recently I needed zucchini. We were having company over and I wanted to add grilled zucchini to the menu. When I stopped in I was amazed at the large selection of items they had. They also had a bunch of great looking zucchini. The normal price for them was $1.29 a pound but they were on special for 75 cents a pound. I grabbed 3 nice size ones and the total price was $1.83. Now that was a deal. I should have grabbed more. I was also able to meet the owner Chris. She was very friendly and helpful. She actually stopped in to drop off more zucchini. She was also there to see how the store was doing. We also started talking about cooking food and using fresh veggies. As she was talking to me she was looking through the peppers. She picked up two giant green peppers that were going bad and asked me if I could do something with them. I told her Yeah and she gave them to me. In fact, I took them home and roasted them on the fire pit. I also served them to our guests later that day and they loved them. In fact, the guests used them on there brats. I know roasted peppers are not a traditional topping but I must admit they tasted fantastic on the brats. Thanks Chris for giving me these and adding to our already delicious menu. This store is seasonal. I am not sure when they close down but I'm sure when it starts to get cold. I also learned that Chris is the daughter of the famous Jerry Smith who has the farm North of this location. So all of there fresh seasonal veggies come from there. Jerry Smith's farm has a great pumpkin patch for the kids to visit in October. If you haven't been there then I recommend you load up the Family and make a trip there. They also have a Corn Festival coming up in August too. Those events take place at the Jerry Smith Farm and not here. I also have a Yelp Review posted for that location. Okay back to Green Acres. The selection was huge. They had a variety of potatoes and onions, Roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, 4 foot tall Dill, corn, hot peppers, green peppers, pickles, watermelon and zucchini. Everything looked amazing. In addition to the fresh vegetables this location also carried flats of flowers too. I really wanted the palm tree for $330.00 It looks so cool plus I would always feel like I'm on vacation if I owned it. So if you are driving down the road and you see a little shack at the side of the road it's Green Acres. It is the place to be. It's like farm living which is the life for me. Yeah I may get allergic from the smell of hay. I do love the country but I also love my big city too. There are some song lyrics mixed in there above...enjoy!!! See Green Acres makes me want to break out in song. I'm happy that people seem to be getting healthier. Places like this are helping us move in the right direction. We need to learn how to make food again and not out of a box but from scratch. It is not only rewarding to do this but it tastes amazing. So I appreciate Green Acres and I can not wait to stop back.
