Visited Adrian's on a Friday evening for their blue moon flavor of the day. Was surprised to see they also have hot dogs. Bought the hot dog combo with chips and a cup of blue moon. SO delicious! I always check their FB page to see the flavor of the day but have never gone wrong with any that I've tried over the years. I recently tried butter pecan which was outstanding. Salty and sweet with swirls of caramel and lightly crunchy nuts. And today had hog heaven which was peanut butter chocolate custard with peanut butter swirl and nuts. Soooo good. ***STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES*** I just moved to the area a few weeks ago. I am allergic to artificial dyes, and it is incredibly hard to find ice cream/custard/gelato, etc without artificial dyes. I get it. Presentation over health. So I reached out to Adrian's to ask if they use artificial dyes, and I was told the flavor I inquired about is "all natural." The following day, they went out of their way to reach back out to me to let me know their newest flavor was also "all natural." Thankfully I did not try to come in yet, as they later admitted they use artificial dyes, even though I specifically inquired about artificial dyes and they claimed the flavors are "all natural." They would rather mislead customers to drum up business than be honest. They're going to wind up getting sued for sending someone to the hospital with a much worse allergy than mine. They also have a sign up saying they serve Klement's hot dogs, "the official hot dog of the Milwaukee Brewers." This brand hasn't been the Brewers' official hot dog in six years. Just another example of misleading customers. Deception will get you nowhere, Adrian's. read more

Ok just wow. Adrian's is the cutest, fastest, most delicious frozen custard in our area. In all seasons and weathers there's a line at the ordering window at Adrian's, and it moves like lightning. Friendly, fast, accurate service. Adorable seating area in front and back. Pull up an Adirondack chair and enjoy the view of the Milwaukee entrance to downtown Burlington. I grew up in Burlington and have been coming here since I was a child. I took my fiance here to try it and he loved it as much as I do. They are closed in winter which sucks (but makes total sense). The custard is amazing and the prices are still reasonable. Every time I come here (which isn't as much as I'd like) I am reminded of my childhood and how it felt coming here with my parents and friends when I was older. The people there are friendly even though most of them are teens working but they work hard and are appreciated for sure! There is a SMALL area to sit inside and eat but I usually take my order to go and eat in the car or at the park across the street if it's nice enough out. I hope this place stays around for many many more years so I can bring my son and future children here. And maybe their children too?? (Hopefully). read more

I love going to Fred"s and after lunch I saw nearby a frozen custard place so I decided to give it a try. The sign says it all, rich & creamy and from local dairies in the area. And it's one of the richest creamiest custards I've ever tried. They're very reasonably price and for a twin mound sundae made your way for under $5 is a steal in my view. Service is just as sweet and friendly. There is a small area for indoor seating and plenty of outdoor benches to sit and enjoy. There's a children's park across the street and ample parking lot as looked. I've bookmarked it to take the grandkids to. They only accept cash and there are no restrooms. read more

But now that our kids are 7 they weren't allowed to order the smaller size cone ( five and under only) We got 2 small cones that were way too large for our kids to eat w/o dripping everywhere. when we asked for a dish to put them in we were charged $.10 per plastic dish.
