    Awesome cinnamon roll
    Alan B.

We came in for breakfast for the first time and were blown away. I tried the mini omelette. It was great. You have to come and ask for a cinnamon roll. It's so big you can almost split it with the table. It is so good you will want to eat the entire thing though.

Cinnamon Roll made fresh daily! Ewwwwwy Gooey Goodness!

Wonderful unassuming brunch place in Perrysburg. The food, atmosphere and staff are spot on. The cinnamon roll was one of the best I ever had (made fresh daily).

    Potato Ball Benny

I had the Potato Ball Benny and it was scrumptious. My only issue was that the ham with it was basically thinly sliced deli ham when I was expecting a nice thick piece of breakfast ham. I also ordered toast with it, but it took forever to get the toast. The waitress was nice but not super attentive and u sat at the counter to make it a little easier since it was just me. All in all, I still would go back.

This place I've only been to once so perhaps take it with a grain of salt. It is a very nice restaurant inside. I was seated at the bar and had a great server. I did have to wait for my check for a long time and felt awkward, but otherwise it was fine. I was told they were well known for their cinnamon rolls so I got one. The problem? I did not like it. The color was so light, so it didn't look like your typical roll. There just wasn't as much flavor or frosting that I prefer. For my main meal I got the bagel and lox. For the price, I don't think I got a fair amount. It tasted fine but nothing amazing *shrug* I've had better lox. But at the same time, few places serve bagel and lox so I'm happy at least they have it. I may have to try this place again.

We had a lovely experience at the Lamplight Cafe. We had brunch on our mind, which led us to this little cafe nestled in cute harbor town commons in Perrysburg, OH. Friendly faces greeted us and served up tasty chai lattes & fresh brewed coffee. The food took a little longer than expected, hence the reason for the 4 stars vs 5. But everything tasted amazing and fresh, you will be a regular once you dine here once!

Rise n shine sandwich is sooo delicious! But the potato balls are the star of every meal. Love them so much I get them every time

Really yummy food. When they're busy it's hard to get a seat but 8/10 it's a great experience

I'm torn on this one, so they get a mid-level review (given it's a family run business and I want to root for the little guys, I'm giving them benefit of the doubt that the service isn't always so bad) My corned beef sandwich was very good. My nan and hummus was fair. (Nan was flavorless and a bit dry). The service was slow today- I think it was mistakes coming out of the kitchen. My brother didn't get his lunch until after we were done eating. Got myself a box of buckeyes to go. They were just okay (not very peanut buttery).

Cook cooking one handed while on phone!!!

The most lowest poor graded food imaginable!! My eggs over medium were raw, the frozen cut-open-with-a-knife hash browns were under cooked and cold, the pulled pork was smashed like a thinner than thin pancake and grilled until it was charred and of course cold!!! The orange juice is not real it came out of a soda machine and the worst was the cook...the entire time I was there he was cooking with one hand while talking into his iPhone speaker. He then walked outside... still on phone and then came back inside still on phone and went back to cooking food one handed! One server was spreading cream cheese on her bagel at the bar and eating it while drinking her beverage. There was absolutely no sanitizing of staff anywhere!! I pushed my meal away and paid and left and will never ever go back!!!

It was a charming Italian spot with a cozy dining room and a welcoming patio. The menu looked great, so even though it was already late and only about a half hour before closing, I chose to dine there. I was a little worried I might feel rushed because of the time, but that did not happen. I was greeted warmly by the hostess and the manager as soon as I walked in, which immediately made me feel welcome. Since it was a bit cool outside, I chose to sit in the dining room. I was seated in Sydney's section, which turned out to be perfect because she was an excellent server. Even though she had already started the closing tasks in the dining room, she still provided outstanding service. She was attentive, polite, professional and efficient. She took my order right away and kept the soda refills coming without me ever having to ask. Sydney's service really made the difference and it complemented my delicious meal. In an era where many restaurants feel inattentive or simply not invested in the guest experience, Basil Pizza and Wine delivered a memorable evening. It ended up being an unexpectedly great dinner and it will be my go to restaurant the next time I am staying in Perrysburg. Sydney and the restaurant were fantastic.

My friends got alcohol and they seemed to love their cocktails. We ordered bruschetta and our waiter warned us that it's not your typical bruschetta. We tried it anyways. My friends absolutely loved it. I hated it lol. It's EXTREMELY sweet. It's got a lemon marscapone cheese. The bread is very soft and fluffy and tastes great, but they pile that sweet cheese thick on top of it and it's just not my cup of tea. My friends ordered pizza and they loved what they ordered. I ordered the Caesar salad and added chicken. The Caesar dressing is chefs kiss. I absolutely loved it and wish I could've taken a bottle of it home with me. The chicken was cooked well, but definitely needs more seasoning. It took a bit to get our checks, but overall it was a great experience.

This time I got a waffle and a side of bacon. The Bacon came out very burned and the server acted surprised that I wanted it sent back. She did so without a problem. I ordered 3 over medium eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns and you wouldn't believe what the server brought out. The hash browns were so disgustingly greasy (literally in a pool of vegetable oil) and uncooked I was offended a server willingly walked that out to a customer. My first plate had the aforementioned hash browns which were neither 'hashy' or 'brown' in any way, but also had l eggs that was overcooked on the outside while having raw whites and yolks on the inside. My sausage was also pink in the middle. I sent the hashbrowns and eggs back and received over easy eggs (not over medium as ordered and still inexplicably overcooked on the outside) and hashbrowns that were still uncooked but less greasy. My wife received fried potatoes that were still FROZEN in the middle The server stated that the grilled doesn't work right and the cook doesn't know what he's doing. The server never sent a manager over and took my meal off the bill, but didn't comp my side or my orange juice, so we left paying 30$ for a breakfast that neither of us enjoyed. I don't complain about anything ever, but that's a pretty TERRIBLY managed restaurant that serves inedible, undercooked food. On top of that the customer service email on the website doesn't function; you can't message the official company facebook page and none of the countless complaints on google reviews have any reply's so the message I am recieving as a customer is "we couldn't possibly care less about your terrible experience". Also, the responses from "Kelly" on here instructing customers to visit some weird link to the company website to address their concerns (which 404's btw) is insulting and more evidence of a complete lack of care on behalf of upper management. There is nobody you can complain to and nobody trying to improve Our experience was so bad that my wife who formerly championed Scramblers now will never step foot in one again.

We then decided to make the drive to Levi's Commons hoping to take in some incredible ice sculptures. Most of the sculptures we saw at both locations were business logos... a bit of a disappointment. We decided to take a chance on trying Perrysburger's in downtown Perrysburg beacuse it was later in the afternoon. I had been there a few times several years ago not long after this eatery opened their doors. We were immediately seated and while we were looking over the menus, all the other tables were subsequently filled and a line began to develop. We timed our visit perfectly! We ordered Fungus Amongus and Let's Brie Friends burgers along with the unending fries. Small restaurant with only a handful of tables, one server, and the grill chef - that's it. Burgers were well seasoned and good tasting. In my opinion, these burgers were on the medium-well side of the spectrum, so a bit over done for me. The fries = yum! Reminded me of a shoestring type version of Berardi's in Sandusky Ohio. These fries were nicely seasoned and done to what I would call, perfection! Even with every tabled filled and a line of hungry patrons, the food did not take an inordinate amount time to be served. Impulse purchase homemade cookies were located at the register. We obliged and purchases one of each flavor - choc chunk and oatmeal with butterscotch and walnuts. Overall, price was moderate as to be expected for a downtown P-burg location to cover costs for this husband and wife owned/operated business.

Also had the rosemary truffle fries with parmesan. Those were tasty too. I think what makes the burgers in all their iterations consistently good is the quality of ingredients, especially the beef. I'll be back for sure.
