This is one of the smallest Cold Stone Creamery I've ever been to. It had a few tables inside, and then a few more outside. The two girls working behind the counter were pleasant, and managed to keep the line moving in an efficient manner. Cold Stone Creameries in general have an excellent assortment of flavors, and once you take into account all the mix-in potentials, there is definitely something to make everyone happy. This visit I had the Birthday Cake remix, which is cake batter ice cream, rainbow sprinkles, brownie pieces, and then I substituted caramel for the fudge it usually comes with - delicious! I have only been in this location a couple of times, and both times it was pretty dirty. Tables weren't wiped off, floor wasn't clean, and counters were sticky. The gentleman in charge of the register wasn't sure how to use my $1 off with Yelp check-in, so he tried a few things, and managed to get one dollar removed. They don't have a water cooler, so the manager gave me a cup of tap water. It's a good spot if you're desperate for a quick fix, but if you have the time, I'd go elsewhere.

When I lived in VA Cold Stone was the spot. However, I'm not impressed by them anymore. I ordered one of their speciality mixes (with cookie dough - I forgot the name lol). & it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. My daughter ordered the birthday cake remix and she left more than half (that says a lot!). I guess you don't get homemade when you come to a chain ice cream shop. My daughter however, was super impressed with the entire experience (mixing the ice cream and toppings). The guy up front was super kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back.

It is amazing! It's like ice cream hibachi. The people were nice and eager to help. The flavors were diverse. Best ice cream I've had.

Sub zero nitrogen ice cream in Naples, Fl is part of a chain serving ice cream & yogurt, including…read morevegan, sugar-free & soy options, made to order & flash-frozen. I tried the sugar-free Citric Substance in a waffle cone bowl and really enjoyed it. The liquid nitrogen process makes the ice cream extra creamy and smooth. Everything is made to order, so there are tons of flavors and mix-in options to customize. On our visit, one employee put your flavors together in a bowl, while another employee processed the Nitrogen portion. Cool to visit a company that was featured on Shark Tank back in 2013. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area!

My wife and I visited Sub Zero on a Wednesday night. One couple was there when we arrived, but by…read morethe time our ice cream was finished it was just us. The place has a good layout, with ice-cream themed decor and plenty of seating. The main area did have a wall stacked with dozens of boxes and a ladder in public view which could have been hidden away, but it was still comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful in explaining the process to us newcomers. You start with a size of small, regular or large (the small is pretty big, as it should be for the price) and a base (Original, Custard, Low-fat, No Sugar Added, Lactose Free, Yogurt (fat free) and Coconut (vegan). My wife chose the coconut as she is trying to limit Diary and I went with the original, both of us ordering a small. You can then choose one of their 12 pre-set menu items like the Chocolate Conduction or Strawberry Sigma which were the two my wife and I chose, or you can pick your own flavor (about 30 options) and Mix-in about 15 options or another apx 20 sweets like Cookie dough or Twix. My wife's strawberry was lovely, and mine was a bit rich, which I expected based on the ingredients. From here, they add the base and ingredients into a bowl, stir it up, turn non the nitrogen and you watch the worker mix it up for a few minutes. And the final product is some really nice tasting ice cream, made to your taste or diary preferences which are infante. The downside, it's expensive in my opinion. For two small ice creams, a bottle of water and the expected tip during checkout, it was $25.75. As much as I liked it, this will limit my coming back. It's novel and tastes good, but you are paying for the entertainment value which is also a drawback in that it's slow. Some ice cream places have a spout of free cold water on the counter and available to customers, which would be a nice touch considering the price point, saving me a few dollars of needing to buy a water, I think it's worth trying out if your pocketbook can accommodate.

Their Death by Peanut Butter flavor is my absolute favorite--it's rich, creamy, and downright addictive and that's alot from me given I don't have a sweat tooth. Every time we're in Fort Myers, Royal Scoop is our go-to spot for dessert. I love that it's a family-owned business, and the friendly service always makes the experience even sweeter. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some of the best homemade ice cream you'll ever have. It's a total gem!

I went with the Cookie Monster flavor because, well, I like cookies, and I like monsters--seemed like a win-win. What I didn't expect was the shocking amount of food coloring, which, let's just say, made for a memorable bathroom experience the next morning. I won't go into details, but I briefly considered calling a doctor before realizing, "Oh, right... the blue ice cream." Let's just say Cookie Monster left his mark in ways I wasn't prepared for. That said, would I come back? In a heartbeat. Would I order the Cookie Monster again? Probably... but with a little less fear.
