Went there today and waited 20 min in line. Not that big of a deal. Tell me why the stone isn't even cold anymore?? Is it broken? We got three love its and they were already melted. Ice cream all over the cup and made a mess. I asked for all three with lids. Not sure I'll be coming back. Haven't been to this location since moving here 4 years ago but not sure of these are the correct standards. Staff was friendly and kind. This is Sophia and her coworker! Both girls were very friendly! They were left by their self on a very busy Friday night. They had customers out the door and mobile orders galore. They manage to check people out, scoop ice cream and fulfill the mobile orders. These girl kept a smile on their face. Our service was great!! It was a fun experience! We had two young helpful servers and the young man was a character!! He was able to toss the ice cream ball way up in the air and catch it in the cup no problem! My oldest son and I were so happy that they had the brownie and cookie sundaes! My daughter placed an online order for a cake and two pints of of ice cream. The order was placed three days in advance for a noon pickup on a Wednesday. When I arrived at the store just after 12:00 I was told the cake and ice cream was not ready and it would be done in a few minutes. So I sat down and waited. A little over half an hour later some people came in wanting to order ice cream and when the girl came out to help them I ask how longer and she told me it was almost finished and got ready to help the other people who had just walked in at which point I told her she needed to finish my order (which had already been paid for) before helping other customers... at that point she rolled her eyes at me and went back in the back to work on finishing my order. After about another 15-20 minutes she finally finished our order (which she gave me in a closed box without showing me). I asked her why our order wasn't ready when I arrived at the scheduled pickup time and I had to wait almost an hour (making me late). She told me It was because they had a large amount of cake orders for pick up at the same time.... I'm fairly sure that was a lie since it was noon on Wednesday (noon is when they open)... not exactly a busy party time, not to mention not one single other person came in during that hour to pick up a cake. Then when I went out I checked the cake to find the worst decorated cake I have ever seen and the ice cream of the cake melting (probably because it had been sitting out for so long). This girl quite clearly had virtually no experience at cake making and decorating and should not have been left there alone to do the work. He goes back in the back yet again for mango stuff and then begins to make the smoothies. Halfway through he puts everything in one blender and blends it and then pours into the cups. It only fills one to the top and the other halfway. By now, there is another lady who has been waiting at least 10 minutes, I've sent my coworker next door to get our food because our break at this point is fast dwindling away.And we look up and here comes another person from the back. Didn't even know anyone else was in the store this whole time. He makes more smoothie pours it in the cups, we pay and exit. Get back to work with about 2 minutes to spare. Mind you, we are only about 3-4 minutes from the store. We start to drink the smoothies and discover The smoothies are one quarter chunks of ice cubes. Big non blended cubes of ice. Now we are a bit pissed. 20 minutes to get the darn things and they aren't even blended properly. We call the store and the person that came from the back? Guess what she was the manager. And what we're told is because we got the product there isn't anything she can do but speak to the guy who made them and make sure the next time he blends them all the way..Wait....what? 20 minutes and $13 for smoothies that aren't even smooth and that's all? No, Sorry, if you come back we can comp you or next time it's on us, nothing. And when we ask for a higher up we are told there isn't one because that store is a franchisee and no district manager or anybody else we can speak to. Managers name is Makayla we did get that much out of her, but that's about it. For $5.75 a piece, I'm pretty ticked off. For a total of $13.78 and each smoothie had about a quarter to a third of nothing but chunks of ice cubes instead of blended smoothie? Yea. Won't be going to this location again for ice cream, smoothies or none of that. Ms. Makayla's attitude was very nonchalant and very unprofessional at best. The service itself was slow and shoddy. I got a "Founders Favorite" and it was way more chocolate and caramel syrup than actual ice cream. I usually tell them I'd like a little less toppings, amount wise, than what they normally put in. We drove over 20 minutes to come to coldstone for something different. There were three employees in the store.
